"Food ok but not Stellar Artichoke and truffle salad small, zucchini frites a bit limp and venison main very small sea bass perfect Service really slow 50 mins from sitting to starters…having chased Not worth the 15% service charge added Private event was going on one suspected we were second fiddle Room had really bad draft in it bordering on cold Table next to us had to be reseated as they were too cold No idea why they went for open kitchen style in such a small dining room but when the kitchen staff and chef calling out orders is louder than the guests that’s an issue Probably won’t return"

"a very special and romantic place worth visiting. everything from service to eating was from highest standard. the attentive and careful staff were fab, eating was delicious and fascinating. my partner enjoyed his vegetarian options on the tasting menu. the facility was well maintained to make them feel as if they are in a rustic, dated and totally enticing heart. we had been happy that we made our reservation on the day of our visit, but I would highly recommend booking well in advance, as a pre-booked taxi service is essential to along the charming winding and narrow roads."

"Made in Brasil is one of the restaurants close to Camden markets that help you practice some serendipity. It has a tiny entrance and a Brazilian flag that may make you think it is a continuation of Camden markets. But the restaurant is not that tiny and it has got two floors. On 1 level there usually is a band that plays Brazilian music I wish they sang more, but usually the show is quite tiny and a DJ that also plays Brazilian music, after the band is gone. Brazil is enormous and so is the diversity of food of the country. Made in Brasil will provide you with some very typical dishes not everything, as expected. It will, certainly, give you a taste of Brazil. Whatever you order in Made in Brasil will really be prepared in the most Brazilian way it does not feel as if you are eating Brazilian food abroad, which is great. The peticos the Brazilian 'tapas ' are great. I have tried the cheese bread, the cassava chips (lovely , pastel de queijo, bolinho de bacalhau (cod fishcake , the coxinha (chicken pastries, a classic Brazilian street food and the picanha on grill. They are ALL worth a try: well prepared and very Brazilian type. As main dish all friends had the feijoada (a Brazilian typical dish made with black beans and pork meat, usually eaten on Saturdays or Sundays in different cities in Brazil, mostly in the southeast : it just felt like home. The feijoada portion is great (do not exceed on starters: you may not be able to finish your main course if it is feijoada . For desert we all had the brigadeiro (mainly condensed milk and cocoa powder and one of them had the Brazilian creme caramel. Brazilian deserts are sweet, but they were yummy, notably the brigadeiro. For drinks, you will have the most traditional options: from Guaraná Antartica (a typical soft drink you MUST try if you haven 't to different types of caipirinha and caipiroska. It is crowded most times, however. But it is worth a try! Very lively! :"

"We have had three meals at this restaurant (before and after Covid) and have also ordered takeout twice to try a variety of items on the menu. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, with friendly staff and quick service. Standout dishes include the cauliflower popcorn, buffalo soldiers (halloumi), burgers, corn, and fries (both regular and ranch). The sauces and portion sizes are top-notch. On a recent visit with a vegan friend, we found that the fillings in the tacos were small and the fries were more like chips with mayo. This was disappointing as it was the only negative experience we've had at the restaurant. While there are several vegan-friendly options on the menu, it would be great to see more variety for vegans and larger portion sizes."

"came here for my sister's 40th birthday parties to taste the intless brunch! beautiful restaurant, loved the hauch that the pianist play as they eat. the set menu was simple, but with some excellent choices. I had to start the smoked laughs and burger for the most general portions for both! the burger was cooked to perfection. the drinks were really groundless! we had a lot of prosecco. I also had a fab **** mary, and the heavenly bells were beautiful. the personal was fantastic! our waiter was attentive and certain that all 13 of us were well looked after. I would highly recommend this restaurant. at £40 a head for fabulous food service, they can't mistake it."

"I made a reservation two weeks in advance for Mother's Day and went with a picky eater who wanted to see the menu beforehand. When I called to inquire about the menu, I was assured that there was no special menu and what was shown on the website was correct. However, upon arrival, we were given a special menu with no vegetarian options and all items were double the price of the regular menu. The food was good once it arrived, but the service was terrible. We were seated in a separate room and waited 20 minutes for a menu, which I had to seek out from the waitress. We finally received menus for 4 people, but no drinks menu. After another long wait, I had to locate the waitress again to inquire about wine options. The service continued to be slow and disorganized throughout the meal. When we were ready to pay, there was no one available to assist until I approached the kitchen. The waitress seemed distracted and took a long time to process the bill. If it weren't for my elderly mother, I would have left earlier. Despite the good quality of the food, I would not return or recommend this restaurant until their service improves significantly. If you're looking for a place to simply grab a drink at the bar, this might be a better option."

