"We visited Mother's Day, probably one of the busiest days of the year for a family-friendly chain restaurant like this. Nevertheless, the service was good, there was no special waiting time for the food and the children had a good time. Main dishes are a little expensive for what they are, but there is usually a sort of deal on. We had a main purchase for free. The children's menu was very good."

"We have eaten many times in this restaurant in recent years, but it seems to us that the service and restaurant itself is getting worse and worse! First, on our last visit the host said that our booking NOT about Open Table fortunately we were happy that another couple had canceled, so we had their table. It took a very long time to serve our main course after we had finished our appetizers, I had to ask the staff 3 times where the food was, each time it was explained that we showed a cinema to get, we had booked the restaurant for an hour and half before our departure, so it should have been a lot of time to serve our food and have eaten for us. The chicken pasta was bland and tasteless, so hardly was eaten. Finally, the music was played so loud in the restaurant that we had to scream to have heard us; not what you would expect in a restaurant. We won't come to visit there for a long time!"

"The restaurant met the typical expectations for a chain establishment. The staff were great - attentive but not too overbearing. I visited with my 80-year-old mother and we were able to take advantage of some fantastic vouchers through the app, which included a main course and drink for only 5.99. You can't beat that deal!"

"Booked a table for 8 at 6.15 by an open table. Depending on the fact that they do not receive my booking. Open table bug not mine. Wait for the next free table for 6 people by 6.45. After the invitation of me, we finally served our food at 7.30, at which time my rugged and therefore hyper 3 Yro son literally ran around the walls. 7 burgers/ bungalows/ onion rings were completely cold and tasteless with soggy bases, but served with very hot frits. We waited again for children desert ice?! , had to chase our bill and finally with a bunch of children who eat too long and fed dirt with boredom from sitting on a small table. Paying £105 pounds for the worst evening in a long time is not something I would recommend or ever repeat."

"I made a reservation for a birthday dinner at this restaurant through the app. I received a confirmation email that the reservation had been made. However, when my party of ten arrived at the restaurant, which was only half full, we were told that there was no table available for us because their booking system had not been updated. The staff refused to accommodate us. This was a terrible customer experience and I will not be returning to this restaurant."

"My first course had 3 slices of bread with a selection of toppings. 1 was OK (mushrooms in cream) the other 2 were diced tomato and something which was tasteless and both were pointless and uninteresting. With my main course the sauce around the dome of pasta and meatballs was cold, and even after it was bought back to me it was barely warm. The dessert panettone bread pudding was a triumph."

"from a possible catastrophe to a perfect night. we came and set ourselves 3 grown-up 2 little children. we ordered drinks etc. the children were put down. then we ordered food and said they had no diligence. so our favorite baskets and pizzas were out of the question. such a scandal. beautiful katie was sympathetic and so nice to my children. we were offered a few on the house weeping and a 'extra special' dessert for my children for after. we were made to feel very special and it turned into such a beautiful night! thank you, catie and john. beautiful love to detail and customer service! beautiful eating as always! thanks, youngs. x"

"Had the BEST experience at this restaurant, went with my sister, ordered one of the hot dogs, my sister ordered the ribs. We were sat down by a young girl who asked for our drink order, we ordered and waiting a little for them, then our server came over, his name was kieran, we told him we were still waiting on our drinks he came over straight away. Had a lovely chat with him, he asked for our order, the food came quick, he asked if we needed a tip up on our drinks, checked our meal was okay and it was lovely. He was SO attentive, smiley and couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. Could not recommend this service more due to this young man. He had us laughing the whole time, couldn’t of done more, he was like this with every table he served :"

"we squeezed in, even though we're booked out. sarah was excellent when providing a first-class customer service. she gave us a warm welcome and even spared us 5 minutes to ask us for our day. it was always attentive, offers us more drinks, check if we are comfortable and recommend dishes from the menu. It is amazing to see a “Hands-on” manager that is on the floor, with the rest of the team that is looking for guests. eating was hot, tasty and served quickly. would definitely recommend it and visit again soon."

"The reservation wasn't acknowledged, so it wasn't in the system. Luckily, there was a table available, but this could have been an issue if the restaurant had been busier. "Visited on a sunny afternoon. We were seated outside, which was busy when we arrived. We waited 20 minutes to order drinks and then almost the same again till we got them. We ordered our food. This came out within half an hour, which was fine. We had a knife on the plate, but sat for 10 minutes before we could attract a waiters attention to ask for a fork. We received our forks, but ended up going inside to ask for serviettes and sauces. The food was nice, but whilst we were waiting two other tables had arrived then walked out. After we had finished we asked for the bill. We mentioned a voucher we had been emailed for 33% off. We tried to access our F&B app, without success. The waiter then said they block the app on Saturday effectively stopping you accessing your offers. He did honour our discount which is the least they could do for the slow service. My friend even found the restaurant’s add for a general manager and contemplated applying for it! We both work in the hospitality trade and considered the service bad. We were surprised as we left via the main restaurant to discover it was empty. We had expected it to be full as we had to wait so long."

"On arrival we informed the hostess that we had an offer that was a meal and a drink for £5.99 , she told us it was only for a meal but we told her the offer included a drink and showed her the offer , she again said it was only for the meal but would ask her manager , she came back and told us that the manager had said the same that it was only for a meal , I showed the manager the voucher and she said she would go and check the terms and conditions , she came back and told us we were actually right , we had an email with the headlines “ Meal and a drink for £5.99” It made us feel very uncomfortable and we could not wait to leave !"

"We had some negative experiences at different restaurants in the past, including this one. However, we had a great evening tonight and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was empty, so we were seated immediately. The staff was incredibly attentive, and our food arrived quickly. While it wasn't piping hot, it was very delicious. As a family, we managed to enjoy our meal for £25, including drinks. Our little ones were a bit messy and noisy, but the staff remained very friendly and accommodating. Based on the excellent service we received, we would definitely return. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff!"

"The food in this Frankie and Benny's is probably the best I've had. Even better than the London restaurants. The BUT is that the service lets it down.. it's very slow. I totally understand that it gets busy and we unfortunately went at a very...busy time, it just seems like the place is very under staffed and Its not fair on the staff that are working their butts off trying to serve and keep everyone happy in a huge packed out restaurant. Our waitress was lovely, although very clearly stressed and running around like a headless chicken all evening she still had a smile on her face and still kept a sense of humour. She was very welcoming and friendly sadly we didn't get her name so I can't give a shout out. Back on to the food it was incredible. SO nice! We shared a started of Mozzarella sticks and meat balls Al Forno, the sauce was really well made, full of flavour, definitely would recommend. (pork meatballs not beef though, just a heads up). The main course came, piping hot and again, full of flavour. Probably the best burger i've had in a while. I hate when you get served a beef burger and its dry. This was defintely not dry it was lovely. Can't comment on dessert because we didn't have time as we were heading over to watch a movie at cineworld and we were just too full from the starter and main courses. The portion sizes were just right. The cocktails were really good too. We also had a shot of Limoncello, which was suggested by our waitress. I enjoyed, sadly my boyfriend found it a bit hard to swallow lol. Will 100% be returning. We had a great evening. Thank you."
