"I visited this restaurant with my two children, ages 6 and 10. The server who attended to us had a very cold and unfriendly demeanor. She directed us to a specific table to sit at, even though there were other empty tables available. We requested to sit at the back in order to all fit on one bench, but she coldly informed us that those seats were reserved. We ended up sitting where she directed us and waited about 10 minutes for our food to arrive. After eating, we left and noticed that the supposedly reserved seats remained empty. Overall, the customer service was lacking."

"I absolutely loved the food at this restaurant. The theme of the place was great and the food was absolutely amazing. I really appreciated the ordering system for customizing my burger - I could choose all 5 toppings to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. The options included hash browns, fried egg, fries, mushrooms, fried onions, and various sauces. I would definitely recommend trying this out. Plus, they currently have a 50% off promotion for the next few days, which is a great deal!"

"Having a coffee at this café was reminiscent of being in Tel Aviv. Noisy traffic, people speaking on their phones in Ivrit, orthodox Jews strolling by and a laid back atmosphere. Even the plumbing was very Israeli. The toilets were very clean but the taps were coming away from the sink. It was a cold day in August, which is definitely not typical of Israel and we were seated outside as a Covid precaution. The friendly staff did offer at least twice to turn on the external heaters which would have been nice, but when we left some 20 minutes later the heaters had still not come on. Well it's the thought that counts ....."

"Additionally, the menus were taken away after we ordered, leading us to ask multiple times for service when we wanted more drinks. We also didn’t receive enough napkins—only two for six people. The cutlery was scattered in the center of the table and there wasn't even enough for everyone, so some had to share a fork for their ice cream. Even though I had made a reservation, the table wasn’t set up properly, which forced the host to rearrange tables. It seemed relatively quiet, so I was surprised by the disorganization. Overall, it was not the experience I had hoped for at Heavenly Desserts."

"Visited The Orange Tree on a Sunday afternoon, was busy as we arrived but as the tables are spaced, never felt noisey. Received a warm welcome from all the three staff, they were professional and relaxed, there was no rush for our meal, nice atmosphere. There is a large menu and special board and all our meals were top quality, I had the Chicken Roast, the potatoes were best I have had in ages and with eight different vegetables, top quality roast dinner. The are no real ales on tap, only in bottles. There is a car park for about 20 cars with lighting for these winter months. There is a farmer market attached to the restaurant. Its not dear for the quality of food and service. Wines start from £22 a bottle. I will recommend a visit."

"This was my first visit to The White Lion since its refurbishment. I’ll start with the good. The refurbishment has been tastefully done and has improved the pub, and staff were lovely and very helpful. However the food was a major disappointment. Two of us ordered the grains and greens salad. When it arrived it was tiny, it was in a very small bowl, we were amazed they could call this a main course salad. If we had ordered it as a starter or side dish then it would have been acceptable, but this was supposed to be a main course It was called a grains and greens salad. Well, there were plenty of greens but you had to search for the grains. One of the salads was ordered with chicken. There were three tiny pieces of chicken on it. We did order side dishes with the salads but were tiny too, the Mac and cheese took two or three bites to finish! We did complain about the salads and our server said that there had been similar complaints and that this was the portion side the pub owners had told them to serve. They did offer us complementary desserts, which was a lovely gesture, but hte salad should have been a lot larger to be called a main course dish. Two of our party ordered the skewers, the portion size for these was marginally larger than the scalds, but still in the small size. For this started sized plate of not much more than lettuce I was charged almost £18!!! This was not value for money. Both of us who ordered the salad left hungry and disappointed. I have eaten main course salads at other pubs and restaurants and they have always been substantial main dishes, not stater sized small bowls. The other meals that were ordered were slightly better, although the skewers weren’t very substantial either. I will not be returning to the White Lion for food, and wouldn’t advise anyone who is hungry , or who doesn’t like being over charged to do so either. All of our party felt the food was very overpriced for the quality and quantity, and none of us are in any hurry to return."

"that was nice to eat. but it was very busy and they didn't have enough staff. they did the best they could and hastened to serve everyone as quickly as possible. it took 30 minutes until our drinks come and were missing extras on my mother's meal. was so busy my mother said not to worry, but take it out of the bill they did. should have been more personal for bookings. was more business than normal due to the performance at deco. but would have had to know from the bookings that more employees were needed."

