"Tarana Review of Tarana restaurant Lingfield , location is very prominent , on the main High Street. The restaurant can be easily be seen on the high street after passing the roundabout as you enter the high street . As you enter the front door , you quickly realise it’s so large in size and very spacious with colourful lighting. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated with a wow factor , great ambiance . As you walk through there is lounge bar area on the left to enjoy a drink before you are seated to your table. Tonight we are here to dine and enjoy the Dua Lipa live tribute singing and dancing so great atmosphere here tonight ! They have a wonderful range of cocktails non alcoholic and alcoholic with exciting range of drink menu . Great if you’re driving and not in to alcohol , the choice is unlimited unlike your usual typical indian with basic soft drinks . There is dance floor to do some hip hop or just slow , choice is yours! We have been to most of their restaurants and it’s “simply the best” in terms of entertainment food and drinks . "Decide to go for some Indian food and wanted to explore the scene around Brick Lane. The word was that this restaurant was one of the better ones, so we decided to give it a try. Because we would be checking out the nightlife, we booked our reservation for after eight. As we walk to it, we passed many places that were empty or half full and expected that would be true of Bengal Village. To our pleasant surprise this was not the case. The place was filled with dinners bringing a nice energy to the room. We began and were greeted with Popadoms and chutneys. Next came Samosas, meat and vegetable, the meat ones had nice heat to them that did not over power, while the vegetable ones had little heat and were more perfumed. All and all a nice contrast between the two. For our mains, we ordered the Chicken Tikka Cham Cham and the Lamb Achari. The chicken had a nice sweetness to it, with just enough heat, in short, it was balanced. The flavours of the Lamb Achari, were more pronounced. The had more heat to it and a note of cardamom. The seasoning of the dish offset the lambs meatiness without taking away the flavour of it. The meats of the Cham Cham and the Achari were both cooked to perfect tenderness. The dishes were accompanied with a side of rice and nan bread. Our waiter was pleased when we balked at the offering of a garlic bread, opting for the traditional nan instead. Throughout the night we found the waiters to attentive and helpful, if not a bit rushed. Then again, when left the room was just as crowded, with tables in demand. Clearly the Bengal Village has earned a well deserved reputation for its food. Dinner for two, before drinks and tip: £36.60"

"Before I start, you need to know I have never given such a bad review I am a very reasonable and accurate reviewer. But you should never visit this one. My friend and I called in to this unpreposessing restauarant round the back of Paddington. We just wanted a quick meal and it was the closest on Open Table it was 11pm on a Friday night. We were the only people in there. It was very basic no carpet, crappy chairs, tiny. We ordered tap water and a beer. He brought bottled water, and just poured it I assumed it was one of those places where they serve tap water in their own bottles, so said nothing. He kept pushing the more expensive lines and I fell for it without thinking so, we asked for a chicken curry and a lamb one. He suggested duck, without me realising how much more it was. He also suggested a couple of samosas whilst they were cooking the main meal so we agreed. To be fair, the food was OK, nothing special, but the bill was nearly £50. The water and beer alone were £10. I paid on a card and the machine asked me how much I wanted to tip. I tried to continue, but the system wouldn't let me. I asked him and he added one penny as a tip which is in itself outrageous. I didn't complain at the time although it was clear from my approach to the tip what I thought! because my friend hates me getting into arguments on the spot, and I didn't want to offend her. I am sure I am not the only person who has this experience with friends. I asked for a bill so I could see the breakdown and all I got was the total on a strip of paper. There are plenty of better places to eat near here and I'm really disappointed that Open Table continue to do business with this devious crowd. They should be removed."
