"Breakfast served beautifully, presentation on the pancakes was amazing, they were lovely and fluffy and fruit zingy. The traditional breakfast was great, I wasn’t a fan of the tomatoes and mushrooms it came with on the menu so the staff member happily suggested substituting for more sausage for no extra cost. Great choice as well because the cumberland sausage is to die for, egg yolks cooked to perfection along side the bacon and the sourdough bread was on another level. The fresh juices they offer are a steal for the quality, complete burst of flavour in your mouth and the same goes for the coffee which is served in a cute glass! Perfect breakfast before our little one’s arrival! Will definitely be returning!"

I visited this restaurant with my cousin while we were waiting for our friends to finish their marathon. The place has a charming atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. We both ordered the breakfast brunch, which was delicious, and we enjoyed a latte and a tea with our meal. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't offer different syrup flavors for the lattes, like caramel. While the food was a little on the pricey side, it was definitely a nice breakfast. I would recommend it if you're looking for a good place to eat.

Didn’t plan on eating here in particular, we just happened to come across the place. So glad we did! The staff were very friendly and took our temperatures before we were seated. They were friendly, welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us, what a credit to the business! Myself and a friend ordered starts and mains mine are pictured. Well the food was fantastic and reasonably priced for the high quality we received. Naturally we both ordered dessert out of pure gluttony because the food was so good. Honestly, next time I visit Durham I will be going here for food before trying anywhere else. Thank you to all the staff there! 10/10.
