"I visited Deli Flavour with my elderly mum and her elderly friend. The friend is one of the fussiest eaters I know and my mum, who is recovering from a major operation, had lost her appetite. Both my mother and her friend are still talking about the best sandwiches they've ever had. Well done Deli Flavour for giving my mum her appetite back. I'm pretty fussy myself being vegan and a stickler for quality food. My own sandwich was heavenly. I was so happy to see a good selection of vegan options and all really tasty. I was just a little sad that my sandwich was so filling that I didn't have room for one of their delicious looking vegan cakes. I'll just have to go back another time. Keep up the good work guys. Good selection of beers too. I bought several."

"I don't recommend anyone to go to this location, the staff is a mess, they charge you to eat at the location but you don't have a table or a chair to sit, when you ask where you could sit, they tell you that they don't care and saying that is nothing to do with them"

"I have noticed The Apple Pie Cafe a few times as I passed through Ambleside and finally decided to give it a try while looking for afternoon tea during a recent visit to the Lake District. Their menu prominently features Our Famous Apple Pie, so I had to order it. I chose the version with mixed spice and sultanas, and it exceeded all expectations. The pastry was light and crumbly, the Bramley apples were deliciously tangy, and the spices and sultanas added a festive touch. It was possibly the best apple pie I have ever had. I will definitely be returning to enjoy it again on my next visit to the Lake District in December. Additionally, the cafe also offers B&B and self-catering accommodation, which I haven't tried yet but would be interested in trying in the future."

"Delicious and welcoming Wow how on earth have we not come accross this before, looking for somewhere to eat on a busy Saturday with pride, rugby and the your of Britain in the city we walked a little further the normal to find somewhere to eat with space amd here we found the Cavern working with adults with varying different abilities and difficulties I was excited to findout what the Cavern was all about. It's more then just a cafe/ restaurant it's a safe place to relax , a venue of many talents and really has it all. The menu was brilliant has lots and lots of choice and even a specials board too where we chose the mac and cheese with garlic bread at just £5. The food was absolutely amazing, came quick and hot and most definitely a service with a smile. It's worth mentioning the coffee too this was some of the best coffee I've had in Gloucester! Was there anything to pick out that could be better at such a great venue well maybe there where a few areas that could do with a good clean but it's moat certainly wasn't anything to take away form this epic venue and the worm they do. This is now my favourite go to spot for food and a drink. Thanks the Cavern and please pass on all my thanks to the team on Saturday 9th Couldn't wait to return so went back today 16th /9/23 they where very acomadateing with a meal request we had and sorted it, we also had to pannis that came with crisps and salad it was super tasty sorry we didn't get a photo but can recommend the halloumi, bacon and chilli jam one !"

"Such a shame, had been to this pub years ago and it was amazing. Chose it to celebrate my birthday with my family. There were 9 of us. What a shocker, never have we ever been served such poor food. Fish was awful, over cooked and hardly any fish when you broke the batter. The fries were like a cheap version of stringfellows. Fillet steak ordered medium was well over done, ribs were like mush. The cook (not chef) was sitting in the bar on our arrival and went into the kitchen to rustle up our meals. We all left hungry, and we didn't pay for the steak and the fish, really the whole lot should have been refunded for the worst ever dining experience we have ever had, we even got my birthday cake back from behind the bar to take home as we couldn't bare being in there anymore. No Manager came to apologise and it was left to a young girl to deal with us. Had it been my pub I would have done everything to try and resolve. I would have preferred them to reject the booking if they could not cater for a large party. Awful and such a shame."

"This cafe was located a short drive from my nans house. I had messaged the cafe to see if they would be so kind as to reserve us a table as my nan is anxious leaving the home and with the cold weather I didn't want to be looking around ,Marie kindly helped with this. When we arrived the cafe was packed and quickly realised how kind of them it was to reserve us a table. The menu was just right for the cafe with offering many lunch snacks including club sandwiches, soup, bagels paints and jacket potato. Unfortunately they had just sold out of jacket potatos but the chef kindly said if we were happy to wait a while he will cook some more for us. Take my word for it , it was worth the wait. Large fluffy and plenty of filling was well worth the money. In the time we were there we saw many customers a good sign of a very popular place. Would certainly visit again when in the area."

"We visit the Osteria whenever we’re in Arundel, for espresso and light bites. The Osteria is the Italian café on the ground floor of the Italian restaurant Pappardelle, in the centre of Arundel. We’ve been going there for a number of years now the staff are always welcoming and friendly, and the coffee and food are very nice. The place has a style all its own, and we always feel relaxed and happy when we visit. Well recommended."

"My children and I found Stickyweeds to be an absolutely wonderful little shop when we visited a few weeks ago. Our first impressions of the shop upon entering were very positive. It was a gorgeous, cosy looking place. The tables were clean and augured well for the rest of our visit. We ordered some drinks and cakes, and it’s fair to say we were not disappointed with what we received. Mine was a lovely hot latte, just the right strength. It was perfect. My children, bless them, commented how lovely their “super duper amazing hot chocolate” was. They loved it! The cakes were absolutely spectacular. My lemon drizzle was absolutely divine, and my children said their gigantic slices of chocolate cake were better than the ones I make! They were homemade too, so do please pass on my congratulations to the mastermind behind them. The staff were so lovely and made us feel very welcome. We shall almost certainly be back to sample the lunch menu. I couldn’t recommend this place more."

