A refreshing cocktail with prosecco and peach purée, perfect for a light, fruity drink.

"We 'd been meaning to go to Crafthouse for a while and finally managed it for a Sunday lunch on a blustery Sunday the offer was very reasonable compared to some prices £25 for 2 courses. We came up in the private elevator from the road a nice touch; but then were left waiting in a corridor for 5 minutes whilst staff rushed around a half full dining room, then taken straight to our seats in the bar side of the restaurant we would have had a view of Boar lane and South Leeds if the blinds across the windows hadn 't;t all been fully down I can appreciate there would have been some glare earlier in the day, but the sun had already set when we arrived and so half our view was of greige. Service was a bit 'by the numbers ' there was a set order they worked in and we wouldn 't be allowed to order food at the same time as a drink even though we were ready. Starters were OK cured salmon was tasty and well presented, though the accompanying slice of brioche looked a little mean and unevenly toasted; the prawn cocktail was very salty prawns with a limp and tired salad and not enough Marie Rose. Mains were where it all fell apart we were offered beef or lamb either well done or pink and both settled on well, as medium was not allowed; Both meats arrived rare, and though tasty were very tough and gristly cuts, with a lot of visible fat around and through the meat. Veg were OK, though didn 't;t feel particularly freshly cooked. With a (very good) rum old fashioned at £18 the total came to £76 including a 12.5% service charge. Ambiance was noisy, with some dance ish music a bit too loud for my tastes perhaps closing the door on the very noisy group in the glassed off 'private ' dining room would have helped. I 'm glad we went, but there are much better options for the price, or less don;t think we 'll return."

"Have my brother in law and his wife over from New York and they really wanted Italian food. Valentina's was ideal food was excellent, very accommodating for our 2 young children, service was out standing in general and not for a lot more than we would've spent in one of the pizza chain restaurants. The house wines are very good and very reasonable but the main wine list is very impressive."

"We have visited Thai Square several times before and have always had wonderful service and great food and drink . There used to be an amazing cocktail menu and the staff had always been so friendly and welcoming . On this occasion we were very disappointed to find that the drinks menu was very much reduced only cocktails and of those were not available) . The atmosphere in the restaurant was not at all The same as when we have visited before and the staff members seemed disinterested. The food , as always , was amazing ! Full of flavour and beautifully presented so we did enjoy our meal but the evening overall was not the one we had been Looking forward to . I would still recommend Thai square as I hope that our visit this time was a one off and that if we dine there again things will be back to how they always used to Be ."

"Incredibly disappointed by this restaurant. Far from representing a fine culinary experience, the food was completely average. A fillet steak ordered medium rarely was boiled medium and shrimps were overdone. The service was bad to enter the kitchen with my husband at one point, where all the staff spoke to ask for another glass of wine. Despite these problems, the bill for four people came to over £200, on a 3 course set Father's Day menu, when we had 2 glasses of wine, soft drinks and actually, for the 2 children, asked for only 2 courses. I was surprised to see that on the bill a tiny part of the set price menu for the children had been knocked 2 instead of 3, courses. I certainly do not recommend this place, it is overpriced and represents bad value for money. You'd better go to one of the excellent Gastro pubs in the area."

"Hi, I would strongly advise people to avoid black pepper. Although the food is of a average quality the service is DREADFUL as are the prices. Four people dining a 3 course meal came to £195. Money aside I ordered a piña colada, the cocktail tasted AWFUL, watered down to the extent it had no flavour, when I asked to change this for another the waitress caused a big grievance arguing that there is nothing wrong with the cocktail. As I had only one sip I insisted on sending it back, after this the attitude and service further deteriorated with our table being ignored service and receiving stone cold looks from the bar staff. Funnily enough I was still charged for the drink I did not have....read more"

"We both went for the beef and bird. The chicken was a bit overdone on the outside but the steak was perfect. You don't get veg apart from the mash so you might want to order those. Dessert was ok. I got pavlova (it was covered in defrosted frozen berries) and my other half got the cheesecake. Wine was just left on the table we weren't given the opportunity to taste it first. It was our anniversary and the waiter brought us a complimentary glass of prosecco each. A nice touch."

"Had the pleasure of dining here last week whilst staying in the hotel on business. I have used this restaurant in the past, however it has been completely refurbished since my last visit the improvement is incredible! The place looks amazing , however the biggest change came with the food itself. The menu is all new, and the improvement in quality is amazing. The Buratta starter was tremendous, but the seafood linguine WOW! Honestly one of the best pasta dishes I've had in a restaurant. The service was spot on friendly and attentive, but discreet too, they were never intrusive. Whether you're staying in the hotel, or happen to be in the South Bank area, I would strongly recommend dining here, you won't regret it"

"booking for 11:30 o'clock Sunday morning. only with brunch, which is normally not a problem, but the Brunch menu offers were a ridiculously small selection. a few real net parts and then a few pages. also, no one said that it was only brunch at the time of booking or confirmation (i.e. with someone on the phone for the confirmation.) the waiter, although really nice, seemed completely lost. we decided to wait until 12:00 for the lunch menu and had to ask a few more times to see the lunch menu so we can order in the location. the bratsirloin and fish and chips were great, but the pig was very dry. it was not very busy, but it seemed complete chaos. the other tables around us had problems getting someone to place ordering or to ask for additional items (also had to ask for salt and pfeffer, not already on the tables.) we often go there enough and it is usually very good. that was hopefully only a free day for everyone. will return definitiw. but if they only serve brunch until 12:00, there should be more. the summerhouse brunch menu brings this to shame."

