"As a Curry conessuir hailing from Birmingham I was delighted to stumble across this Gem in Bangor a couple of weeks back. We recieved a warm greeting and was shown to our seats. I noted the place was spotlessly clean with gleaming glass and tableware. A pleasant volume of Indian music was playing. And the decor although garish added to the expierience and authenticity. Our drinks orders taken within seconds poppadoms arrived. I perused the Menu. Slightly disappointed that some of the hotter variants that are found around Birmingham Chicken tikka Tawa) were not on the menu, I was delighted to see my favourite starter King prawn bhuna on puri which arrived cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour. For main I settled for Chicken tikka massage with Pilau rice and a Peshawari naan. I have to say it was heavenly. The portion was huge but I ate it all because to waste any would be a crime. I left, feeling stuffed and extremely satisfied."

"Had food here and the carvery was fine. Bar staff were sharp and nice. the place is very big but I have never been in there late. Loads of ex footballers come to the pub for events so it has a been football following and live music. Not sure if it felt like my kinda evening venue so I never tried. Its the same sort of thing as the Bell and the Carpenter. They all start to blend one into the other with styling, menus and target markets. If its your thing go for it."

"The Lily is a solid Indian/Bengali restaurant. They have a good variety of dishes and do them fairly well.I like the decorations of the place, it has that old intimate feel you seldom find in London Curry Houses these days.Service is fine both if you are eating in and if you get food to take home. They have a delivery service but it is better to take-away as the one time it was delivered to me the food was cold.I think it has a good standard that has been maintained over the years but is not really among the top places in its price range. In the area it is probably the best of its kind but I would not travel for a meal specifically."

"Had an incredible experience, the place has completely changed under the new management since last year. We happened to go in by chance and were really surprised by the great service. The team was very pleasant and brought ice cream for the little one. They were attentive and the taste was very delicious. We ordered the Tawa for two and thinking it may have a small portion ordered one dish extra too but the tawa was quite large."

"for ten years in hove, but since the descent from london we have not really rated any of the tandoori here. step in 'kemp spices'.... restored my believe in Indian outlier here. Eating is always delicious and freshly cooked to order. I live in hove and they always deliver me despite the distance. owners are very nice and they will retain my loyalty to the foreseeable future. Give them a try. you will not be disappointed."

"This restaurant is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in Glasgow. I have no complaints about this place at all. I have been a regular here for quite some time now."

"We went to this pretty traditional Indian restaurant with a good friend to visit London. We chose the menu for two for £27. For that price you have onion bhajis, then a chicken tika masala and chicken curry with a side of sag aloo goa. We ordered an extra portion of taka dal. The sag aloo dal and had a good taste but the curry was quite sosa and I'm not sure they were just made. The service seemed a little ropy sometimes too much, especially when one of the waiters connected to my friend as he finished his start. I had the general feeling that the waiters were more interested in ensuring the orderly development of liquidating tables of the comfort of their comensals. In general, the quality of the food does not reach the cost that ended up being 60 pounds for two with wine. There are certainly other Indian restaurants in the Notting Hill and Bayswater area as they deserve our best."

"This restaurant was a terrible experience. Despite being recommended by a few people, as regular Indian food eaters, we can say it was the worst we've ever had. The owner was rude and made his young staff deal with customer complaints. It was concerning to see no Asian or Indian employees present and hear arguments from the kitchen. We felt sorry for the staff, who seemed scared of the owner, Darius. When we tried to address the issues, he threatened to call the police. It's a shame to see the customer always being right mentality lost. We hope that the staff find better opportunities at other restaurants in Bath where they won't be bullied or intimidated."

"I took my parents here for a meal, because I thought it looked nice. an upscale Indian restaurant with upscale trips. what a disappointment. the staff was slow and unstoppable. eating was very moderate and was not even sharp when it arrived at the table. I refused to pay the service fee included in the bill. first, because it was more than I usually wanted to go as a drink, and secondly, because I didn't want to leave at all. that has split the staff even more. they didn't even understand what I meant, why or what I asked them to take the bill off. we waited so long until the new bill arrives that I end up simply about the...more"

"many vegetarian and gluten-free options. the menu has some really interesting options as well as the normal favorites, and eating was really delicious and well presented. the service was quick and friendly and the seat was comfortable. it is also so beautiful near the river for a walk afterwards. easy to foot from the most important hotels in the environment. I would recommend it again."
"Ever since I was introduced to Indian and Asian cuisine at the age of 14, I have lived in Fleet for the past 23 years. The Golden Triangle is my favorite restaurant in Fleet due to its inviting atmosphere. I have tried other restaurants in the area such as Gulshan, We, Dansiri, Chutneys, Indiana Spice, Zaal, and Ghurka Square, but what sets the Golden Triangle apart for me is the exceptional service. The wait staff are always friendly, polite, and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure that every guest has a memorable dining experience. The communal spirit among the staff creates a welcoming environment, and the food is truly a culinary delight. Each dish on the menu has its own unique flavor, with the lamb standing out as particularly well-cooked and flavorful. I recommend trying some of the Nepalese or North Indian specialties on the menu for a truly authentic experience. The only downside I have encountered is that the naan bread can sometimes be overcooked. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service offered, and while it may be a bit pricier than some other options, the overall experience is well worth it. The only improvement I would suggest is updating the wee menu to better complement the dishes offered. Overall, I have been a loyal customer of the Golden Triangle for over a decade, as I believe it is one of the best restaurants in Fleet alongside my other favorite, The Bay Leaf."

"while you could eat decent, their attitude is not. I don't think they appreciate Indians coming into their restaurant. sat with my man for dinner and was received colder than anywhere in Britain. it would have been okay if they didn't know much about customer service or weren't polite. but what was discouraging was that they visited all the other guests (from different nationalities) in their restaurant with a lot of warmth and regularly checked for their experience, while we feel unintentional during our short stay there for dinner. even after the question, they have not proposed anything to us in proportions or orders. if we needed something and our hand raised, they would just look away. So if they are Indians, they must skip this place completely. there are many possibilities close to, and even if eating there is half good, at least they will treat them with more respect."

"Been to few Indian restaurants in my time, but this is the worst ever! Poppadom to start that had a funny smell. Daughter had onion rings that were orange. Wife had onion bhaji that was a slab on her plate. I had the prawn poori that was a mess on the plate. All came with a side salad of slice of cucumber, of tomato and a small handful of lettuce. Got worse when the main meals came, handful of chicken pieces that were tough and the rest was a tasteless sauce. None of us finished the meal. Bill was presented before the table had been cleared, down the drain!! to cap it all after we left my wife told me that the Indian waiter behind the bar stared at her during the meal and my daughter told me she had found plastic in her meal! Anybody who is thinking of eating here AVOID !!"

"I used to come to this spot with my mum and dad about 18 years ago and I’m so glad it’s kept its overall outstanding service. I have been about 6 times over the past 12 months (once for Christmas Day) and they never disappoint. The management and staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is always amazing. Keep up the great work guys and I will see you again once I have lost a few pounds."

"We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident after struggling to find a place to eat in Looe or Polperro. Despite being tired and soaked from the rain, the staff greeted us warmly. Initially, I thought I would only be able to have poppadoms and rice, but then I noticed a 'vegan friendly' symbol on the menu. I asked our waitress about vegan options and she informed me that everything is made to order and can be made vegan. I was impressed! I ended up enjoying a vegetarian korma made with coconut milk, mushroom rice, momo, and a tandoori roti. The waitress even double-checked that the vegetable samosas were not vegan. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant if you find yourself in the area."
