"came here on saturday 14th october 2023. my son had an accident in the dragons den. there was a hole in the netting on the upper level in the under 4s section my son somehow managed to fall through ad was trapped behind the playarea. i couldnt get to him as the zips on the panels at the back had padlocks on them. i took a considerable amount of time for them to get my son out so understandable my son and myself were very distressed. There was many parents that witnessed this and tried to help of which a few have told me the staff were rude and uninterested on helping and continued to serve other customers before coming to help. the day after this happened there was another incident at a childrens party where there were mice runing around the childrens play area. the woman who booked the party rang in the morning after seeing a post i had made about my sons accident as she wanted to make sure the area was safe... to which she was told that i was drunk and didnt know the different between a hole and a zip my son didnt fall he let himself through the zip.... absoloute disgusting behaviour to try and use any a=excuse to cover up the fact they were in the wrong. formal complaint has been made !!"

"A simply beautiful establishment with a warm homely feel all round. So glad we booked to have food here this evening. The food was simply fantastic, the beef wellington was absolutely spot on. Staff were very attentive and friendly and all food for us was on point. Beautifully decorated within and the open fire finished off the country pub feel to it. We all left very happy with our experience. We will definitely visit again in future. Service: 5"

"Ordered a takeaway for delivery. Food came minus the soup. Fine, mistakes happen... called Yumeijin to inform them and they said they would look into it. minute later a get a very rude guy on the phone claiming the soup was in the...delivery as he put in in there himself. He said I was basically trying to get further food from them. Upon at him ranting at me the delivery driver entered the restaurant and claimed she had accidently spilt the soup in the car!! No apologies what so ever from anyone. only ordered from here as my local Chinese was closed. Food luke warm and tasteless."

"I 've had issues with this establishment since day one but avoided saying much due to having friends employed there. We have had some awful meals here, they don 't follow the law on weights and measures act, they don 't display documents which they are legally required to do. They hire staff who harass underage girls who also work there, head chefs previously have been cocaine addicts and worked under the influence. I was verbally assaulted by a member of kitchen staff prior to a trial shift I was supposed to have there, I declined my trial shift after this and have not stepped foot back there since. Myself and my husband decided to pop in tonight for one final drink on his birthday to be informed we were barred, when we questioned this with the new supervisor who had not met us he cleared it up and said we could come back as long as I didn 't slate them on Facebook again I have made comments about negative experiences I have had there which I am in my right to do but never have I made false accusations about the venue or staff. The response to a complaint should ALWAYS be a sorry and work to rectify it, not to bar a customer for being rightfully upset. From being regulars with good relationships with staff and other customers to feeling bullied, ignored and pushed out for falling victim to verbal attacks is appalling. To sum up, disgusting management, law breaking and bullying, no doubt I will be barred for this but good riddance, I 'm happy to not step foot in here again. "I loved the first experience of Japanese food. Great atmosphere and accommodating friendly staff. Apparently this business grown from street vendor/pop up. So lovely to see how this business has grown. But back to the food. The soft shell crab not for me again BUT it was tasty in the Bento box, just my perception of the whole crab (I absolutely do love all sea food including crab and squid). I love rabbit but the whole crab I found difficult to eat. I would eat the Chicken and tofu bento box my colleagues had. Loved octopus balls, ha ha and topped off with Japanese beer. That's it. A lovely meal, experience, evening, thanks"

"Really enjoyed this food, especially the tandoori chicken (1/2 leg) and the chapati (which were very soft and a decent size). We also tried the kitchen special lamb which was unique and tasted very good. The only thing I would not recommend is the chicken korma, just not my taste, it was a little too sweet. And I would love it if there was some cut raw onion with the tandoori chicken. Otherwise, buying the food online then collecting it was very easy and I got a 10% discount ! "This is a great place to eat, but avoid at all cost ordering a takeaway, meal was an hour late and the meal arrived cold. The soup dish had spilled into the bag, so no soup. When I complained, there was zero comprehension that my evening had been disrupted and complete denial that the one of the meals was not edible I.e. it was in a bag. The owner avoided at all costs to speak with me and simple shut me down with an I don't care attitude. She needs to try harder one star. In addition, the staff that took the compliant laughed and mocked my complaint as they out the phone down."

