"Staff behavior (the manager was absolutely disgusting. The bar maid took our payment for our food, the manager decided that our payment hadn 't been taken properly (even though it had come out of both our accounts . Was shouting at the barmaid from the kitchen saying if we didn 't pay she wouldn 't make our food. When we showed her our payments, she tried to claim we would get a refund for those within 3 days, as the payment didn 't go through properly and we had to pay again. We stood our ground, which resulted in her storming off and saying 'i will have to shout you these ones then won 't I '... I still haven 't received a refund and to be honest think I deserve it due to the disgusting behavior of the manager, the terrible food and the uncomfortable atmosphere. Wouldn 't even stop for a pint in future, even if it was the only option. I will be warning all friends and family away :"

"After a Saturday morning conference at Balliol, I’d hoped to get a bite to eat at the Ashmolean café, but – no chance – all the tables were taken. So I returned whence I came, hoping to find somewhere to eat as I headed back towards the Cornmarket. Everywhere seemed busy, so I decided to head off into unknown territory down a small street, which is where I quickly came across the café. The outside smoking area was empty, and I could see that several inside seats were available too, so in I went. It wasn’t clear to me whether it was table service – it was – so I just walked to the counter, scanned the overhead menu, and ordered a tuna cheese panini. Can’t go far wrong with that. There was no freshly squeezed orange juice available, despite it being on the menu, but I was directed to a bottle of chilled orange juice in the fridge. That would have to do ….. The panini arrived fairly promptly, and the service was friendly. And I was able to watch the BBC News channel while I took a few minutes out of what was otherwise a busy day. I’d be happy to pop in again."

"80% of the feed options on the menu were not available, which was not clear at the time of booking, even when we were set and menus were given. the dame behind the bar was rude and their customer service was practically not available. such a scandal because the pub itself is beautiful inside and the location is perfect"

"Booked a table for a birthday meal, and was over the moon with the evening. The Dukes allowed us to use decorations free of charge and even helped set up a little table for presents and cakes! The food was just right, and the customer service throughout the night was top notch plenty of smiles enjoyable conversation. A massive thank you to Andy and the team on shift for a fantastic evening!"

"I had a disappointing experience! This pub/restaurant, which used to be a place worth visiting, has really declined. We returned to our hometown of Marlow for the Jubilee after six years and were looking forward to a nice meal. However, we found that there was no table service, and the tables were dirty with leftover packaging and half-empty glasses that hadn’t been cleared away. The bathroom also doubled as a bar service area. Overall, the food was nothing special at all."

"The food was delicious and of high quality. The service was attentive and helpful. The only downside was that they did not offer to take my coat off, despite it being a very cold day. I would still recommend this restaurant."

"I just have to say the staff owner of the pub treat the traders on the market so well! Most other pubs require us to buy a drink to use the toilet every single time which becomes pricey, the cross keys is the only pub that kinda just lets us run in as and when we need and of course in return we buy a coffee or two to say thanks. Even if we didn’t buy drinks they wouldn’t deny traders using their toilet and it makes all the difference to us. Simple nice gestures like that go along way! Selfless and pleasant staff"

"We went to Farrington Park with some vouchers that were about to expire and we selected the steak night. We chose the sirloin steaks for £30 for 2 but we were not told that they were peppered steaks. They were very heavily covered in pepper and I could eat mine but my wife had to scrape the pepper off as best she could. My wife did say to the waitress that it was too peppery for her and she said she was sorry. Everything else was absolutely fine with the dining experience, the steak was cooked to perfection and the taste was lovely, just beware if you don't like too much pepper tell the waitress when you order!"

"My partner and I are always on the hunt for unique breakfast spots in our neighborhood. Unfortunately, this particular restaurant didn't impress us. While the prices and interior were satisfactory, the food and coffee were quite average. It's a decent option if you're looking for a budget-friendly meal and don't mind a standard breakfast."

"I recently had lunch at this restaurant and was very impressed. The price per person ranged between £20-£30. The food was excellent, I would give it a 5 out of 5. The service was also top-notch, receiving another 5 out of 5 rating. The atmosphere was quite nice, scoring a 4 out of 5. Overall, I had a great dining experience and would highly recommend this restaurant for a meal."

