"It is my first time in this Frankie&Bennys but I have been many times in other ones. I came with my partner to have dinner and we were totally disappointed with the service given. The waitress a young lady, brunette and short hair took the wrong order. We wanted to have all the food together and not starters and mains as we had a cinema date.We got the starters, (never asked it they were ok) and when we got the mains (after waiting for a while) they were completely wrong and poorly presented. it was 2 carbonara, 1 with extra mushrooms and 1 w chicken and nduja sausage . We got the pasta without any bacon at all and we were like, where is the bacon? The waitress passed our order totally wrong to the kitchen, no bacon and chicken and mushrooms instead. We were offered for fresh new ones instead and this also took a long time to arrive. They came again the second time wrong, my partners pasta had no sausage this time. After being told they did it in. I asked the manager to have a closer look and once he did he agreed there was no nduja. At this point we decided to just eat as we were already too late for our cinema booking. The service overall was shocking. The waitress and waiter seemed they didn’t care at all about the job and the customers. No check backs on food even after the issues were raised. They never asked if we wanted more drinks! Definitely really poor customer service and they never tried to make it better. My advice to the GM of these place, get ride of these staff who make the brand Frankie&Bennys a really bad place to eat. They never gave us any discount or apology or tried to give us a sweet to forget the nightmare. I’ll def not coming back to this restaurant anymore!"

"Disappointingly average food and a confused main menu choices on a Sunday of roast dinners one last pink beef at 5pm that wasn't pink it was well done) and sandwiches and hot roast sandwiches with chips, special was lobster and was quite expensive for the quality. Also a bit eclectic in the interior design back to the 80's in the conservatory and a different style in the main room with a hotch potch of accessories in the mix. Overall just OK, better pubs nearby for a Sunday with friends."

"This spot has a good location, however the service and food let it down. We were seated upstairs and were forgotten about. A lengthy period went by before we finally managed to catch the eye of a downstairs waiter who came and took our order. Coffee was nice but the food disappointing and read better on the menu than it tasted. We ordered eggs florentine the bed of spinach was shredded do finely it was like grass. The vegan breakfast was also disappointing. The beans were stone cold on one side and hadn’t been reheated properly and unfortunately the smashed avocado tasted like it had vinegar through it rather than lemon. We were asked if we enjoyed our meal but sadly it came across as though the waiting staff genuinely weren’t interested. Overall disappointing."

"Simply the best roast dinner of my life Everything was so superlative I had to force myself not to eat fast. Each individual item on the plate was the best of its kind I have ever had. Before you think I am a friend of the restaurant owners I am visiting from England and went with friends : Met at the door by a lovely gent who sat us and took our drinks order. Served by others who were non Intrusive and only interested in making our meal an excellent experience. I cannot explain how amazing the roast was. The meat was perfection, the honey flavoured veg was divine. The potatoes were unlike any I have ever had. Now the “Skirlie” I have neither seen nor eaten before. What a treat!! It was like the chef wanted to show off and this was his opus. Simply brilliant from start to finish. I am positive I will never have a better roast dinner Amazing work to all involved Thank you. "Mildreds is a staple of the London Vegan Scene. I can't believe I’m only writing a review of it now We went to the branch in Soho before watching Les Mis and decided to just share a few of the small plates instead of having a big plate and some starters, as we would normally do. You get to try a lot more things this way, and their small plates are delicious! Honestly, there wasn't anything we ate that I wouldn't order again, but there were definitely a couple of standouts that I hope they never take off the menu. Topping the list is their Sweet Potato Leek Tortelloni, which comes with a lovely leek cream that is somehow both rich and smooth. Also amazing is their Whipped F'ta topped with roasted cherry tomatoes and oregano which is just perfect to dip their grilled pita on. There's still so much on their menu that I haven't tried. "What a lovely little quirky eatery, my friend and I had afternoon tea. Two types of finger sandwiches, fruit cake, granola bar bits, chocolate brownies, home made jam tarts and scones with clotted cream and jam, a big pot of Earl grey with another big pot of hot water so plenty for the two of us, would definitely recommend."