"We visit Aqua in Bromley on a fairly regular basis. The staff are always extremely welcoming especially Dasos. We ordered three meze boards and one steak which were all delicious, followed by Irish and Baileys coffees accompanied by Baileys Creme brûlée’s and a poached pear, everything was superb as always and we left having thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Hand sanitiser was readily available, tables were as per government guidelines, we had a screen in between our table and the next and everybody wore masks to go to the facilities. Well done Dasos and your team, keep up the good work"

"This restaurant should be so much busier! It is great value compared to the chain restaurants in town. The decor is stylish, the staff are very friendly, the menu is great. I had duck breast with duck scotch egg and fondant potato, with side dishes of red cabbage (deliciously sweet and tart at the same time) and carrots with savoy cabbage, beans and broccoli. The scotch egg was so good, perfectly seasoned, runny vivid yolk. The duck breast wasn’t too rare or over cooked, so good. Then chocolate fudge cake with black cherries and ice cream, good combination! The fudge cake could have been a bit richer, gooey-er, but the cherries, sauce and ice cream made it 9/10. Generous cheese board too, no stingy slithers of cheese. Good plum chutney. About £90 for 2 courses for 2 with 2 drinks each."

"Booked for my husbands birthday. We have got engaged at this place 3 years ago so it was a lovely evening for us. The staff were very polite and helpful. We will definitely visit again. We also enjoyed the surprise birthday cake at the end. Delicious and elegant ambiance. Would recommend to anyone. Well done team!"

"Some of the best sea-food I have had. The fish is very fresh especially since a lot of it is locally sourced in the UK. The dishes are a mixture of British and continental and done to the highest standard. The restaurant has a menu of daily specials which are generally plucked from the fresh catch of the day, we tried these and thought they were very good indeed. <br/ <br/ It is easy to walk past this place on the high street as the shop front is actually a fishmongers and the restaurant entrance is actually from the back wall of the fish mongers. What I thought was also very cool about the place is that instead of ordering off the menu one can pick something from the fish mongers that you fancy and ask them to have that cooked as well. So a lot of fresh options !<br/ <br/ The location is of course quite convenient as well, situated right in the middle of marylebone high street. Certainly a place to go every now and then for a top notch seafood meal."

"I tried the afternoon tea, which was quite standard with four quarter sandwiches, a couple of cakes, and scones for two people. Unfortunately, the scones were a disappointment. The service was fantastic, though, and the atmosphere was lovely once we got used to it, especially after a few glasses of champagne!"

"Few visiting canary wharf would not have walked past it but rarely would have sat to have a drink or coffee. What a pity because it surely is a hidden gem! And why? You will most likely always find a couch which in canary wharf is quiet an exception where people jostle for space in packed pubs. It has happy hours from 6 7 each day which is surely unheard of in canary wharf. It is nice and warm and indoors a deal breaker in winter months. Serving time for a drink is less than 5 min. And last but not the least it has a nice vantage point with view of the food court of jubilee place. I am sure it is the closest pub from jubilee line and would beat even all bar one. Where it fails is the limited starter/ snack menu. The only option is slices of pizza. The dining menu is good but I doubt you will be dinning here given the numerous options downstairs. I would highly recommend this place if you haven 't been here."

"the other half for his birthday dinner. we went for the 2 curs and three course set menu on £15 and £18. it is valid from Monday to Thursday. that are definitely good value for money. for the head I had laughter and my man had superior to that. both were good, but I think the huh ran it tastefully. had the favorite for dessert, but I was so full that I could not appreciate it so much after the starter of parma ham and melons and the head. my other half had the white bait. I tried a piece, but it's not just my ding. he seemed to enjoy it. the no set menu has many choices, but is also pricier. the waiters were attentive, although the payment of the bill took a little longer than necessary, as it was not so busy. I will probably be back in the near future, but as I am a bargain hunter, will probably stay at the set menu"

"The restaurant had no record of our reservation, which made our special occasion less enjoyable as we had to wait while they scrambled to find us a table. After some time, we were seated at very low tables, which were not comfortable for dining in the afternoon. Overall, it was a disappointing experience."

"Shocking of a restaurant All I can say the food is overrated and its not worth the money I went with my wife, after reading the reviews. I had the chicken shawarma and my wife had Shish taouk. First of all the shawarma did not test like a tradional Lebanese dish, it had a weird texture look to it and it was a weird looking dish. All though my wife enjoyed her Shish taouk, both mains were not worth the price. Each costing with a half nan and abit of salad on the side. What a rip off, you get a small portion for that price They also charge for service charge, which to be honest should be waived off as the restaurant is already expensive as it is In all honesty we didn't get what we paid for. Been to so many restaurants and had better food and worth the price than this overrated restaurant. I hope they will change their price as well as their small and stingy portions They had a mix grill for all you get is wings, Shish taouk and lamb chop, I was like what a rip off To be honest the only thing I liked about this place is the deco and good customer service, other than that I will never come back here again."
