"This restaurant has absolutely no understanding of Indian cuisine. I hate to leave a negative review, but this place truly deserves it. I went in for takeout and ended up waiting an hour before I could finally leave with my order. The food was unbelievably terrible and ended up being thrown away. We ordered butter chicken, spicy chicken curry, rotis, and rice. The butter chicken was the worst I've ever had in my life - the color was like taxi yellow and it was so sweet that it tasted like a dessert rather than a main course. It was like someone had mixed chicken into a bowl of sweetened cream. The spicy chicken curry was also awful - no spice, no flavor, just plain disgusting. The rotis were made of maida and tasted like crumbly pizza. The papads were rice papads instead of the traditional North Indian ones. The restaurant had locals dining in, and I hope they get the chance to taste authentic Indian or Pakistani food elsewhere. There are definitely much better Indian restaurants in the UK, despite this one calling itself the "Star of Bombay." Truly disappointing."

We were pleasantly impressed by the friendliness and delicate kindness of the staff as well as the quality of food. We will definitely be back

Seems coconut is the only flavoring they haveWhether it was the Chana masala or the butter chicken or the peshwari nan it all tasted like coconut.

Once again working late, a colleague and I decided to visit this restaurant on Saturday night. It was nearly empty, with only one other diner present.

The food was delicious, but unfortunately the service was lacking at this restaurant. Our server was very rude, even though we were the only ones dining there.

Ok, the décor is rather 80s/90s, but don't let that put you off coming here for a meal. I found the service to be good, the food well prepared and presented and the taste very good

The food was absolutely tasteless. We got the chicken curry which tastes like pre-made tomato paste with chicken pieces. If you like very mild flavoured curry without spices you might like this. But there are much better options save yourself from an this awful food.

I hadn't been in this restaurant for over 20 years and it was like stepping back in time. We had thalis, meat and vegetables. Big rations and the food was fine, but nothing special. The version included a meat dish to the vindaloo that was a surprise with the inevitable consequences! Regid with a beer.

A beautiful little Indian restaurant. Wonderful food. The best Indian I ever had in London. I can definitely recommend the tandoori mixed grill. Wonderfully presented good taste and good size portion. It comes complete with a naan and a curry sauce more like a tomato soup, absolutely beautiful. Very good price. If you go, remember to pay only what you have, any cash tips. We had a great meal and I can't complain, apart from past fashion decoration, but that was no detraction, as the food was very good.

We went to this pretty traditional Indian restaurant with a good friend to visit London. We chose the menu for two for £27. For that price you have onion bhajis, then a chicken tika masala and chicken curry with a side of sag aloo goa. We ordered an extra portion of taka dal. The sag aloo dal and had a good taste but the curry was quite sosa and I'm not sure they were just made. The service seemed a little ropy sometimes too much, especially when one of the waiters connected to my friend as he finished his start. I had the general feeling that the waiters were more interested in ensuring the orderly development of liquidating tables of the comfort of their comensals. In general, the quality...
