"Ordered a takeaway for delivery. Food came minus the soup. Fine, mistakes happen... called Yumeijin to inform them and they said they would look into it. minute later a get a very rude guy on the phone claiming the soup was in the...delivery as he put in in there himself. He said I was basically trying to get further food from them. Upon at him ranting at me the delivery driver entered the restaurant and claimed she had accidently spilt the soup in the car!! No apologies what so ever from anyone. only ordered from here as my local Chinese was closed. Food luke warm and tasteless."

"This restaurant is highly popular and often fully booked. It was our first time visiting an Izakaya, so we were unsure of what to expect. However, the staff were very accommodating and patient. We opted to start with a few small plates and planned to order more if necessary. Fortunately, the portions were quite generous, so we didn't need to order any extra dishes. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I will definitely be making another reservation soon! Service: Dine-in."

"An amazing restaurant situated in Central MK. From stepping through the doors, Akasaka delivers with a beautiful bar and pink cherry blossom trees. The staff and service was fantastic exemplary from start to finish. We had the Karage Chicken, Spicy Tuna Rolls and Salmon Maki to start. The Tuna Rolls and Salmon Maki were brilliant, but the Karage chicken a little disappointing. It was the crispiest chicken I have ever eaten, but it wasn’t very flavoursome even with the dip. We followed this with Beef Bibimbap and Salmon Bibimbap. Both of these were brilliant the hot beef comes in a searing hot iron bowl and continues to sizzle the whole time you’re eating it! The flavour was fantastic and it was nice to be able to ‘self sauce’ to personal levels. We’ve had takeaway from here before, but will definitely come back to eat in also in the future!"

"Really enjoyed this food, especially the tandoori chicken (1/2 leg) and the chapati (which were very soft and a decent size). We also tried the kitchen special lamb which was unique and tasted very good. The only thing I would not recommend is the chicken korma, just not my taste, it was a little too sweet. And I would love it if there was some cut raw onion with the tandoori chicken. Otherwise, buying the food online then collecting it was very easy and I got a 10% discount ! "The atmosphere was delightful; we visited at 6:30 PM on a Saturday, and the crowd created a nice vibe. We also appreciated that Mustard offers Coke and lemonade by the pint, which is a rare find since most places only offer expensive tiny bottles. This is definitely a unique selling point for Mustard compared to other Indian restaurants! We were also pleased to see they have a 5/5 hygiene rating, and the dining area was exceptionally clean and inviting. All the staff were attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Initially, we planned to order online, but we decided to enjoy our meal in the restaurant. After browsing their website, I received a couple of phone calls from Runa, followed by a text offering assistance if we encountered any issues. This thoughtful attention made us feel welcomed and appreciated as new customers. We can't fault our visit and will certainly be back. Thank you all for providing us with a lovely evening!"

"We came here for evening meal on route to the North Yorkshire Railway Light Fantastic tour. Car parking was easy with a large carpark although bear in mind our satnav said the pub was up a no through road; in fact the pub was a little further along on the right. There is a wealth of outdoor seating available some of it sheltered should the weather be quite bad. Inside the pub is aesthetically very pleasing on the eye with a decent bar area, pool table off to the left; a large restaurant style seating area is off to the right. The staff were very welcoming showing us straight to our table, taking a drinks order and providing menus. We realised we hadn’t really left enough time to eat and make the railway tour; totally our fault. The wife had a quick word with the staff who put our food on a rush which was amazing of them. Sure enough food was served very quickly and we made the railway tour. The food itself was excellent quality, very tasty and decent portion sizes. The menu was varied and categorised nicely allowing for quick browsing. There were 2 options for vegetarians and a specials board as well. Free Wi-Fi was available with a password displayed at the bar. There is also a comfy sofa seating area just to the right of the bar. The pub is dog friendly which is a big plus for us. Based on this experience I would totally recommend a visit to this pub; I look forward to returning to try some of the other menu options. Food drinks: Great food"

"This is a great place to eat, but avoid at all cost ordering a takeaway, meal was an hour late and the meal arrived cold. The soup dish had spilled into the bag, so no soup. When I complained, there was zero comprehension that my evening had been disrupted and complete denial that the one of the meals was not edible I.e. it was in a bag. The owner avoided at all costs to speak with me and simple shut me down with an I don't care attitude. She needs to try harder one star. In addition, the staff that took the compliant laughed and mocked my complaint as they out the phone down."