"Recently had a toasted teacake at the patisserie in Anchorside, which, even toasted, as so stale, vowed never to use again. But I have given them another try, this time ordering a Danish pastry with a custard centre. Oh dear, it as so stale the fork provided would not cut through. A miserable young lady did give me my money back but did not I ckude an apology. The coffee was also luke warm. So, stale fare not a one off. Will not, NOT, give them a third chance. Disappointed"

"Was initially really impressed with this cosy, homely little country pub. Low ceilings, lots of warm wooden finishings and it's vey nook and cranny ish which, for me, is a sign of a place I can spend all day and night in, drinking myself into oblivion. The nature of this visit, however, was more foody centred and it was really lacking. Both of us went for the full rack of BBQ ribs. They were bland and not marinaded in anything as far as I could tell but just came with a pot of BBQ sauce. BUT the BBQ chicken wings as a side dish were mega fabulous and so tasty. Staff were awesome and pulled out every stop to make sure you were happy and fully catered for really lovely and chatty! If there were more foody places in the local area, I would have definitely eaten elsewhere and saved this pub for strictly drinking. Still a great place, though! It just feels that because there is not much competition in the area, they've done the bare minimum with the flavours in the dishes."

"Had my birthday meal here last night there was 9 of us, the food was outstanding, so fresh and tasty not 1 complaint from anyone, lots of empty plates from starters to main courses, food has been brilliant anytime we have came here, had a lovely strawberry daiquiri which I loved, only 1 issue and that was the length of time we had to wait on food coming and drinks, only 2 lovely boys working the floor/bar and we did have to wait a considerable amount of time for drinks, and quite some time from the kitchen from the time we had starter till main course, cannot fault the staff at all as they were doing their best but maybe a little more staff in as there was a good few tables full for meals. Still 5 tho as everything was lovely and yes the embarrassing bringing out of the birthday cake and singing to me as well happened. Xxx"

"Really good place for food, ambiance was wonderful, nice chilled out area and fairly spaced apart from other diners. Service could have been a lot better, we waited a whole hour after ordering for our bread and oil starter which is a ridiculously long amount of time. We were starving by this point. "When we arrived the main bar/restaurant was full of smoke, we were seated in the conservatory away from most of the smoke, we were asked three times in quick succession if we were ready to order and I ordered one starter and was given two and i refused one of them but they gave it free of charge. When the main course arrived, I had pork and one of the elements to the dish was excessively salty. When we finished the main course I asked to speak to the manager and mentioned the points I have raised and also that it was a very rushed experience that we did not enjoy. We had two coffees that I was not charged for on the final bill but I was very surprised to see a service charge on the bill which I unfortunately paid almost out of embarrassment. I will not be returning."

"While the service and friendliness at this restaurant were exceptional, the Sunday roasts left much to be desired. The beef was tough and difficult to chew, and the pork was mostly fat with little meat. On a positive note, the vegetables and desserts were enjoyable. The prawn cocktail was a unique dish, and the whitebait was tasty. Overall, the dining experience was not great, especially since I was treating my friends."

"I came here because I was made aware of the gluten free menu that you offer and as someone who suffers from celiac disease it is sometimes hard to find good food when you are out and about Swansea. The gluten free menu did not disappoint. There were lots of options for meals without gluten on the gluten free menu and they were made to the same standards as the normal menu. I had tapas which I found delicious. I had the pulled chicken and chorizo, Mozzarella arancini and pulled brisket chilli. Will definitely come back here for good and affordable food!"

