"Service was very poor. Drinks on arrival at the bar were served in horrible soft drinks glasses, considering it was Brandy and Vodka drinks we had ordered and not Lime and Soda! The Brandy and Lemonade turned out to be Brandy and fizzy water due to the lemonade running out, so this had to be changed. The bar tender insisted it was lemonade so I suggested she taste it and she confirmed it was actually water. Service was slow for the food too, and when my main meal came it was the wrong meal completely and so had to go back. So I ate alone whilst my friend had finished her meal. Very disappointing because on first impression when we arrived I thought this place feels nice, but then it all went down hill when we ordered our drinks.... Shame."

Good food, only thing letting the place down is it could use a makeover, and the toilets need a good clean.

Friendly service, great food would recommend for any occasion. We dined prior to a show at Stockport Plaza which it was a perfect location for. Highly recommend!

Been a couple of times, for lunch and afternoon drink. This time it was my partners birthday. We loved it. Staff were friendly and down to earth, good selection of beer and delicious food. We will definitely be back

The Sunday roast at this restaurant is delicious, and they also offer couple share platters at a reasonable price. The food was all great, and the setting was very nice. I would recommend booking in advance as there are limited tables available.

i/we use this restaurant/wine bar regularly for morning coffee, lunch and celebrity meals/gift. the venue has a special ambiente and is tastefully decorated, the decoration is further improved by outstanding artworks and feature architecture. the personal is professional and friendly and the owner is helpful and friendly. it is a noble place, but without being unpredictable. huffy`s is an outstanding asset for the camp city.

We were greeted by two people drinking in the foyer who turned out to be members of staff. We were seated near the fireplace next to unused speakers that had been pushed into the corner, on seating with a huge hole, showing the foam inside. The staff were pleasant enough, however, our waitress’s clothes were not particularly clean nor were the menus. We then watched as a member of staff put her contouring makeup on using the mirror behind the bar optics!

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."
