"This is a great place to eat, but avoid at all cost ordering a takeaway, meal was an hour late and the meal arrived cold. The soup dish had spilled into the bag, so no soup. When I complained, there was zero comprehension that my evening had been disrupted and complete denial that the one of the meals was not edible I.e. it was in a bag. The owner avoided at all costs to speak with me and simple shut me down with an I don't care attitude. She needs to try harder one star. In addition, the staff that took the compliant laughed and mocked my complaint as they out the phone down."

Ordered food and it shows up over 2 hours late. I’m never ordering from or going to them ever again. Very unhelpful customer service, did not offer any freebies or discount to make up for the delay

Taken my parents and friends here a few times and never disappoints. the food is always excellent and the service second to none. while it can be quiet its a hidden gem in the centre of town well worth a try. look forward to returning soon

Ooshii is always excellent. Superb quality sushi. Also excellent chicken teriyaki, chilli squid, chicken gyoza. We had really tasty yaki soba too. Also the desserts were lovely especially the mochi. The staff are friendly and efficient. I have always found the standard of food here consistently excellent and very authentic sushi and sashimi. View menu

Thanks so much Elle and team for the amazing sushi and japanese food. Having been to Japan it felt authentic, the food was fresh, tasty and there was a nice range of different types of sushi to select from plus some great tempura and sashimi too. The vibe in this little gem of a place is great, and being right in middle of Hertford, with free parking I might add within a short walk, it is somewhere I will come back to again and again.

If you want to wow your friends, bring them here! Elle and her team are turning out exceptional food. I eat here regularly and have yet to experience any reduction in quality. It’s often very busy, so sometimes you might need to wait an extra couple of minutes for your drinks, however people need to understand that lots of little dishes take more time to deliver to the tables than one main plate (as per other cuisines) and the staff work really hard to satisfy everyone. 10/10.
