"Bread Street Kitchen is a nice little spot in St Pauls. Owned by Gordon Ramsay and straight opposite Jamie Oliver's Barbecoa. With these two right beside each other you feel spoilt for choice. We opted for Gordon's as we know one of the Managers and Waitresses from working other places. Without them being there, there place would be friendly. It is a grand space with high ceilings, ornate design, very airy and a massive bar offering. It is over a first floor and ground floor. Nice little areas inside to set up in. The downstairs, with a one chair corner for some alone time as you come up the stairs. The restaurant area, bar top and bar area. The bartenders have good cocktail knowledge and...read more"

"Maybe when people are arrive and you offer water for the table you should explain this is chargeable at £5.50. Also check your toilets more regularly as disappointed to find toilet roll cardboard and lady products on the floor. Food amazing though and highly recommend for the food alone!"

"We tried the early tasting menu (great value, book online beforehand). The food was beautifully presented and the portions were generous. They substituted all the meat dishes on the menu with vegetarian options, which were all incredibly delicious. The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff, especially a charming French waiter. The atmosphere was lively and the outdoor seating was lovely. We would definitely return."

"We had a great Sunday lunch at this restaurant, offering a choice of 3 meats and the option to serve ourselves vegetables. As someone with gluten intolerance, I was pleased to find that they offer a tasty gluten-free gravy. We made a reservation in advance to ensure they had it available. Overall, it was a good value meal."

"Had a lovely meal here yesterday 11th dec My friend ordered from set menu and said was delicious, had main sea bass and ohh Christmas dessert (which I had 2 and was amazing and so filling) Main menu had a lot of choices and I had a classic burger which was cooked right and delicious Wish you did the gin ginle bell cocktail in a mocktail version or festive mocktails for us none drinkers Also some of glasses seemed dirty and old still even when cleaned or replaced Be great if there was more festive decorations outside venue too"

"Fantastic food and great service. Cannot fault at all and I am hard to please. It was my fiancée's birthday, great place for a spaecial occasion. Could definitely not do this in a regular basis though as £250 for 4 of us I found quite steep!"

"Came for the groundless brunch with friends on Saturday. Absolutely amazing service from a gentleman called Chris. He was warm and welcoming and could not help us enough. The food was very tasty, a lot of choice and generous portions. Great value for money and a good location in Angel. Bills didn't disappoint and Chris deserves an increase!"

"Just over the road from Marylebone station, on the corner, this is a very small cafe in the traditional English style. The service however is anything but traditional, it is fast and efficient, even to the point of little order tickets. I ordered the breakfast special, at a fiver and fifty including tea or coffee it was the perfect medium breakfast. Bigger eaters will want to add a few extras to get the full English but regardless the prices are very reasonable for this part of London. The food is not fancy but it is good honest fare. You can't beat a good English breakfast on a winter morning and this cafe gives you that, without the hassle of places like Wetherspoons or the blandness of McDonalds. It is not the place for a quiet brunch but there is a comforting bussiness here."

"Nice food but pricey for portion size. The decor and surroundings of the restaurant were great. The staff also attentive on our visit. I had the pancakes with streaky bacon and a glass of cloudy apple juice. The food and drink did hit the spot. However, the price to portion ratio seems a bit stingy. 3 pancakes and at best 2 skinny bits of bacon for £8??? The £3+ glass of apple juice was small and my friends coffee could have been finished in two gulps. £26 all in for two people at breakfast. It’s definitely the most I’ve spent on breakfast in a while. Ultimately, I liked the food, but ultimately left feeling short changed."

"Superb apple crumble with that home cooked taste, topped with ice cream. Really nice after a ciabbata! I was going to get a latte but wanted another tea. The seating area is small but well worth the trip for the apple crumble, ice cream and tea! it is a small café so will fit a wheelchair but just although the entrance is not wheelchair accessible but the staff would accommodate by assisting. Tea is on point! Nice atmosphere and service!"

"Great atmosphere and excellent TV quality. The food was nice and good. All staff were very friendly. However, bar service seemed pretty slow. It was a busy evening, but often there were two or three employees who spoke to each other, and served a person who was a little annoying when you tried to watch a football match again. One of the bar employees did not seem to know how to pour beer, fill glasses with almost pure foam! That didn't happen to the other."

"I was at Bills in Chiswick, Ealing, Westfield (White City) and Kensington High Street, but the Chiswick is my favorite. I'm here four times now. 3 times for breakfast and 1 time for lunch. It is amazing on a sunny day as it is brightly lit. I usually have a garden breakfast and I love it. My wife has a gluten-free vegan brekfast and she loves her little. The staff is amazing and the floor manager is very warm. Many reasons to visit the place further."

