"I visited this place for the first time after changing the location of what would originally be the c* %a on the road. I was greeted by a lovely lady with a mysterious smile. my workmate and I choose a seat, and were asked what we want to drink, the one (I did not ask their names) was very helpful in the description of the different types and sizes of coffee that they could supply, I calm down on one of them and they turn into what seemed like a very fast fashion. the coffee was just after my taste and although I would normally not have two coffees in a row, at that time I did it. I would recommend the nutmeg caffe to one and all."

"Super lovely staff and restaurant. Vegan brunch plate was amazing, as well as the English breakfast sandwich! Vegan hollandaise sauce was to die for. Juices were fresh and delicious Had the carrot cake to finish off and that was great! Didn't look at the whole menu in detail but I think they're full vegan now! Would double check to make sure."

"It's lovely to have a decent pub within a short distance of home with a very good range of local real ciders, I think Cambs and East Anglian ciders can give west country and Welsh ciders a run for their money these days and there's a good selection available in the Hare Hounds. Bar staff, regulars and locals all very friendly. A good sized garden too, so if you're still a bit cautious on the covid front, there's plenty of outdoor space. My partner is a real ale drinker and enjoys the regularly rotating range of ales on offer and finds them to be served in good condition too. I've dined there on a couple of occasions as well and the quality of the food is very good. Booking for a Friday evening dining is essential as a lot of people regularly come for fish and chips that night. Keep up the good work, Tom and team, you're doing a great job."

"I’ve been to this pub a few times and I finally got round to writing a review. I mean it when I say that this is the best pub in Sussex, it has everything you’d want, a traditional pub style, lots of parking, amazing food and lovely staff. My latest visit was as a group of 12 people for a friends birthday and our servers Lisa and David were great very attentive and made us feel very welcome even on a busy Saturday. They never got impatient with us even when we were splitting the bill 12 ways or getting indecisive when ordering food. I cannot recommend this pub enough, the menu is huge with amazing specials every time I visit with traditional options as well as lots of unique options, everything I have tried in my 4 or 5 visits has been delicious. The pub is also surrounded by lovely countryside so there are plenty of options if you want to go for a walk before lunch."

"on Sunday at 1230 a.m. to be at bucklers to celebrate the vatertag. in contrast to Mother's Day, this was not considered as the analogue to the Mother and Mimosas event. please, that we had booked. besides our table was the caffe full. good atmosphere, beautiful music in the background. place is small but beautifully decorated. service was good and the food was excellent. I ordered tofu hatch with extra halloumi and a pot tee. the food was well presented and was very tasty, beautifully spiced. the tee was excellent. unfortunately no place for dessert. my first visit would go back to Definitiw."

"we have now stopped at this place twice. for the first time, eating was very good, but the staff was rude and unwilling. I thought my assessment was unjust, so I returned and the employees and the hire were a million times worse at the second visit. it was quite clear that they had stopped serving food, why they didn't just say that. they have a waitress that is aloof and rude. they did not labor to tell us what food was available and were uninterested when we asked about what they have. several options have not been served anymore. it was clear that they prefer to serve locals, and I wouldn't advise anyone to go there. it is clear that they only want a certain client in their caffe."

"Amazing!! We go to many pubs. Even live next door to one. This has to be the most friendly pub around this entire area. As soon as we walked through the door we were welcomed with open arms. There were 4 adults an 8 year old and a baby and all us us were made to feel like the most important people in the pub. Which wasn't left to just our table but everyone in there was treated the same. I've never been somewhere that my daughter says let's go back again. Now we have found somewhere"

"We stopped here on our way back to our holiday cottage and were blown away by the friendliness of the staff, value of the food and the size of the scones! We got in just before the shop was closing but the staff didn't batter an eyelid and happily served us. Between us we had both the cheese and fruit scones...what can I say. They were both the biggest and tastiest scones we have ever eaten. We even took some home and had them the next day and they were still delicious. This is an absolute must if you are in the area!"

"Called here as a halfway point on the Cleveland Way Coastal Walk. On the cliff top there is a sign saying cafe. From the coastal path you walk up a very steep hill, through a very steep campsite and eventually you are there. I consider myself quite fit but even I was out of puff! But the cafe was clean, the staff welcoming with a nice menu to choose from. We had a ham and cheese sandwich which I forgot to take a photo off. But I must say it was probably one of the best sandwiches we’ve had."

"Wow. I stumbled upon this place walking back to my hotel from a facial. It was seriously one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Once I realized the owners were Turkish and I saw there were Turkish specialties on the menu, I knew that’s what I needed to eat. The closest thing it was similar to was shakshuka, but honestly even better. I LOVED it. I got mine with sausage and the bread was also insanely good. Would come back here in a heartbeat."

