"I find it extremely disrespectful when plates are cleared while someone is still eating. This occurred during both the main course and dessert. It was evident that the staff wanted us to finish quickly so they could prepare the table for breakfast, which was very rude. Additionally, we had to repeatedly remind the staff about our drink order. Overall, we were not satisfied with our dining experience and would not return to this restaurant."

"I visited the romney with a colleague and two nice 98 years young ladies. the first time that one of them is beyond a year. the service could not have been better, our beautiful waitress has looked around us so well, even the coffee for one of our guests three times as it was always too strong. we finally settled on a hot chocolate! we liked the offer of smaller portions for those with a somewhat smaller appetit. we were the only people in the restaurant for a lot of time, so it was a little boring but fair to be a nice quiet location fits our guests very well. we would definitely return."

"This is one of my favorite restaurants in Cheltenham, and it is very accommodating for those with allergies and celiac disease."

"We arrived for our reservation and, at first glance, it seemed to live up to the hype—this was the highlight of the evening. After waiting about three minutes at the entry, Callie beckoned us over from the bar in a rather erratic manner. The interaction was confusing and awkward; we felt like we were constantly trying to navigate the experience. While she prepared our cocktails, we noticed the drink was poorly made: the lemonade was flat, and the cocktail tasted overly sweet and undrinkable. Our waiter suggested we drink it quickly to be polite. We settled into the lounge, still excited about the evening and the amazing food everyone had raved about. However, we were greeted with the odd soundtrack of "Top 10 Breakup Songs." When it was finally time to take our seats, we had to insist that we had a reservation. It felt strange to be questioned about our booking after already confirming it at the bar. I requested a drink change, explaining that my cocktail was overly diluted, flat, and too sweet for my liking. I asked for a Negroni, but five minutes later, I was told they couldn’t make one because they didn’t have the ingredients. Understandable, given that it was off-menu, but I opted for a Tom Collins instead. Unfortunately, it also arrived flat and poorly mixed, this time with an excessive amount of gin. After waiting for an hour for someone to take our food order, we decided to change our minds and asked for the bill for our drinks, which never came. Frustrated, we eventually left. This experience completely ruined our night. We reached out privately to share our concerns, but they haven’t responded, which shows they clearly don’t care. So, I’m sharing my review publicly instead."

"Instead of the traditional delicious tapas, the menu now includes items like a barbecue meat burger, sausage with corn, fish and chips, and lamb skewers. My wife opted for the lamb, which used to be served as a tapas portion but is now presented on a large plate. The plate may be big, but the food certainly isn't. We received just three very small lamb skewers, two halved cherry tomatoes, a couple of tiny, hard pita breads that were cold, and a minuscule amount of yogurt and chili sauce— all for a staggering £17.95. It was utterly shameful. I selected the burger for £12.95, and I can confidently say that Wetherspoons serves a better one for half the price, plus they include a free drink. When we voiced our concerns to the waiter, he was honest in his response and suggested we share our feedback with management. Unfortunately, he ignored us upon our arrival and, despite us waiting at the door to speak with him when leaving, he was too busy on his smartphone to notice us. If you’re in search of great food, I recommend you steer clear of this place. It’s simply not worth your time or money."

"Lovely breakfast for me but wifes eggs Benedict were a little overdone, served by a lovely waitress, would go back but might ask for soft eggs next time."

"The restaurant had minimal ambiance with all downlighters. We were using a voucher deal, but it did not cover the cost of sides, nibbles, or drinks."