"As a regular customer of rhubarb I was extremely upset to of received such shocking customer service this morning. Myself an partner came for breakfast at 9am and firstly ordered a coffee whilst taking an important phone call we both needed to listen to and so placed the call on speaker as there was not one other person in the building other than the member of staff that greeted us we did not see this as a problem. Throughout the call we were asked 3 times if we were eating and what we wanted to which we replied we were not yet ready to order. Shortly after the member of staff asked us very abruptly to switch off the speaker, to which my partner replied for whom exactly? (As we were the only people there and the music was blaring we could hardly hear ourselves think). She then replied for me!! Shocked at this we decided not to stay for breakfast and instead go down the road to milo (which was lovely and could not fault service). As we paid for our coffees i said to the woman she was in the wrong line of work as she didn’t offer good customer service to which she replied take you private phone calls somewhere else! In shock at how she spoke to us my partner said we would be leaving a review to which she replied she could not wait to read it and shoved us out the door. Not quite sure what the attitude or problem was for maybe woke up on the wrong side of the bed, but said to say will not be returning again and I will look forward to speaking directly with the owner myself."

"Had a breakfast sandwich here today. Bread was great, sausages were wow but too many for one person. Only observation was too much ketchup. The sandwich was literally swimming in the stuff which, had I not just moved here, would have stopped me from popping...in again. However, the biggest turn off was the quality of coffee. Given Tenbury Wells has an abundance of coffee shops you would think one of them would actually provide a decent coffee bean to its customers. Surely if you open a cafe the priority is having outstanding coffee. There are folk who go to cafes simply for the coffee. Get that right and you get a customer for life. Get it wrong and your customers goes next door to the next cafe. As with wine, the difference between good and bad coffee is a few pence so there can be no excuses. Other opinions are available ps I will try the Spotty Dog again but not for its very poor coffee."

"Went for lunch, stayed for hours. The service from entry to end was absolutely delightful, servers are super friendly. Food was exceptional, great portions and the cakes were to die for. Everything served around us also looked and smelled insane, will be back to try the whole menu! Coffee was on point, would highly recommend the Nutella mocha. We sat outside although we did have to keep our jackets on, the heaters make it bearable even in minus temps and the fairy lights and cushions/blankets provide a wonderful atmosphere for any occasion. One of our new favourites for dates and business meetings and everything in between! Parking: Parking available across the road, plenty there but not huge availability depending on time of day. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Cake Selection Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free street parking"

"This is a lovely cafe, in a quiet back street behind the theatre. Worth booking, but we managed to get a table by turning up at 5pm. The roti side dish makes an excellent starter, and the tofu ramen and veggie balls were both good. A nice selection of drinks, too. And we took away a nice piece of lemon and pecan sponge cake: it's nice to be able to get a vegan cake that's not flapjack! Staff were lovely, too."

"Spent a very rainy day in Fort William. Used the Happy Cow app to search for a vegan friendly place for lunch made our way to The Wildcat. Left our name no as they were full then got a call about 20 mins later to say they had a table for us. We both opted for the Moroccan pasty special which was delicious comfort food. I had turmeric latte and my partner had coffee which he said was the nicest he’s ever had in a café . After another round of hot drinks, we were too full for anything else but ordered a couple of cakes to take away. Really nice wee cafe we’ll definitely return when we’re in Fort William again."

"We've eaten here plenty of times and the food is delicious!! I asked for the sticky beef chilli salad even though its not yet back on the menu, the chef was happy to do this for me, it's the best sticky beef salad I've eaten. Its the reason I come to the farmers arms. My hubby had the turkey dinner which had plenty of meat and he couldn't fault it. The service is always 5 star, the chef cooks lovely food. All credit to everyone who works here from the servers to the management and chefs!! Would recommend the farmers to anyone who wants great food and service."

"A nice location in a courtyard, it has a deli on one side and the restaurant on the other which has seating upstairs or outdoors, under a louvered canopy. Lots of views and plants complete the Mediterranean feel. This is also a dog friendly area. Unfortunately service was slow, with a half hour wait, even though there appeared to be few customers and when it topped a dozen new diners were being advised of a 40 minute delay. The breakfast sandwich was fine, but Egg Benedict sauce was almost tasteless, so not the best I've had. Prices were on the high side considering what we had and the time taken to serve it, but its a great place to people watch! Parking: High Street only. Wheelchair accessibility: Located in courtyard just off the pavement with level access through to the till."