"Visited the Angel Hetton recently and have mixed feelings. We were aware the Angel had changed hands but didn 't fully appreciate the TOTAL change we were going to. Anybody who previously loved the Angel Inn must realise this has now gone both in ambience, decor, staff and food. The Angel Hetton is a totally different place, the decor is now wood, concrete, grey, sparse and I have to say a little cold. The Bar top is an absolute amazing piece of art work and the new wooden bench seating with funny built in seat pads is somewhat uncomfortable but functional. We had lunch through in the Restaurant which has not changed layout but again the colour pallet is now grey...... grey, grey, grey! The atmosphere even though it was busy was hushed and just lacking, maybe we came on an off day? The menu is small and very 'fine dining ' focused, the food was wonderful and all our party enjoyed each course, you will no longer find any 'Old Angel ' favourites like 'Money Bags ' or 'Sticky Toffee Pud ', the dishes now are small, perfectly formed, and there is the presence of foam which always amuses me when I dine at fine dining establishments. Staff are pleasant and efficient, the lady sommelier was very good and had a lovely bubbly disposition. Would I return? Yes but probably in the evening and with the knowledge that the Angel is now a modern, fine dine restaurant rather than the warm, comfortable good food Inn it used to be. Price wise there isn 't a great deal of difference but some of the party did go off the lunch set menu. We were away in an adult group, I would bring my children here but they are over 12 years old, I would not be overly comfortable bringing young children here as I have in the past though. The food is something special and will surely encourage a new breed of diners to the Angel, I will be interested to see its future development."

"Pinkberry is definitely my favorite frozen yogurt spot in London. Many others in the city seem to melt into a frothy, artificial mess, which I find unappetizing. However, it's more than just a place for froyo."

"we liked bybrook. it had a nice feeling and it fits well into the hotel that is a century old house. so there is much dark wood; many stained glass windows. there are also generously dimensioned tables, with a lot of space between. and there are comfortable chairs – an important aspect when they will spend some time sitting on them. the employees of the servier staff as well as a team and all the delays we have experienced were almost safe on problems in the kitchen. the current personal problems of the restaurant are known and the consequences must be accepted. to end september, a “a la carte” menu is offered in addition to a tasting menu. after that there is only the tasting menu. I understand why a restaurant could do this – it reduces costs and makes living easier for the kitchen team – but it is not necessarily progressing. Perhaps they have already begun to change to the new model – we ordered from the war basket, but the most important price sub-sizes were not generous, even for his Michelin star status. the card offers three options at each cursor and shoots out with a few kanapes. a smoked cod teat was filled with taste and for the other one a mousse bead was covered with a beetroot glaze and served on a spoon. we chose both the same starter – effektiw lobster “three possibilities”. it was recommended that a lobster bisque be drunk from its small cup, but also suggested that it could be used as a sauce for the other elements. there is a single bite of lobster in a tempoura battery with a dab of mayo to it in. and the “main event” – a poched lobster tail with thin cut fennel and a tiny gurke. each element was Spot-on and they all worked well together. in the current mode brot was served as curs in his own right. a mini leaf and butter was good. for a main course was the line caught braut, um, brunette. and for seasonal eating. a mussel mousseline was filled into a courgette flower, and a scattering of fertilizers and drilling just added to the summeriness. the other main course was definitiw the tasting of menu conditions. the kind they might have wondered if they would need a visit in the local chippy on the way to home. that was ryeland lamb from near herefordshire. there is a tiny boned velvet, a cube-long cooked shoulder a cube of kartoffel and a teaspoon size dab each of the cauliflower pure and black garlic pure. it cost everything really well, but they really needed more. for dessert went one of us with a classic paris brest – two layers of baked made a sandwich of coffee cream, with a hazelnut palette and, separately served, a milcheis. cheese on the other side of the table – six local. the likes of bath blue and montgomery cheddar, served with very unlocal membrillo and caramelized feigen. very thin nuts and seeds cracker were a beautiful crisp. the petit four we had with coffee were excellent. a single bit of lemon sponge cake and a chocolate “cigarr” covers a passion fruit puree. good contrast and, unlike many places, actually good to work with the coffee and show the ability of the baked cook."

"It has been a long time since I last visited the Latymer following a less than impressive first visit there. At that time of my first visit, the restaurant had Michelin star but was subsequently promoted to stars a few years later. I do think it is unfair to pass judgement on a restaurant based on a solitary visit (or two… or three for that matter) but I had very little incentive to revisit anytime soon despite living only minutes away from Pennyhill Park given that I could just as easily get down to London where there are a myriad of dining options available. However, my fiancée has been very keen to try this restaurant so I booked a table on a rainy...read more"

"We had an absolutely stunning meal at the Bybrook Restaurant. It's not often that we can afford to go out to a fancy restaurant and thankfully it did not disappoint on any level. We both went for the tasting menu and every course was flawless, the portions were also just the right size. It was my girlfriend's birthday dinner, and she was brought out a little sign saying happy birthday, which was a really nice touch. The staff were professional and knowledgeable, if a little overly formal, although I'm sure that's what's generally expected from clients in such an upmarket hotel and restaurant. Overall, it was a brilliant experience from beginning to end, and I wish we could visit every month!"

"fantastic evening of super eating and drinking, party with friends after a long time apart. we booked the private dining room at the back of the restaurant. everyone loved the tasting menu, most of them had the accompanying wee. we liked the service that was really friendly, smooth, relaxed and inconspicuous, never wait for anything or wanted (and they even let us put on our own music in the background, in our own room. that was a nice note. here are some pictures of what we had. the food was nice, from the brot (so delicious and warm! and the opening of snacks directly at dessert, cheese course, coffee and petit four. go and enjoy a nice night out!"