"My wife and I came here to have breakfast. First, we noticed that the restaurant had a nice decor and it felt quite cosy, especially in comparison to other Bill’s restaurants in London. Second, the members of staff were very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Third, my wife had the smashed eggs on toast and I had the smashed avocado on toast with smoked salmon. As for pudding, we shared the pancakes with banana, strawberries and blueberries. To be honest, the food was quite decent like we’re used to so kudos to Bill’s to maintain the same quality across every location. Overall, a pleasant experience."

"Had planned to spend the night with work mates for leaving drinks and some grub. I had one drink and left…. Nice pub for locals, but not very welcoming for outsiders it seems. Pint of bitter I ordered (John smiths) was lively (fizzy after taste) so mentioned this to the bar man (owner) and even encouraged him to try it because he didn’t believe me. Got my drink replaced, and heard him mutter under his breath ‘that’s what you get with sh*t beer…..’ whilst playing to his locals audience who were scoffing. Not a positive environment that I’ll place myself in again and to be frank, **** rude to paying customers."

"Always great food whichever branch you go! I've been going to their Brighton and then their Exeter branches for many years, and been to Soho, Richmond and Wimbledon just recently during the Eat Out To Help out promotions. They are very accommodating and flexible for those that have food allergies. They are also one of the places carrying on with Help Out To Help Out during September 2020 albeit only with dishes from a specific set menu which has shrunk down in size compared to what was offered during August. I found a starter that I really liked on the EOTHO set menu but wasn't listed on the main menu and wanted (was happy the forego the discount of ordering 2 or 3 courses from the set menu) to order a main dish from the main menu but they were unable to accommodate this request due to the fact that their computerised till system would say no, that is the only reason I give a 4/5 rating otherwise a great experience."

"Be careful...if you book the seasonal set menu through opentable, make sure that they give you the right menu. This restaurant offered the wrong set menu (obviously not looking at my booking properly) and I was charged way too much. The manager did reduce the bill amount after I complained, but I could see he wasn't particularly happy about it, and noticed him roll his eyes/make comments with other staff when he thought we weren't looking. The food itself is actually quite good, especially for a chain restaurant and would visit another branch again."

"My daughter and I had lunch at United Kitchen. We enjoyed our meal very much. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was utterly delicious. It was prepared to perfection and presented in a way that tempted the senses. The atmosphere was relaxing and we were lulled by the low hum of conversation amongst the guests some of whom were there with children, some with dogs it is a dog friendly restaurant with a designated area for dogs some laden with shopping and others who displayed no obvious encumbrances like my daughter and me. The décor is modern and uncluttered giving a spacious yet comfortable and intimate feel to the restaurant. We enjoyed our meal and left vowing to return."

"Wellington exceeded our expectations! We stayed there on Saturday afternoon and the terrace was full. The terrace is located on a very busy corner, so people watch and energy is great. Many people sit outside and enjoy their drinks and a beautiful sunny afternoon. We sat at the top in their dining room and had a nice table at the window, overlooking the terrace from above. We ordered the Grilled Sea Bass with Chorizo, grilled paprika, baby potatoes and broccoli as well as the Chicken Portabello Mushroom Pie. The cake was good, but not great... Next time I would try another cake, probably the Steak Pale Ale cake. The grilled Sea Bass was however INCREDIBLE! So fresh, light and tasteful. One of the best dishes we had throughout our journey to Europe. Wash it with a Nicholson Pale Ale and a Pimm cocktail. A real British lunch!"

"If I could give a 3 and a half star I would! Myself and my guests did like the food, but there was room for improvement. I liked the seared tuna taco as I've never had that before and the avo on sourdough was nice. However we did recieve overcooked pancakes and a buttermilk chicken burger which lacked favour. I would go back and try the full English which looked great. There was a bit of a delay in the service but to be honest it was the bank holiday so that is fair enough! The cocktails were also nice"

"Love this place for a Sunday Morning Breafast! Was introduced to come here and now I'm doing the same. VERY POPULAR PLACE and would recommend booking here. Staff VERY Helpful and menus explained in detail by staff. IF you have never been here, please let the staff know! Busy location and the decor is relaxing with background music to suit all. Children are welcome and a VERY Family place to come and use ever as a meeting point. Disabled Access is very good with room for maneuver around tables too. Nice layout in all, unfortunately I can say what the Toilets are like as I never used them...price is a little on the expensive side, but you do get your money's worth here....ENJOY PEOPLE"
