"My first visit so I didn’t know that it was no easily accessible to those with mobility difficulties. I went with an elderly relative who relies on a stick to move around so the steps down to the restaurant was definitely a problem. Out of a wish to not disappoint, she slowly made her way down the stairs refusing to think about how she would leave. Staff was friendly and the restaurant wasn’t very busy. The food was tasty and we didn’t feel rushed. Will go again and recommend to others but wouldn’t recommend to those with a mobility difficulties."

"This has always been my preferred pub when in the area. In all the years I have been coming here I had never had a bad pint .... until now. Upon arrival, the usual array of Fullers ales (and a guest) were available. The music was quiter than usual, but that is no bad thing on a week-day afternoon. The London Pride, however, was (too warm and) of very poor quality (one of my friends even suggested that it might be a different ale). I did try to discuss the matter with a member of staff but to no avail. I looked round and was concerned to see that no one else appeared to be drinking real ale (lagers and guiness appeared to dominate). We did try to persist (with the Pride and an alternative ale) but were forced to try an alternative venue (where, fortunately, the London Pride was fine). I hope this is a one-off aberration and that normal service resumes as soon as possible."

"I have tried this place twice so far and the food is exceptional. We have vowed never to go anywhere else for Caribbean food. However first experience was great, and I had left a note for the restaurant to deliver to front door (when you print in my postcode it brings you around the back entrance) as I am disabled and the back way has steps leading down to it I find it very difficult to get down there. So the delivery man delivered to the front door. Second experience... food was great once again but the man rang me to say he was out the back and when I got down the steps he was few doors down the road. I waited at my gate and he wouldn’t drive up to me so I had to walk to the car and even then he just undone his window and passed me the food! I found it very difficult to get to the driver and I found this very rude. But as for the food it is lovely. Maybe it’s best to collect next time."

"The food here is wonderful. Well cooked food with great flavours. The ambience is perfect and the smell of amazing food hits you when you walk through the door. The service was brilliant. Very friendly but not overly so with very prompt service. I had the peri-peri wings to start and they are lovely. Good sized wings and just spicy enough. I had a king prawn main which was also delicious. My friend had the mutton curry which was incredible and I have since had as a take away from them. Huge chunks of tender meat with no gristle with a thick sauce. My new favourite food to order in and one of the best curries I have had. The rice and peas were cooked perfectly. The dumplings are amazing, they are so like donuts as to feel like a real treat! I would recommend Bishops and will definitely go again, and hopefully often."

"We were a party of 14 and my goodness did Donna/Don and the team go out their way to make my mums bday a special night. They decorated our table area with banners/ special glasses etc and made my mum feel very special! Attention to detail spot on. The service throughout was top class, very friendly, down to earth, patient and its a breath of fresh air when the owners take time to greet and talk to their guest so thank you! The waitress was amazing too, it was her first day and she dealt with such a large group amazingly well and was very funny! The food was absolutely 10/10. Very hard to find such amazing authentic Caribbean food, in west london, unless its homemade, so this was a real treat. Thanks so much to the whole team. We will be recommending to everyone and certainly be back again!"

"Loved our dinner at The Camberwell Arms! Everything we had delicious. The heirloom tomatoes, confit mackerel nicoise and flank steak were all amazing. My husband had been wanting to try the scotch bonnet and pork belly fat on toast for months and it didn't disappoint! The waitress was fantastic in helping us order the right dishes and right amount of food. I think this is rare when most places encourage more plates for the sake of a higher bill. "I don't usually write reviews, but I am so annoyed. To start with a positive, the food arrived in really good time....about 30 minutes sooner than when they said it would, which would be fine if it was decent once it got here. The driver didn't bother to get out of his car, I had to go out and collect it, then the jerk chicken was bland, getting cold and was PINK inside! Chips were cold and tasted like they were made days ago, and they forgot my drink even after coercing me to spend enough to qualify for home delivery. Completely disappointed and ashamed to say, half my dinner wen tin the bin! By the way I called to let them know they forgot my drink an hour ago...still waiting to get what I paid for. Total let down, don't waste your money."

"When I heard a Caribbean restaurant had opened in Crewe, I couldn't help but think back to my days working for the local community group and indulging in a delicious goat curry with rice. Mrs. Patterson's did not disappoint – the curry sauce was flavorful, the goat meat tender, and the rice perfectly cooked. "Three of my good friends shared a birthday in the same week. A recommendation that we had lunch @Kitchen. Actually, I wasn't really for it, but hey, it was her birthday. So all said, ten of us return, unprecedented and we had not booked (please don't, it's a man thing. The staff was amazingly accentuated to consider. @Kitchen is a compact, clean café with a beautiful atmosphere and a good menu. All agreed their meal tasty and good value for money! "I ordered a full jerk chicken, rice and peas, steamed veg and jerk sauce. And i received the chicken, two big and two small tubs of some sweet watery sauce with corn and onions. And nobody picks up their phone. Very disappointing"