"I don’t know whether to put this on Facebook, what do you guys think… We went to The Three Shires for Sunday lunch after seeing some good reviews and nice pictures on Social Media. I was particularly enthusiastic to go as I always enjoyed The Three Shires when it was a Wine Bar. Unbelievably, we’re really struggling to find somewhere really decent for a Sunday roast, a reasonable sized portion with good meat, well cooked variety of veg, a Yorkshire pudding and lashings of gravy real gravy, not Bisto. *Overall score 0/10* We were booked in for 2:30pm and we arrived exactly on time, albeit a bit wet. We’d walked past 4 members of staff before anyone engaged with us. Anyway, we were given a choice of tables and we sat down. It was a wee bit small, in the thoroughfare opposite the bar, but it was ok. However, Fiona’s chair was broken, so she (with some late help) swapped it with a chair from the other table. That was broke too but, I was seeing that she was loosing the will to live, so she put up with it, she just didn’t lean back! We ordered drinks from a nice, but very inexperienced waitress and looked through the menu. Fiona wanted a roast chicken dinner, but that wasn’t an option, but, upon asking our waitress, she said that wouldn’t be a problem. She disappeared for a few minutes and when we next saw her we ordered the food about 2:45pm by this time. A bad start, I thought, but bring on the lovely food and all will be alright. Then we waited and waited and waited. The staff all seemed to be in chaos, at one time, four of them trying to work out a bill with the calculators on their mobile phones. Then we waited and waited and waited. At 3:30pm, an older woman came over and apologised. Fiona explained we were really stuck for time as she’d just come from visiting her mother in hospital and she had to get back. No problem, she said, I’ll check how long it will be. Immediately she came back and promised 3 minutes. 10 minutes later, we were still waiting, so we got up. I asked for the bill for the drinks, a pint and two alcohol free Gin Tonics, but they said there wasn’t a charge. In my opinion, the first thing they did right. We headed back to the car and got a drenching from the rain and came home. We don’t think a nice, relaxed, tasty, good value for money Sunday lunch is rocket science, but, clearly we’re, mostly, expecting too much definitely from Huffys at the Three Shires!"

"The pub is actually quite nice, little on the pricey side, food is overall decent but no price on the kids meal and had to ask before ordering. Pub was very busy and raining when we went. Father in law is disabled and couldn't sit the family together due to him being unable to sit on a high stool. Luckily a nice couple let him and our son sit with them. Food was of decent quality and we ate. Sadly in a pub with at least 15 dogs in and busy, we were sat by the toilet door and every time the door was opened our dogs barked. After we had finished the barman shouted over to us that they were a dog friendly pub but if the dogs kept barking we would be asked to leave. It was a difficult situation due to how busy it was due to raining and proximity to the toilet door and dogs constantly walking past (also barking). The barman didn't have the decency to come over and have a conversation and we were stopping the dogs when they did bark. Luckily we had finished our food and promptly left the pub. Ironically later in the afternoon we went to a different pub The White Hart and no such issues."

"Me and my friends all come here ever wednesday after school for a study session and a chit chat and grab a coffee! The atmosphere here is something so peaceful and comfortable with its great lighting, music and decorations really make it a special vibe. It’s very hygienic there’s not a spot of dirt insights- bathrooms are always clean. Aswell as it’s state of cleanliness, the smell is really nice with its light up candles. The staff are so sweet and polite and are amazing at their jobs at making us feel welcome! Aswell as that the food and drinks here on the menu are so good and are always top notch- always nice and fresh! I rate it 5/5 because i’ve been to other places before, that have never had such a good quality food and had a great experience! I come here because it’s a comfort place for me and my friends and we never doubt our choices coming here because it’s so great- one of the best places in Derby."

"I visited a charming coffee shop with a pleasant ambiance. While there was some confusion with my order, the server kindly clarified that the iced coffee drink I inquired about was not on the menu but was actually an iced latte. I also learned that customers need to order and pay at the counter, rather than having a server take their order at the table. I enjoyed a BLT sandwich, which was recommended to me by the same server who suggested the iced latte. The service was a bit slow, with my sandwich taking about 45 minutes to arrive, but the server apologized for the delay. Despite the wait, I found the atmosphere to be relaxing as I waited with a self-serve water jug and a good book on my Kindle. The sandwich was delicious, especially for those following a vegan/vegetarian diet. Overall, I had a positive experience and would recommend this coffee shop to others."
