"Been a while since a been in this place its a,lot cleaner then the gate one service is a lot better very polite didnt have some foods in what we asked for we ordered fish and chips garden peas were as dry as a marbles didnt have a option for mushy peas ...even through they describe it as a English dish? NO cherry in the American soda ...shudnt advertise it if they dont add it you get a very small portion of fries ...to the point your not satisfied it will be a while now till a go back as its like there scrimping on the food but your still paying top dollars to eat in there also why is the air con turned up so high it felt like a was dining outside in the street ...waited at least 25mins for main and it wasnt even busy god help anyone if they go in when it is ...."

It has a chill vibe, love the stands (because the group eats this), there are tables for 2 as well as the lighting is nice the music too. The food presentation is sweet as you can see below.

Decided to dive into an impromptu dinner. We had really great (and helpful) service, and the food was surprisingly fantastic. The best chicken wings (with Nashville hot sauce) we've ever had. Portion size was massive, definitely enough to fill you. Burgers and chips were also excellent. The atmosphere/music was cozy, friendly and created an authentic American diner feeling. Because of this experience, I probably come back.

Excellent location just off Northumberland Street, great to meet up with Friends there. The cost is reasonable depends on what you get, obviuosly coctails and wine may up the price. The food is nice and I enjoyed the garlic pizza bread the last time I went. The desserts are very nice too. The staff are friendly and the chefs prepare the food in an open kitchen where you have full view of them. The decor is New York Italain and the music played is quiet cool you can even buy the cd. Overall a good reasonably priced meal for an evening out, with friends, family of your partner

Hmmm... i wasn't really sure how to rate this one. On the face of it, Frankie Benny's restaurant is nice, great food and great service. Yet there seems to be something missing which i can't quite put my finger on. i think its to do in that it seems a little too themed or generic. All of the restaurants in this chain appear to be the same with the same menu. But i suppose that what is to be expected! The food itself is really tasty and there is a wide choice, even for vegetarians. it is served quickly, and served with a smile too which is great! Frankie bennys offer a wide selection of good food at a reasonable but certainly not cheap price and the Newcastle branch is no exception. Excellent service is gaurenteed even when packed which is mostly always as they actually have enough staff to serve people, which is novel these days! Good atmosphere with italian background music and various bits of kitch with links to the Rat Pack, suitable for familys, couples and large groups. The booths also add an nice touch of privacy if you so wish. However, one drawback for me is the cost of snacks snadwiches, often a mainmeal is only a pound or two more and works out better value

Well it 's not that bad but it 's not all good either! Food was very nice apart from the main dish of fish and chips. Fish was well cooked but some of the chips were actually raw. That was all for the food as everything else we had was great. I did ask for a vodka on the rocks and I just got a straight vodka that was supposed to be Smirnoff but wasn 't strong enough. The music that used to be all 40 's 50 's and 60 's was now a weird mix from the 40 's right up to the 90 's. We even had a song with the lyrics girl I wanna make you sweat which is off putting when you 're not eating. Sadly I think it 's time to say no to another visit to Frankie and Benny 's.