"being fair, eating was nice and so is keeping. my question is with the manager owner (I assume that this is his roll, since he was dressed in comparison to the waiting personal wise, the whole evening was put by him on a small note that his admiration for vladimir putin and the support for the war in the ukraine said. with his glorification of donald trump. each has claim to his own views, (I certainly do not share them), but I do not think it is really appropriate to share them in the length with customers. bad hospitality. by the way, he didn't wear masks."

"I would not recommend going back to this restaurant. The service was terrible. Despite a banner outside advertising a vegan menu, when we inquired about it we were met with disdain. The restaurant is marketed as a "health bar," so one would expect vegan options, but we decided to order anyway. I ordered a falafel wrap, which was of good quality, while my partner requested a jacket potato without cheese or butter. My dad ordered a full English breakfast, and my grandad ordered a chicken wrap. The person taking our orders, who I assume is the owner, struggled to listen to our entire order and had to take each item separately, making us feel like a burden. The food took a long time to arrive, and when it did, it was brought out at different times. Despite multiple requests for the jacket potato to be served without cheese and butter, it still arrived with both toppings. The staff apologized, but we had to wait for a new jacket potato, by which time everyone else had finished their meals. Additionally, the cutlery on the tables was dirty, and we had to get up to replace it ourselves without receiving an apology. It's unfortunate, but it seems like this place is being run by inexperienced staff who lack hospitality skills and do not care about their customers."

"Such a shame. Food was pretty average and the speed of service was ok. My pizza was just about cooked and the other meals for our table were cooked ok. The place has zero atmosphere and the waiter although pleasant had the charisma of a brick. We tried it once when it first opened so we thought we would give it a second chance. We will not be going back for a third. I would say considering that nothing was terrible this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever. I have no idea why on earth anyone could have given this restaurant a 4 or 5 star rating. My advice is you are thinking about going, don’t and order a take away as it will be far more exciting and the delivery person will add more fun to the occasion that you will get in this place."

"My boyfriend works at Murrayfield, so he is a huge fan of Vigo's. I have had a takeaway from here before, but recently they've opened a cafe in Corstorphine, which we decided to try this week. Before we stepped inside I had already decided I was having the Mexican chicken wrap, however once presented with the menu my mind was torn! The choices are not extensive but I could have ordered almost everything on the menu. After a lot of deliberating I went with the black and blue salad. If the rest of the menu is anything to judge my salad on then you can't go wrong; it was delicious! The flavour of the chicken, the blue cheese and the dressing all worked so well together. The portion size was perfect and it was served with crispy bread, which was a nice extra. The cafe itself is one big room and although the have tried to make it more homely, it's not the most relaxing of places. However all of this is forgotten as soon as you taste the food. There are also a couple of window seats that looked pretty comfortable. I would recommend both Vigo's Deli and Cafe to people looking for a good value lunch!"

"Chill place to spend time. We went with my girlfriend on a Sunday afternoon to study for uni. Great atmosphere, quiet downstairs happy vibes upstairs. Staff is very friendly. The food is various and tasted good, and also the prices are good. The hot drinks are various too as you can have lactose free milk: soya, oat, and coconut. The coffee tasted regular. Definitely recommend the salads and the sandwiches, vegan options available. The WiFi was not working unfortunately but overall positive experience. We will be back but not to study until internet works well."

"I am always on the lookout for independent coffee shops, and StoryHouse is a real hidden gem. While the outside chairs may appear a bit worn, it is only cosmetic. The variety of cakes available is wonderful, with options such as Chocolate Banana Loaf (V), Passionfruit Drizzle, Raspberry Ripple Loaf, Coffee Candied Pecan (V), and Croissant Loaf. I decided on the Persian Love Loaf (LG) adorned with rose petals and pecans, and it was a fantastic choice. For those not interested in coffee, the tea served in funky glass teapots looks enticing as well. I will definitely be returning to StoryHouse again in the future."

"The coffee was good and the staff were polite. However, I was disappointed with the breakfast. Although I understand that some elements may be fried, I had the garden breakfast and everything from the tomatoes to the haloumi was fried. While they tasted good, the overwhelming taste of oil left me feeling unwell. The toast was not fried, which was a relief. The portions were served on huge plates with not much food on them. The server tried to spread out the food best he could. The cost was £12, which I do not believe was value for money. Overall, I was not satisfied with the experience."

"I had a fantastic oat milk latte at this charming café. It is dog friendly and the staff even gave my dog two treats. The café has a nice, cozy atmosphere and seems very clean. Although I got a takeout order, it was still a pleasant visit. The service, food, and atmosphere all received a perfect rating of 5. The price per person is affordable, ranging from £1–10."

"nice eating and good selection of meals and drinks. great looking building, but very cramped and loud inside. the service seemed quite unorganized; had to remind the staff of beverage orders and we were asked more than once for our order, but the staff was apologetic for it. we visited on a Saturday night so would recommend ariete, but possibly a less busy time"

"White Pine offers a wide variety of delicious vegan dishes, along with a selection of home decor items to browse while you wait for your meal. Although the prices are quite high (my iced coffee was £7), the quality is excellent. We tried the acai bowl and a sandwich for breakfast, both of which were enjoyable. Additionally, there is outdoor seating available, providing a serene atmosphere despite being in a bustling part of London!"