"We had to wait a bit before being greeted by the friendly staff, but we didn't mind since the restaurant was busy (which created a great atmosphere). The food arrived quickly and the portions were generous. I ordered the Angus ribeye from the set menu and it was cooked perfectly, I highly recommend it! The restaurant is very welcoming to children of all ages and they were happy to accommodate our stroller. Overall, the service was good, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely. I would recommend trying the steak with beef dripping sauce. Meal type: Lunch. Price per person: £20–30."

"Called in for lunch, very pleasant atmosphere and ambiénce, Maitré D was a friendly, helpful, and charming guy, professional to a tee. I was slightly disappointed in the lunchtime menu selections available (hence 4 stars, not 5), as it was mainly burgers, steak, or Fish and chips for the mains. Evening selection is much more varied. Sandwiches served to a nearby table looked fantastic. My fault, I should have checked the menu first. That said, we opted for steaks, which were very nice, mushrooms and tomatoes that accompanied the steaks were full of flavour, the chips were very nicely cooked and presented too. Sometimes a meal is as much about the occasion as it is the food (no complaints) and we had a very enjoyable lunch. I would certainly call again if we were in the area."

"Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Brunel University. Very convenient 20 minute walk and even shorter bus ride) to West Drayton train station for jaunts into Central London. Same bus option in opposite direction to get to Brunel 30 minute walk). Tesco and Aldi located close by should the in room yogurt and bread croissant not cut it good thing for the fridge in the room). Stayed in Grand Canal view room #2 which had 1 queen bed and ensuite bathroom. Unfortunately there was no hot water in the sink, but lots in the shower. I mentioned this to the staff via email and in person no response via email and a stunned sorry can 't help you response from the in person complaint. The room could also do with more options for hanging clothes as there are only 2 fixed hangers in the room. The adjacent room #1) was not occupied the 1st 2 nights so it was very quiet, but the 3rd night next morning really) is when we noticed the extremely thin walls where normal conversation levels could be heard. We managed to enjoy a meal in the onsite restaurant and it was very good generous house salad and very good fish and chips)."

"The GSTF has three locations in Milan, and despite some negative reviews, I personally really like them. In my opinion, they are the best spots to have brunch on the weekends. Last Sunday, I went with my girlfriend to the one in Piave. The location is stylish and well-maintained, the staff is welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant. The menu has various interesting options, ranging from classic egg dishes for brunch to stir-fries or pizza. I really enjoy the taste, the desserts are also excellent, but the fruit smoothies are fantastic!!! The prices are in line with other restaurants in Milan. I highly recommend it."

"I and my partner were fortunate enough to spend our Wedding Day at Sudbury House Hotel. The day was perfect, thanks to Natalie the team going above beyond! The scenery is stunning and made some really good photos for our wedding. All of the guests who attended in the day evening complimented the foods provided, especially the roast beef. The deluxe Suite was definately pleasant, spacious worth the money which added a special feel to our day. Thank you Sudbury House team for make our day special. Rooms: The Deluxe suite is stunning, and definately worth the money. It's not just the room you are paying for, but you also get to experience the unique lobby staircase Sudbury House provides just before you open your rooms door. Walkability: The gardens were beautiful, and definately worth a walk through. Food drinks: The food was delicious, all of the 52 guests that attended complements the wedding breakfast, evening buffet, and morning breakfast the following day. "I would have loved to rate our dining experience at the Ivy House a lot higher but we were to leave somewhat disappointed. The dining area was pleasant and intimate with well appointed decor, the waitress and waiters pleasant, polite and attentive. The varied menu looked very appetising with most tastes catered for. We chose two courses from the main menu, the Duck Breast and a Fish Dish for myself. Contrary to other reviews we were to wait over 40 minutes before the food was presented to us. We were not advised of any delays or even the expected length of time we might have to wait. The food on arrival was well presented and flavoursome although I did not consider two small stem broccoli spears a serving. I also asked the waiter why there was no Samphire to accompany my dish as stated on the menu, this comment was also reinforced by a fellow diner who ate the same dish just prior to me. The waiter advised me that he would ask the chef. I did not receive a response to my question during further table service and subsequently asked the waiter again. On returning the waiter advised me the chef said “he will try to remember to put it on next time”, a somewhat disrespectful comment. The Cheese platter we were presented with was lacklustre and sparse, quince jelly and a small dish of chutney being the predominant feature. For ourselves we did not feel that our dining experience represented good value for money."
