"After dinner one evening in SOHO London, I randomly stumbled upon this gelato and dessert shop. The staff was extremely friendly and were able to answer all of my questions."

"Really didn't mind waiting to queue to get into this lovely restaurant. The outdoor seating was adequately covered and comfortable seating. I seen people with their gorgeous dogs , eating with their owners at some of the tables. The food was yummy!! I had the salmon and Asian noodles and my partner had chilli con carne, half rice and half chips. Both were fresh and tasty!! There was lots to choose from of the menu and a kids menu too. The toilets are lovely and well kept. We ended up having a dessert as it was weds so all food discounted Mon, Tues and weds throughout. We both had the new York cheesecake, it was super nice!! All in all a great place, lovely atmosphere and serves in the evenings too. All staff are super friendly and helpful. I would highly reccomend anybody travelling to or around betsy-y-coed and needs a great place to eat, this is well worth a visit."

"Came on Sat 8th August for a midday meal, booked in advance because of Covid regs, arrived early but our table was ready, easy to follow Covid instructions and directions, staff in masks and customers all respecting Social Distance guidelines. The food was amazing, home cooked ham salad was gorgeous with new potatoes, not stingy on the butter portions! And other half had Haddock and Chips, the fish was big and the chips were really, really good! Love this place, worth the 45 min drive for us. Thank you to the staff who must have been hot and bothered in masks but kept on being professional and polite."

"Lovely lunch, although it would have been nice to be told what veg we would be given, as my partner didn't like red cabbage. I did not want to say anything and embarrass anyone. My lamb was delicious and his mixed roast was good too. Service excellent. The only thing was it was quite dark in the restaurant. Think it was an old building. Will go back."

"Warmly welcomed and shown to one of many tables by pleasant staff. Busy night but didn't have to wait at all for our drinks to arrive and order starters and mains. Starter food was delightful with salmon fishcake and poached egg going down well. Mussels were nice but content tiny towards some we have had, overall good. The main however of Iberian Belly pork with blackpudding and chorizo was outstanding. Truly the best I have eaten. Cannot compliment this dish highly enough."

"It was a beautiful day and we took a last minute decision to find a spot for lunch, this was the only Restaurant we found locally that had availability. The only slight criticism was the time taken to deliver the food on the table, but as we were not in a hurry it didn 't matter too much, however what arrived was of exceptional quality for Pub Grub and well beyond normal expectations. Reasonably priced options were available and desert to die for. We couldn 't not fault the food in any way shape or form and could compare favourably to some London Restaurant 's we have eaten in. Well done to all at the Ship we shall return for sure."

"Not overwhelming but a nice traditional pub. Cozy inside sitting outside. Food is pretty average (average taste, plain steamed veg etc). Leaving this review because I haven't seen a menu with so few vegetarian and vegan options in years quite poor in 2023. The menu is quite large but almost everything is meat or fish. Only vegetarian options are baked camembert (starter) or Mac cheese (main). Only vegan option is olives (starter). This also doesn't cater for anyone with lactose intolerance etc either so was not ideal."
"I have heard many good things about this restaurant and so we went today for my husbands birthday. I was underwhelmed by our food today. We had the roast, and it was pretty average, and considering the food is pricey, you expect it to be excellent. We have 4 kids 2 had the roast option and 2 the burger option the burgers were tiny, the chips were great. No salad for the burgers. Puddings across the board were really good and we loved that they all had great vegan and GF options, although the meals didn’t have much variety at all for GF for the kids. The service was also average our waitress hardly gave us a smile throughout the whole meal. Luckily a server of the food was a bit friendlier. Honestly, we won’t be going back again."

"Great meal with myself and the wife after reading some previous reviews, great food with background folk Monday music from some locals jamming which was very pleasant. Food was all home made and was of far superior quality to some of the intown restaurants and well worth the taxi ride out. Some fresh and warm hand made scones as a wee freebie also a lovely touch. A very worth while place to visit if you are staying in St Andrews for a few days in a lovely quaint tavern."

"This is our neighborhood pub, and we hadn't been there in a while. However, we decided to go there for my birthday in November and it was fantastic. We ordered Sunday lunch, with the choice of roast chicken, lamb, or beef, served with roast potatoes and all the trimmings. For dessert, we had cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding, or apple pie. The food was delicious and high quality, so we will definitely be returning to this pub."

