"Steak was seriously impressive. There were some oddities in the service though. I thought it was the kind of place that you wouldn’t usually go to unless someone else is paying. A lot of thought has gone in to the presentation of the food. It’s inside the Hippodrome casino so perhaps the customers want flashy, over the top presentation. The restaurant delivers that with beautiful bowls and dishes that come frothing with with dry ice. The Ocean Plate was nice but came with the wrong kind of soy sauce IMHO. Sushi is usually paired with a much lighter soy sauce. I had the 350g ribeye and it was some of the best steak I have ever had. Chimichurri sauce was nice. There are many steak options on the menu but most of them were unavailable (supply chain issues? . The side of chips and the side of carrots and peas were slightly dry. For dessert I went for the Mango Baked Alaska. It turned out to be a somewhat deconstructed variant that looked like something that had been run over by a motorbike, smoke still streaming from the box it was served on. The restaurant occupies three or so steppes overlooking a gaming floor. The spaces are narrow and loud and chaotic. Staff did a great job considering the environment but this is not somewhere you would want to go for a romantic evening. The service is oddly rigid as well. We had made two separate sets of bookings and it would have made sense to combine them into one booking but this didn’t happen. At least we got both groups sitting in the same area. You also aren’t allowed to order starters for your group and then decide on mains later. All food must be ordered at once by the whole group (they made an exception for one member of our group who was arriving later . There was no particular explanation given for this. The restaurant did not seem understaffed; there was an army of waiting staff on hand to deliver food and open bottles of wine."

"not really Thai food lovers. probably one of the least tasty Thai meal I had. I took my friend who was an Olympic visit in the country, in the epsom thai. it was a last night special meal and I was embarrassed in the low quality. the tom yum suppe that we had was really salty and tasted nothing like tom yum tom yum is characterized by its pronounced hot and acidic aromes and fragrant crink grass, kaffir lime leaves, galangal, limette juice, fish sauce and crushed chilipfeffer. we could just try fish sauce, nothing else. I have certainly missed the galangal and zitruskalk leaves, not cheap, but if they serve Thai food, they should be included. We next had, pad thai and drank. the pad thai was not great and came without a kalk I have never seen before. When I asked after kalk, the waitress still put a disc lemon on the table and went away. I had to use it on my duck to give it some aroma, but this has not improved the gray tasty dish. I love thai and have eaten many in my time, its most often the fragrance of the dishes and even the rice that gives me so much joy. they had used cheap white rice that was hard and certainly not fragrant or even delicious. the waitress seemed irritated and hurried so that we could not really communicate. on the bright side the restaurant is beautifully laid out and the other waitress was friendly and smiling enough, but they were underused. I was here years ago and his changes, not for the good. I really hope they get another cook and bring back the taste to the dishes with fresh ingredients."

"one of the worst culinary experiences I had in london. beginning with the arrival in the restaurant where we had to wait 30 minutes to sit time where a parade of the staff went out of the door, the people in the waiting queue to have cogarettes outside the restaurant and complain very louldy about the fact that they say a great waiting queue out the door, that is how they can not eat that in the after. after half an hour waiting where the same worker was behind the bar, all kinds of dingen from complaining to profanity, which made my friend very unpleasant, our drinks order was taken and we were forgotten for a bit before we order our food in the situation. we managed to get a job through and enjoy them a few drinks and toughness that we enjoy our night at least until midnight, as this was our foundation for booking a later slot machine and after sitting so late, I had no doubt that this would happen, but around 11 o'clock when we just finished and waited to understand another round, we had to get a drink that we had to get. we talked to the manager lucia who was amazing to deal with our situation, and she was very understanding, and I was willing to lay this down and move because she was so beautiful, but the disappointment was 't ended there. one of the waiters came to our table to tell us that we have to speed up with the drinks offered by his manager to make for the terrible night we had, while they simply poured a glass prosekco to a dame that looked like she had just come. we stood up and left at which point the same worker started laughing, very louling celebrated our abandoning of the restaurant. we felt very undiscovered and had ruined our new year's eve. eating was average, but the whole staff was very rude and did not seem to want people to be there. I didn't want to break up fast."
