"Walked in and the what appeared to be the manager sighed, tried to ignore us by going to clean a table and then realised he needed to see to us. We were sat in a booth with the worst possible lighting, spot lights beaming at full brightness at our faces. The waitress was lovely and showed she cared, giving her and advice when required. Sharing platter was nice, chicken burgers had absolutely no taste what so ever, not even a “chicken” taste. Value for money is great if you want to be fed but not tasty. The restaurant needs a massive refurb, everywhere you look it’s falling apart-radiator in men’s toilet was rusty! Skirting boards fallen off walls in parts and wet tissue paper used to fill it, walls dirty, really bad deep fat fry smell (old oil) and pictures peeling off the wall from being stuck on. Would we return nope-only for Manchester confidential vouchers were we there...tbh I cannot see the restaurant being open for much longer as from the faults they must be struggling and have no money to fix things."

"another wonderful evening here with family. that never disappoints. the filet steak boiled medium rare is a firm favorite of me. the rest of my family loved their chicken burgers and mixed grills. the appetizers were again amazing, I had the chicken warm wings and the rest of my family had the baked camembert, broth board, calamari and tomaten and mozzarella salat. the staff above all the woman who greeted us and the lady who took my call when we held in traffic and delayed, were especially beautiful, understanding and friendly. we also had a really nice waitress who served us from the main course. we would definitely come back here and recommend it."

"I made a reservation thinking this restaurant was affiliated with Richard Rawlings' Gas Monkey group, but it turns out it isn't. According to Gas Monkey Dallas, they have no connection to it. I was really disappointed as it became clear the moment we arrived. We felt obligated to stay for lunch, but the food was just average, with some unusual ingredients in the burger (goat cheese?). At least the food was served hot. The staff were friendly, but it wasn't at all what we expected based on our booking. I felt misled and wouldn't choose to come back or recommend it to others."

"The dining experience was very good, with a pleasant atmosphere. However, it is a bit pricey, and I noticed that many young patrons were not wearing masks, which is disappointing as it shows a lack of consideration for safety. I would recommend that management take this into account, as COVID is still a concern for many people and may be for some time. "I've visited this branch a couple of times now (it's rare for me to be in Cambridge but stopping here is always a must! Staff are always friendly, in particular our waiter. He is always helpful approachable, takes the time to explain the menu make sure you are comfortable. The food is on point too! Honestly the nicest burgers I've ever eaten, full of flavor, chunky chips were out of this world the milkshakes are to die for. I find the restaurant very comfortable too, it has been clean and tidy on every visit so far the aesthetics and atmosphere are nice, music not too loud, etc. Only complaint, if any, is that it can be a little bit chilly by the big windows but it's not that bad. Eating here has been one of my best experiences when dining out, if burgers shakes are your thing then go for it treat yourself! It's well worth a visit, especially for the price :"

"Another stunning meal from Fethr today. Started with a refreshing sangria Then our table was complimented with dish after dish coming out to enjoy altogether. The mussels are so big and juicy in a bread soaking white wine sauce. The crab was lovely and fresh!...Oysters delicious! Always served with a smile and left feeling satisfied. Thank you Fethr!"

"I was expecting better as I had eaten there a few weeks earlier when the food and service were good. This time however, the chef seemed to have tipped a jar of salt into the food the burger was crunchy with salt which seemed to make up about half the burger! It was totally inedible. The side salad and coleslaw were also too salty, and the potato wedges were heavily coated in salt. I managed to wipe off the worst of it and eat a few. A complete waste of money. The surly waiting staff also avoided asking 'How is your meal? ' as is usual. They must have known how bad it was. I 'm deleting my GBK app and will never return."

"Not bad not great. Kids blagged to go for the ask you can eat ice cream factory. One sauce and two toppings that were the same but different colours. Absolutely terrible more a single choice not a factory. The pizza fit the buffet was either pepperoni, bbq or mushrooms. Terrible terrible choice! Waste of money wish we'd just git two large pizzas instead. Not bad, not great. Won't return for that lunch option."

"I was surprised to receive a text while en route to the restaurant stating that my table, reserved for 6:30 PM, would be needed again at 8 PM. Having to finish an expensive meal in just an hour and a half is quite disappointing! Fortunately, the restaurant was quiet on Wednesday evening, with only five tables occupied. However, given these conditions, we won't be returning. When I made the reservation, there was no indication of any time limit on our table."

"Room was overwarm, ran out of onion rings on Easter Sunday so no shops open to get more! Felt it was expensive for what it was no better quality than say a Beefeater at what felt like high prices. Service was friendly and fairly quick but were not many guests think they may have struggled if full. May go back again to a more local restaurant but only if a special occasion due to prices. Suggest they use another platform than OpenTable for booking though as I unsubscribed previously due to getting spammed with emails all the time."

"Kind staff, easy and fast service. We ordered on the app, it messed up our order somehow and we were very confused. Normally I’d say it was our fault but we both clicked on the vegan section and so there was no way we could’ve accidentally clicked a meat burger from there. So was not their fault at all but equally we are both vegetarian so we couldn’t eat the burger, however the wait staff was very kind and without any hesitation they went and made a vegan burger instead and was fast ! I never like to cause any issues at all and so I was worried I’d made an issue for them, however they were so polite and just brushed it under the rug it made me feel a lot more comfortable. Thanks for helping us out and we will definitely be back"

"My husband and I stayed at this hotel while attending an event at Santapod. From the moment we arrived until we left, our stay was comfortable. The rooms were cleaned impeccably and the bed felt like sleeping on a feather. We had dinner at the restaurant downstairs, which was perfect. The owners of the hotel were welcoming and polite, making us feel at home. We plan to stay here again in the future. Four weeks later, we stayed at the hotel again for another event at Santapod. The owners and staff treated us like family. We stayed in a family room this time, which was spacious and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was outstanding, one of the best Indian meals I've ever had. Overall, we had an amazing stay and highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for the great service!"

"Have been there several times for breakfast, but this was the worst. Arrived at 8am. Had to wait 35 min for a green tea. Food came after 45 min and one of the platters was wrong (ordered Omega 3 breakfast twice but got only one and one plate with only sourdough toast). I asked them to remove the 12.5% service charge."

"After spending an hour in the restaurant, we finally received our starter, which we decided to share. We ordered haggis bonbons, but there were only three tiny balls, and they were gone in about three minutes because we'd been waiting so long. We then waited nearly another 30 minutes for our mains. When they finally arrived, the presentation was impressive; however, the steak was overly salty—so much so that I couldn’t continue eating it halfway through and had to give up. The onion rings were excellent, but the mac and cheese on the side was quite dry. We ordered another round of drinks when our main course arrived. I was having French martinis, but when my drink came, I was told they had run out of an ingredient and substituted it without asking for my approval. If I had known, I would have chosen something else. Since we opted for the market menu, we shared a portion of ice cream for dessert, which was delicious. In total, our bill came to £100, and I don’t think we’ll be returning anytime soon. The service was very slow, and while the food looked good, I would advise others to be cautious—the saltiness of the meat left me feeling like I had been drinking the sea."
