"Had a breakfast sandwich here today. Bread was great, sausages were wow but too many for one person. Only observation was too much ketchup. The sandwich was literally swimming in the stuff which, had I not just moved here, would have stopped me from popping...in again. However, the biggest turn off was the quality of coffee. Given Tenbury Wells has an abundance of coffee shops you would think one of them would actually provide a decent coffee bean to its customers. Surely if you open a cafe the priority is having outstanding coffee. There are folk who go to cafes simply for the coffee. Get that right and you get a customer for life. Get it wrong and your customers goes next door to the next cafe. As with wine, the difference between good and bad coffee is a few pence so there can be no excuses. Other opinions are available ps I will try the Spotty Dog again but not for its very poor coffee."

I love the Spotty Dog. The food is fresh, tasty with really lovely side salads. Good coffee and yummy cakes. This is a regular meetup place for me.

Only called in for a cup of afternoon tea but the place was very clean, the social distancing was excellent, the staff efficient and the tea very good.

We drive over from Droitwich on a regular basis to visit Spotty Dog. Lovely friendly service and food is excellent. Best cafe west side of Worcestershire. View menu

We stopped here by happenstance breaking a journey to the coast but the food looked so tasty we stayed for lunch. The sandwiches and quiche were truly mouthwatering. We'll come back again!

We stopped in for an early lunch before a film matinee at the nearby Regal Theatre, and were pleasantly surprised. Lots of choices for all appetites and budgets, and very reasonable prices. The service could have been a bit speedier, once we'd placed our order,...but once it came the food was tasty and nicely presented. We'll be returning another time.

Had lunch whilst touring area; a first visit. Wider menu than an average cafe with a number of specials. Baked potatoes good size and not microwaved to a mush as in many other places. Coronation chicken was home made. Side salad included slices of pepper...and some grated beetroot. Good cafetieres of coffee. The gallery side was closed off/packed away, but there was some lovely artwork on walls. View menu

The Spotty Dog was my first experience of eating out after lockdown and what a treat. The food was fresh, tasty and just the right portion size for a light lunch. They also had got the social distancing just right; it felt welcoming and the...screens around the counter blended into the decor as if they had always been there. The little gallery was an added bonus to look at while waiting for the food. What a find!!

Authentic and honest-to-goodness. If you want smartypants stuff go across the road. It's not a trendy place but a pleasant blend of gallery, tea-room and coffee-stop. The lady at the next table had coffee and nice thick toast; I had a lemon drizzle cake that...was light, moist, tasty and as good as you could possibly want. The coffee was ok; the whole experience was very satisfying. A nice place to stop in a lovely country town, after you've watched the ducks being fed on the river.
