"This is our local Italian deli, with the restaurant to the rear of the shop. The food is never anything less than wonderful, We've eaten here a lot and never had anything but a great experience. The kids menu is small, but adequate with pasta and pizza on offer and it's possible to tweak the items. The calves liver is my personal favourite, but having eaten most things on the menu at some point, you really can't go wrong here."

"I was extremely disappointed with this restaurant. It fell far short of providing a fine dining experience, as the food was just average. The fillet steak I ordered medium rare was cooked medium, and the prawns were overcooked. The service was lacking, to the point where my husband had to go into the kitchen, where the staff were chatting, to ask for another glass of wine. Despite these shortcomings, the bill for four people totaled over £200, for a 3-course set menu on Father's Day. We only had 2 glasses of wine, soft drinks, and requested only 2 courses for the children, yet we were still charged for 3 courses. I was surprised to see such poor value for money, and I do not recommend this place. I suggest visiting one of the nearby excellent gastro pubs instead."

"Terrible Experience Unkind Staff and Poor Service I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this bar and restaurant was so frustrating that I feel compelled to share. From the moment we walked in, the staff were unwelcoming and seemed irritated by our presence. It felt like we were an inconvenience to them rather than valued customers. Our server was rude and dismissive, barely paying attention to our requests and acting like we were wasting their time. When we asked simple questions about the menu, they responded with a condescending attitude, as if we were bothering them. The entire atmosphere was uncomfortable, with no warmth or friendliness from any of the staff. To make matters worse, the food took forever to arrive, and when it finally did, it was mediocre at best. Combine that with the rude service, and it was easily one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I definitely won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant night out. There are plenty of other places where the staff actually care about their customers. Avoid this place if you want to enjoy your evening!"

"Hi, I would strongly advise people to avoid black pepper. Although the food is of a average quality the service is DREADFUL as are the prices. Four people dining a 3 course meal came to £195. Money aside I ordered a piña colada, the cocktail tasted AWFUL, watered down to the extent it had no flavour, when I asked to change this for another the waitress caused a big grievance arguing that there is nothing wrong with the cocktail. As I had only one sip I insisted on sending it back, after this the attitude and service further deteriorated with our table being ignored service and receiving stone cold looks from the bar staff. "Really nice decoration and food and staff were first class. A second night when I discovered that they also take flavor card. The food was served quickly and very nicely. "great place near waterloo train station to meet for food and a catch up. it was not quite sure in which building atrio was like the park plaza county hall opposite the park plaza it was in the former, there is also a bar down with tables for eating so thought that this was the restaurant. the restaurant was upstairs and not very busy. the waiting staff was really efficient and attentive and eating was easy, but made with big ingredients where the veg actually tasted by veg instead of water. was impressed by the simple menu and the taste of everything. the ambiente of the restaurant would be better suited than a place to go after meeting than a full in the night, but they could not mistake the food or service."

"The only downside to this restaurant was the noise level. We were seated at a small table in the middle of the room, which made conversation difficult. However, we loved the creative and tasty Brie bruschetta as an appetizer. The steak we shared was perfectly seasoned and cooked to our liking. Although it wasn't a traditional US cut of beef, we appreciated that it was not corn-fed for environmental reasons. The sticky toffee pudding for dessert was fantastic - warm, moist, but could have used more sauce. The service was attentive as well."

"Booking for 11:30 am Sunday morning. Only serving brunch, which isn't normally an issue, but the brunch menu offerings were a ridiculously small selection. A couple of actual mains and then a bunch of sides. Also, no one stated that there would ONLY be brunch on offer at the time of booking or confirmation (spoke with someone on the phone for confirmation). The waiter, while genuinely nice, seemed completely lost. We decided to wait until 12:00 for the lunch menu, and still had to ask a couple of times to see the lunch menu so we could order when able. The roast sirloin and fish and chips were great, but the pork was very dry. It wasn't very busy but seemed utter chaos. The other tables around us were having issues getting anyone over to place orders or ask for additional items (even had to ask for salt and pepper, not already on the tables). We go there often enough, and it's normally very good. This was hopefully just an off day for everyone. Will definitely go back. Suggest though that if they're only serving brunch until 12:00 that there should be more on offer. The Summerhouse brunch menu puts this one to shame."

"We arrived a few minutes before our 13:00 lunch reservation for 2 and waited by the door for someone to help us. After 5 minutes, I asked a waitress for assistance but she said she didn't speak English and would call the manager. Despite the manager noticing us from the bar area, we waited for another 5 minutes with no acknowledgment. As we waited, I witnessed an argument between the manager and a customer over a bill. It was clear that many tables had finished their meals and were becoming impatient with the lack of efficient service. One customer even warned me to think twice about eating there before leaving. The restaurant had a bad smell, likely from improper cleaning, and we were happy to leave without experiencing more."