"went last Sunday after so many beautiful contributions to see about eating! we were certainly not disappointed, our expectations were even exceeded. the only carvery we were (and this is a couple) that for children, vegetarian, adult, pedestrian eater, big eater the amount! (the only thing missing was a carvery option for vegetarian children who did not mean a full-priced adult meal, but she suffocated with the no meat child option). the eating was amazing, the personal super and we especially loved what they did with the pub, decor at point! soon back"

"Warnes is my favorite restaurant of all time. The food is always incredible every single time, the service is fantastic, nice atmosphere; every visit just reiterates how great it is. I have been possibly in excess of 10 times have never had a bad meal or experience. The belly pork main dish has a cult following for very good reason. the sticky toffee pudding is next level. Also enjoy the dirty fries on the lunch menu, super tasty, the cheesy garlic bread is insanely good watch out for the tiny loaf of bread with the soup! Dietary restrictions: I have visited with members of the family who require gluten free Warnes has an extensive menu which provides this dietary requirement without losing any of the quality."

"After I recently had to change my diet because of illness, I thought that the days I could eat had everything, but then I found the olive tree in nailsworth. I was aware that they have already offered a quite impressive looking vegan menu and so I plan to see if they would be able to meet my other diet requirements that are on the phone not only assured me that I could be supplied, but also the food allergy leaf out and via options with me also a notic next to my booking, so that other workers would also be aware. the olive tree is a small but intimate restaurant with outside seats. there are several vegetarian options on the main menu and on the separate vegan menu 4 or 5 starters, net and even a selection of deserts. the waitress was very attentive to check with the kitchen what they could do for me and finally I decided for a pasta dish, my friend the vegetable risotto. at the beginning we have divided some sweet potato wedges that were tasty the only critique is that the portion size was tiny for the price, but the waitress went over and about the change of the dip that she accompanied so that I could have it. my pasta was tasty, but not too exciting, and no flavor. my friends risotto was very sharp and lemony and in contrast to risottos he cooks in the rule (he is something of a Risotto king!), but he was impressed and the court was very crowded. it was not the biggest meal we ever had, but it is nice to know that there is a restaurant that can offer for so many allergies / diet types."

"absolutely delicious. we love this beautiful restaurant / teestube, the garden is with small secret places to sit and is so charming. after the visit we decided to order their shanklin cake. That's good, so fleshy. the prawn salad is incredible and the isle of wight tastes so fresh. I think you sticky toffee pudding might be the best I cost. the owner is charming and the staff so friendly. 10/10"
"Had a wonderful Sunday lunch here for my girlfriend's birthday! They brought us over prosecco to start but we don't drink so they happily exchanged it for 2 soft drinks so quickly. We had an amazing couple of starters to begin with the antipasti board and the ginger beer halloumi fries which were great. Onto mains we both opted for the pork roast and weren't disappointed! So much variety of veg and beautifully cooked roast potatoes, the whole meal was just amazing. We both had to have dessert at this point so went for the passionfruit martini Eton mess and white kit kat cheesecake both which were divine. All in all a fantastic experience for the service and the food, would definitely recommend to others."

"I went here last night to get away from the over priced average food at the village hotel I was staying at. Pub is traditional and comfortable, staff were lovely and full of smiles. Food was excellent, big portions, home made and everything I ate was spot on. Meat just fell off the ribs, home made southern fried coating on well cooked chicken. Loads of dessert option, homemade sponges and cheesecakes. I had an excellent lemon drizzle. Well priced too, I only felt terrible as I didn't have any cash to tip my waitress, and wished there was a gratuity option on the contactless payment, which she fully deserved. Next time I'm in I will make up for it!"

"I love my seafood and whilst visiting Amble in Northumberland, Jasper’s Bistro did not disappoint. My family and I were welcomed at around as an opportunist walk-in (in the future I will book in advance) and we’re lucky enough to get seated and fabulously...fed in the lull before dinner. We ordered seafood dishes from the specials board and the a la carte which included lindisfarne oysters, squid with garlic, mussels in a garlic and cream sauce to start and we followed this with lobster with garlic and anchovy tapenade, whole crab salad, beer battered monkfish with twice cooked chunky chips -all beautifully presented, cooked to perfection and tasting fabulous and in my case, washed down by local beer. Nothing was too much trouble for our server with kids trying lobster for the first time (big success btw) extra plates, tools, napkins were all helpfully provided. No hesitation in recommending this little gem of a restaurant from our experience today!"