"Had a great experience at super sushi which we went to for the all you can eat sushi buffet which was halal. We got greeted with smiles and the staff were very welcoming. Once ordered, the food came quite quick where it was only 5 mins or so and we got all 6 dishes we ordered at the same time too. They have a variety of hot food and cold food and you can pick up to 6 dishes per order on however many orders you want! Only down side I would say is that there is no dessert options included and you’d have to pay extra for it. But overall, had an amazing experience and highly recommend if you’re looking for a halal all you can eat sushi restaurant! Will go again for sure. Vegetarian options: A lot of veggie options Dietary restrictions: Halal and vegetarian options widely available Kid-friendliness: Nice atmosphere for kids, as they have displays and stickers around the restaurant"

"I came here to celebrate my birthday on Thursday. I couldn’t not leave a review. The service was so wonderful, warm and welcoming. Your front of house team couldn’t do enough for us and made my birthday meal feel so special, especially the lady with the blonde hair (and stripy t-shirt) … thank you so much for such fantastic service and especially for being so lovely with my little boy. We got to try the new summer menu and it really did exceed expectations! The salmon and cream cheese arancini were better than the ones I tried in Sicily! I only wish I had room for dessert. Compliments to the chefs, everyone’s food was exceptional. Just a really really impressive evening and I can’t wait to come back. Thank you!"

"Found this place by chance, when the Indian we booked into online had actually closed down…so we followed the relocation directions to Tanon…and so glad we did! The food was amazing! I had sweet corn fritters to start followed by tofu green curry, my husband had prawn toast followed by chicken catsu curry, with a side of Thai prawn crackers…couldn’t fault the food…it was outstanding, along with a nice relaxed atmosphere, fantastic friendly and fast service…we wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend…so glad the Indian was closed, what a find!!!"

"We came her for a family reunion, just 5 of us, we have been a number of times and always enjoyed it. Thursday night was no exception, our cousins had never been before and they really loved it. Good hot pub food, well cooked and presented. My husband asked for mustard and they had none, so the Manager said 'I will nip out to the shop and get some, our suppliers are struggling at the moment ', and she actually went out and got some mustard which they had only just run out of, what a lovely caring person. Yes we do love coming here for an informal family meal, thanks so much for the hospitality."

"came here on saturday 14th october 2023. my son had an accident in the dragons den. there was a hole in the netting on the upper level in the under 4s section my son somehow managed to fall through ad was trapped behind the playarea. i couldnt get to him as the zips on the panels at the back had padlocks on them. i took a considerable amount of time for them to get my son out so understandable my son and myself were very distressed. There was many parents that witnessed this and tried to help of which a few have told me the staff were rude and uninterested on helping and continued to serve other customers before coming to help. the day after this happened there was another incident at a childrens party where there were mice runing around the childrens play area. the woman who booked the party rang in the morning after seeing a post i had made about my sons accident as she wanted to make sure the area was safe... to which she was told that i was drunk and didnt know the different between a hole and a zip my son didnt fall he let himself through the zip.... absoloute disgusting behaviour to try and use any a=excuse to cover up the fact they were in the wrong. formal complaint has been made !!"

"We took our friends for a Bento box lunch on Thursday. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal as we usually do. We will come again very soon because all the menu is lovely. I would like to conclude by saying that the restaurant staff, especially Nancy (who we all felt went that extra mile to make everything fun and enjoyable) where very welcoming. We would all recommend lunch at Mannings to our friends. Tom Hall. Service: Dine in"

"I was looking for a nice place to enjoy a meal with a lovely atmosphere, and a friend recommended The Wild Duck Inn, so I decided to give it a try. I was truly impressed by this restaurant. It had a warm and welcoming vibe, beautifully decorated in a way that made you feel the history of the building. The food was absolutely outstanding, but what really stood out was the staff. Our drinks and food were served promptly, and the waitress was incredibly attentive, making sure we were well taken care of. The menu offered a good variety of choices at reasonable prices. I’m already planning my next visit and will be bringing friends with me. If I could give more than five stars, I definitely would!"