"Not a great experience. Courtyard dining was nice given the weather and the food was reasonably priced if a little underwhelming. Service was a major let down. There were a handful of guests and the service team were slow to acknowledge us both upon arrival in the hotel and beyond. We were charged when placing the order, which is perfectly fine until we realised we were the only ones that had been charged upfront. Not sure of the rationale and probably wouldn't have been bothered until we were asked to pay again when leaving. For clarity, this was a business lunch and both of us were suited, not exactly looking the part to run off. Would have been happy for them to have approached and simply ask of we had paid rather than have someone ask from across the courtyard. Drinks arrived late, but to be fair food was served on time. Fortunately the company and conversation made up for a poor showing from the restaurant."

"This restaurant should be so much busier! It is great value compared to the chain restaurants in town. The decor is stylish, the staff are very friendly, the menu is great. I had duck breast with duck scotch egg and fondant potato, with side dishes of red cabbage (deliciously sweet and tart at the same time) and carrots with savoy cabbage, beans and broccoli. The scotch egg was so good, perfectly seasoned, runny vivid yolk. The duck breast wasn’t too rare or over cooked, so good. Then chocolate fudge cake with black cherries and ice cream, good combination! The fudge cake could have been a bit richer, gooey-er, but the cherries, sauce and ice cream made it 9/10. Generous cheese board too, no stingy slithers of cheese. Good plum chutney. About £90 for 2 courses for 2 with 2 drinks each."

"Lovely setting. Great atmosphere. However poor service spoiled the evening. Waited 30 minutes at our table to finally be asked what food and drink we would like to order. I ordered the fish and chips. However the chips were lathered in salt. The fish was certainly not value for money. Very small. More like a child's portion. After our food we had to wait over 30 minutes before I had to go grab a staff member to clear our table and ask for the bill. There was certainly enough staff to attend the few customers. However they were busy gabbing."

"Some of the best sea-food I have had. The fish is very fresh especially since a lot of it is locally sourced in the UK. The dishes are a mixture of British and continental and done to the highest standard. The restaurant has a menu of daily specials which are generally plucked from the fresh catch of the day, we tried these and thought they were very good indeed. <br/ <br/ It is easy to walk past this place on the high street as the shop front is actually a fishmongers and the restaurant entrance is actually from the back wall of the fish mongers. What I thought was also very cool about the place is that instead of ordering off the menu one can pick something from the fish mongers that you fancy and ask them to have that cooked as well. So a lot of fresh options !<br/ <br/ The location is of course quite convenient as well, situated right in the middle of marylebone high street. Certainly a place to go every now and then for a top notch seafood meal."

"We ate dinner at Coast to Coast last night and the management and staff were fantastic and could not have helped more even though they were very busy. The food is always very nice, we probably eat there once every few weeks, I've only ever had one bad meal in probably over 50 visits, even then it was changed immediately. Last night they put the wrong sauce on and it was changed immediately and without question, we got a complimentary drink. Cannot recommend highly enough. The only small groan is that with a change of menu they have taken off my favourite drink, an old fashioned, please bring that back!"

"Few visiting canary wharf would not have walked past it but rarely would have sat to have a drink or coffee. What a pity because it surely is a hidden gem! And why? You will most likely always find a couch which in canary wharf is quiet an exception where people jostle for space in packed pubs. It has happy hours from 6 7 each day which is surely unheard of in canary wharf. It is nice and warm and indoors a deal breaker in winter months. Serving time for a drink is less than 5 min. And last but not the least it has a nice vantage point with view of the food court of jubilee place. I am sure it is the closest pub from jubilee line and would beat even all bar one. Where it fails is the limited starter/ snack menu. The only option is slices of pizza. The dining menu is good but I doubt you will be dinning here given the numerous options downstairs. I would highly recommend this place if you haven 't been here."

"Table for four on a Thursday night, two of us had been before and enjoyed the food. Calf’s liver and mash..... no mash! Calf liver was undercooked although it was ordered cooked through. Slow cooked pork....not much taste and no crackling. Chicken pieces......a bit dry, not seasoned enough and served with a plane yoghurt dressing. We were not asked if we wanted any veg to accompany the meal. Starters were good."

"The manager needs to do a refresher course on customer service. The restaurant is suppose to be a Lebanese cuisine but had only Indian food as mains? Me and my friends had ordered mocktail and the drinks were literally half a glass, the drinks were overpriced in terms of how much we got. We ordered a shared Tapas and unfortunately it wasn't really sharing Tapas the portion sizes were very small. When trying to discuss this he came across quite arrogant and had very little listening skills. We were extremely upset the way he dealt with things so cancelled our main, however we didn't let this dampen our mood and went to the Turkish restaurant down the road and they really went out of their way to serve us good food, big portion sizes and gave us dessert which was in the house."