"Food is okay, location is nice, but lady MANAGER attitude is HORRIBLE. She was unpleasant, uninviting, just simply rude and ruined our entire experience. That was our second and last visit as on both occasions the lady manager was so rude and spreading her negative energy. She made us feel not welcomed. "So firstly, I’m sorry for having to write this but I feel it’s 100% necessary. We opted for the sharing starter, it was oily, no flavour, not cooked properly, presented like a child had put it together genuinely (and I mean this) worse than 3rd world standards. We also had coloured prawn crackers tasted stale, oily and unpleasant. For mains : My friends chicken pad Thai was passable just. For mains I ordered the lamb Massaman (I ordered this when I ordered starters, otherwise I would have left right away but I wanted to give the place a chance) Surprise surprise this was also a shambles, a few new potato’s cut in half no flavour or care , the lamb was all the off cuts and the sauce was like a soup. Genuinely revolting. Had 2 bites and called it a day. We complained and only paid for drinks, had a bad stomach all evening. (Not surprised) : To the owner I’d strongly suggest firing your chefs and evaluating how the company is run, how this place has any ratings over 1 star is beyond me but I guess everyone has different standards. Until this place has had some serious alterations done, I wouldn’t Recommend to anyone. On the plus side, the outside of the building is pretty. Again, I’m sorry but this was the worst food I’ve ever had (I eat out 3 4 times a week) Should you wish to contact me, please feel free to do so. Thanks"

"We are so happy to find quality Japanese food in Swansea! A pleasant surprise to pass by and see this place after shopping on record store day. It was lunch time and the place was empty. Very glad we gave it a go as it was delicious. I recommend the melt in your mouth fresh hamachi sashimi. I have regular cravings for Japanese food so we’ll be back often, and whenever we record shop down the road. Two of my favourite things-records Japanese food right next to each other! Happiness!"

"My son and I wandered into Ke Sushi looking for a quick bite to eat following an afternoon at the rugby. We noticed immediately that it was authentically Japanese the menu was written in English and correct Japanese characters. Most importantly, there are no non Japanese items on the menu. The quality of the food is excellent. The slicing of my sashimi was a bit rustic but it tasted superb especially the fatty tuna. Mixed tempura was also done really expertly (although I did have to ask the waitress for the grated mooli which would normally be served with the accompanying dip). My son's cold soba noodles also had him praising their preparation. All finished off with a couple of flasks of hot sake. Really very good and well worth a visit."

"I cannot recommend this place enough! I came in with my daughter's the other day, one of which has severe food allergies. The lady/s behind the bar and the chef were outstanding with their service. Not only did the chef cook exactly what we wanted, he went above and beyond to make sure there was no cross contamination, and even offered to help make future meals more appealing for my daughter, since her meals are very plain and basic. It's the first time in 11 years we have received such amazing service. The atmosphere was great, beautiful place and the prices are fantastic. My daughter was chuffed to bits with her meal, and our meals were gorgeous too. What a blessing to be able to take my daughter our for a meal with no worries. Thank you so much! "Nice eaterie in the heart if ingatestone, Essex. Food ok. I gave a 4* as i found it really expensive for what we had. Ordered the lobster sushi for £20 but honestly couldnt taste any lobster at all. Soft shell crab was also a little overcooked. I eat this all the time and cook myself, so I am pretty experienced in this delicacy. Would return but would probably be more conscious of the prices. Cocktails were nice and really reasonable Vut what i did like is outside on the patio area. It's dog friendly, so you can bring your furry friend with you. LOVE THIS!"

"Arrived in a group of six. Ordered our food. One of the choices we chose was not available which we were then told about so we changed our choice everything was okay. We was sat waiting for our food. All the food came out apart from one meal then Sat and waited 10 minutes for the last meal to come out to them be told they don't have any left this could have been said to us when ordering but it wasn't, as you can imagine it is not very nice for five people to be sat there all eating and one person not be eating. We then asked if there was any sort of complementary drink that could be offered as a form of compensation to then be told no. Sorry we cannot do that. Overall, the service was not very good and will unlikely be returning"

"So I’ve been a big advocate for this place but I have to say after last night. Sumo is now a no go for me! I ordered my normal, sweet and sour chicken and jasmine rice. First bite, I crunched into something that I thought wasn’t very nice? I then looked and inspected the chucked which was dark grey at best, I then removed a horrible piece of dark bone and some type of cartilage that was it, enough to put me off my meal. On inspecting the other pieces of chicken I wasn’t very impressed. My partner orders the duck boa bun, there was duck but literally nothing else, no copper spring onion or anything else they just have ran out. I rang up to complain, the person I spoke to said he’d ring the owner and get back to me but they didn’t. Plenty more places to try but that’s us done coming here. Unfortunately my experience then put everyone off their food so it all ended up in the bin!"