"We were disappointed with our visits to this restaurant because it was closed both times we went. I even called ahead and was told they were open, and their website said they were open. However, when we arrived, they were closed. It is frustrating that they said they were open on the phone when they were actually closed. They should update their website to accurately reflect whether they are open or closed. It was a waste of money on taxi fare to get to the restaurant on both occasions. As for the food, I would rate it a 2 out of 5."

"Soya Woking Overall We visited there last week during Easter Holiday. Not very busy when we arrived here so you don’t need to book the table if you want to have dinner in there. We order: Superior Platter Including:8 Pcs sashimi, 8 pcs nigiri, tobiko gunkan, 8 pcs tuna avocado rolls; Served with miso soup. And they gave us one extra miso soup for us which is very welcome and very friendly! The whole thing is very delicious and very filling. And the price is amazing and worth to pay. All sashimis are great and taste fresh. Kimchi pancake A little bit too dry and some of the pancakes are a bit burnt in another side. Korean Spicy Crispy Squid Spicy crispy Squid is my all time favourite! "

"Highlights: Booked the Christmas Lunch menu for 8 people, Pre Ordered. Arrived and no Christmas Lunch was available. Ordered from the Sunday Lunch menu instead. Waited ages for the food, which did not come out at the same time. Quality of the food was actually good but it 's not an experience I wish to repeat. Complained numerous times. No idea who was responsible probably never find out. 5 weeks ago I made a phone booking for 8 people for the Christmas Lunch menu. I visited in person 3 weeks ago with a Pre Order of our food choices and provided written confirmation of the booking (and paid a £10 per head deposit . Imagine my surprise when I turned up to find we would not be provided any of the Christmas lunch we had ordered. The reason the Kitchen (which is run as a separate business!! had recently been changed to new management. I enquired why had nobody thought to contact me after all I have provided a written booking well according to the Bar Manager that was someone 's fault but not hers, but she would investigate. We were offered the Sunday Lunch menu instead. We asked to see the menu and had a mobile phone thrust forward as, at the time, they hadn 't got any physical menu 's. The starters were all fish seafood related. 3 of the party decided to select the white bait. We wanted to order our Mains at the same time but the Server never came back. After waiting 40 minutes I returned to the Bar Manager and asked why we were waiting so long. She visited the Kitchen and was told they were just plating them up, and they did arrive shortly thereafter. After Starters were consumed we were able to order our Mains. We feared this may also take some time to appear...and we weren 't disappointed. About 40 minutes later the Server came out with one meal, and we had high hopes the remaining 7 meals would come out rapidly thereafter. No, but another table did receive their order. Our 'lucky ' diner almost finished their meal before the rest of us were able to start to enjoy ours. 15 minutes from 1st meal to last meal. The Roast we had was good quality, well cooked and extensive. If we wanted Salt, Pepper, Napkins, Sauces etc that wasn 't on offer, but available if we asked! We had intended to have a Desert but as we 'd already been there 2 hours and none of us could stand the thought of waiting another prolonged period for the final course we decided to call it a day. I returned to the Bar and asked for an itemised Bar bill, which I got and checked, and paid it. When I turned around the Server was next to me thrusting her card reader at me. I said I wanted an itemised bill and she disappeared. When she re appeared she had written the items we had ordered on her pad and the prices for each. I agreed to pay some of the Food bill (2 3rds but not the full bill. I explained the reasons for my decision to the Server and the Bar Manager. In view of the issues I experienced I asked to speak to the Owner. I was told he was not available so I asked if he would call me to discuss my experience, hence I have waited 2 days expectantly for his call before publishing this review. I 'm pretty certain that I 'll never get a call but I wouldn 't be surprised if he replies to this review with some rubbish. If anyone has ever visited a pub restaurant where you are told they operate as 2 separate businesses please let me know...and I 'll avoid it like the plague!"
