"This restaurant offers the best Chinese cuisine in Guildford. My group came for a birthday dinner on Sunday and enjoyed the buffet, which costs £22 for adults and £12 for children. They even gave us a souvenir photo of our group as a gift, which was a nice touch. The buffet concept allows customers to reorder food and have it made fresh and delivered to their table, rather than sitting out under heat lamps for hours like at standard buffets. Customers should be mindful not to overorder as food waste is taken into account. The quality of the food is consistently excellent and the service is quite fast, but it's recommended to book in advance. While it may not be the cheapest option, customers definitely get what they pay for here."

"I put this down to pure greed sadly. We booked a table last night for two. We arrived, and were promptly put on a small round bistro sized table for two. Before we were seated, I informed the head waiter that we were going to...order a set meal for two and that we would probably require a larger table. Now I know this, because last month we were moved to a larger table by them, because the number of dishes were not going to fit on the small table comfortably. So I asked if we could have a larger table and was told abruptly, no we are fully booked! At this point we should have left in hindsight. The table beside us, for 4, was left vacant for the majority of our duration that we were there for. Once the many dishes were squeezed on the table, the head waiter came over and moved the bowls around on the table and said there, it all fits! Weird… I hasten to say, we won’t be eating at your restaurant again"

"If you really knew what happens in this place you wouldn't wish to eat there. If your a veggie watch out the kitchen use boiled chicken water even in egg fried rice or veggie curry. The rice that get served if not used goes back into the streamer to be re served to another customer. It's as fresh as coming out freezers and packets look as you go to the small smelling toilets there a freezer on right just open it up The list goes on including there back area where staff toilet is has meat left out in open. Fridge is not stacked to how government hygiene says it should be. The owner not owners if you look it up does not care and finds it funny if someone wishes to make a comment. Service is slow and just about par but not for price you pay. Hot pot is hot s**t all from packets and been defrosted more then a couple of times for some parts of it. Yes hygiene inspector is being called and photo's will be on way."

"We had a meal from your restaurant the other night, and I'm sorry but it was awful. The chicken in my curry was prepared in some kind of weird way, I can't even be sure it was chicken! We also had noodles and rice which tasted burnt. Sorry but this not the first time this has happened. Your restaurant used to be our favourite family restaurant for sit down meals and takeaways. We won't be using you again, unless you change your kitchen staff. Sorry."

"Ordered a takeaway from Wei Dao for 4 Singapore Noodles and a Beef in BB Sauce. Great food noodles had that oomph taste and was quite crisp. I would happily recommend Wei Dao to anyone looking for a tasty, less greasy, bang for the buck, healthy Chinese takeaway. The guys running the place was swell as well. My wife was allergic to prawns and the Singapore Noodles did have them. The note I placed with the online order to avoid adding them to one of the noodles was unfortunately overlooked, perhaps being a busy Saturday evening. I called them to complain once I reached home. The person who picked up was so graceful, that he kindly suggested to provide me with another one without prawns and even threw in a few Spring Rolls as a good will gesture. When I offered to return the original one, he insisted to keep it for the family on the house.Was quite amazed with their response, and when I reached to collect the food, they apologized unreservedly. "I've been here a few times. Food is always good. It isn't super-cheap, but it's certainly not extortionate either and portions are generous. Good for a nice meal out, and a bit different from Oxford's usual eateries. It's an interesting building too, which makes for an interesting ambiance. However, this particular meal was slightly hampered in that respect by a large (very noisy) table next to us on their Christmas do. I'm sure it was a one-off, but the restaurant might want to think about how to accommodate parties like that in future, without detracting from other people's experience. I'd still go back though."

"Very disappointing experience. I love PF Chang in the US so I was excited to find it in London and see my favourite dishes on the menu. That was as close as it got to the real thing! Lettuce wraps were too smoky. Chicken dumplings were tasty. Mongolian beef chewy and seasoning was all wrong with a lot of raw spring onions thrown in and that was it. Orange chicken was very soft and sauce gluey. Both main courses felt like they’d been sitting on the side for too long before being served. We were not offered a second drink despite our glasses being empty from after our starters. When I ordered my first drink, I had asked the waitress that I was interested in 3 cocktails and asked her opinion which she gave and it was delicious. A savvy waitress would have come back to see if we wanted to try the others! She also didn’t offer desserts or coffee so we had desserts elsewhere. It wasn’t a bad experience, just disappointing. Will not be returning."

"We ordered both the vegetarian set menu and the classic set menu, along with a few items from the a la carte menu at this restaurant. We found that the set menus were already substantial, so the extras weren't necessary. The portions were large and the selection of dishes was impressive. Despite the generous portions, the quality and taste of the food were excellent. The restaurant offers delicious Thai cuisine, a pleasant ambiance, and good value for fine dining. We highly recommend trying the signature sea bass dish."

"After doing the Velocity Zip wire, we checked into Olif... what a beautifully decorated hotel, in a great location and very friendly staff. Free parking on the road near the hotel was easy too. Room 1 was just like the photos Aubrey emailed to suggest reserving a table in the restaurant for our evening meal (if we were planning to eat there) as the tables can fill up quickly and he wasn't wrong! Great atmosphere for dinner and the tapas was amazing, along with the local ciders cocktails Breakfast was perfect and very filling! Would definitely recommend staying here"

"We’ve been enjoying this place for nearly ten years, and it offers delicious, hot, and freshly prepared Chinese food, along with a BYOB dine-in option. Although it changed ownership a few times, and we took a break due to concerns about food safety in the past, the new owners have really elevated the quality. The food is consistently hot, fresh, and flavorful, and there's a great menu with sizzling dishes and three types of dim sum available. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, with a take-out option and enough seating for diners at the front. One of the best features is the ability to bring your own alcohol, and there’s no corkage fee, making it a great option for a relaxed Friday night out without having to worry about cooking. The friendly owner runs the restaurant with his family, and they always treat diners to complimentary appetizers and a fortune cookie with the bill. We’ve never had a bad experience here. It's worth noting that they are closed on Mondays, and parking in the area can sometimes be challenging. Overall, it's a wonderful spot for a casual meal!"

"Food was excellent, drinks very expensive but the evening was absolutely ruined by the live music singer which incidently wasn 't advertised or mentioned when we booked. Website says live music on Friday we went on a Saturday. As a group of friends catching up we were unable to hear ourselves speak or have a decent conversation the entire evening. Several times we had to ask for the music to be turned down but the volume soon crept up again. Check before booking here if you are expecting a pleasant evening socialising with friends or a noisy party atmosphere. Wouldn 't go here again on principle as despite the good food the evening was very uncomfortable"

"[READ THIS IF YOU DON 'T WANT TO WASTE MONEY) You definitely feel thirsty after the meal as the food are oily and salty. Food quality are bad, not traditional Thai food. No service at all. The staff just ignore my desk as we finished our dish, no one come and clear our table. Poor Service! One more note, make sure to check the bill as they include service charge in the bill. The all you can eat just cost £19.9 per each but they input £1 additional service charge per head in the bill, which is £20.9. When we questioned the staff what is happening, they said this is a optional service charge and we have a choice to not pay the £1 per head. This made me consider the waitress is untruthfulness which mandatory the guest to pay for it. Very very disappointed experience. I definitely won 't eat this shop as there are lots of choice in Trafford Centre."