"Although we were for drinks, we have never eaten at Marneys, which is a charming village of Art Pub, small and cozy with a beautiful garden and since Covid a large covered area outdoors. The food was very good. Dive hot and freshly prepared. My only caution is that we all ordered appetizers and main courses at noon and none of us managed to end all our food. They are very generous portions and several dog bags were needed."

"what a beautiful bakery. it's just what wandsworth was waiting for. a stunning breakfast with the best toast I've ever eaten in a wonderful new environment. the team has made a wonderful task to create a bright and welcoming atmosphere with some love products. I loved the toast so much that I bought the brot and there are real tee leaves and delicious sausages too."

"I love going to coffee creams, and in the last months I have met friends there for tee. my friends and I also enjoyed eating from the menu, the touch and crispy speck is delicious. the geleto and waffel are a real tasty bite. I took my mam recently and we tried the new waffella dessert. this was a something that was perfect on the hot day, a tower of waffeln, geleto, nutella with a few ferraro roche. I chose pistaziengeleto and my mam chose the chocolate and honey. there was only the right combination of ingredients that all worked together. I can recommend this and the other food very much. I use an electric wheelchair and these things are large and bulky design. the reason why I return with my friends to coffee creams is the combination of service and quality of eating. joe and his team are perfect host, from opening the double to ordering and payment from my table everything is done with a smile and little excitement. these little things make the difference between a ok to a fantastic time out."

"I regularly visit St Davids with my family and have been coming for many years. This cafe is situated within the tourist information centre and there is also a gift shop and an interesting gallery on site, well worth a visit in its own right. I suspect some seasonal visitors might not realise there is a cafe here as it is slightly further to walk from the town centre/cathedral than some other options, which would be a shame as this is probably the best place for brunch in St Davids. This cafe has its own parking or you can easily walk to it from the main town centre. Last week I came twice for brunch and again for coffee and cake with family members and friends, we were all very happy with our food each time we visited. Consistently well cooked and of high quality. The portion sizes are generous and the meat was good quality. There are vegetarian breakfast/brunch options available as well as options for children. There is outside seating if the weather is good and the cafe is dog friendly with plenty of toilets available in the cafe and outside and space for the kids to run round outside the cafe. I really enjoyed the avocado toast with poached eggs and also the lemon and blackcurrant cake. My partner enjoyed the full Welsh breakfast and kids enjoyed the pancakes. There is a selection of board games available. Can't wait for our next visit!"

"I have parked near this place numerous times over the years but always thought it was just a conference centre, but I couldn't have been more wrong as it had a lovely cafe where we bought delicious scones with what tasted and looked like home made jams and the coffee's were delicious too. We also visited the shop that was filled with Beatrix Potter Items and other interesting and quality things and then booked a visit to see Doug Allan the Wildlife Cameraman in July in the Theatre. Well satisfied"

"Visited here at lunchtime and had the Welsh Cawl which was recommended to us by waitress. It was ok but nothing special. Cafe was quiet. Good location in the centre of town. The place was clean staff were friendly and price was reasonable but think we would have enjoyed something like a sandwich and coffee much more. Staff were pushing a comedy night. Just think the place had a bit of a confusing identity. Would go back and try an evening maybe it is more geared up for that vibe but for a quick snack and drink it was average. Needs to be more cosy for a daytime crowd, probably idea for an evening bar vibe more than a cafe."

"On our way to the Edinburgh fringe, we took time out to refuel ourselves and were so lucky to find this journey back in time at John Watt and Sons. If you seek out those wonderful atmospheric independent cafes and coffee houses, this will be an absolute treat for you. As soon as you step inside, it is clear that the owners and staff really care about the experience of sounds, smells and memorabilia from a past golden era. You can choose to sit in and select a meal from the well presented menu, we had the full breakfast which was piping hot and very filling. Or you can choose from the classic range of coffees and blends to take home at the deli style counter. Part of the experience is the decor, and if you finish your meal, take a few moments to take the staircase at the corner of the room and journey down to the cellar and their fascinating museum of genuine shop items from the 1940s and before. This is a cafe that should be a destination on everyone’s list because it’s good for the soul. Thankyou to the very friendly, attentive staff who clearly work very hard. When we are on our way to the fringe next year we’ll definitely call back."

"There may be campsites in Britain with a better view than this one, but I am not aware of them. The location is wonderful, offering a fabulous view. The facilities for those in vans and tents are good, and the campsite/cafe team is very friendly and welcoming. Although we did not eat meals at the cafe, it was fully booked during our stay, which is a great sign. However, we did purchase cakes on a couple of occasions, and they were absolutely delightful. The campsite is great for local walks, and for those interested in local history, be sure to learn about Johnnie Notions and visit his grave. Overall, the view is jaw-dropping and the cakes are lovely. This campsite has everything you need."
