Vigo is an absolutely fantastic deli. Clean, fresh generous portions served in a lovely atmosphere. The staff are friendly and accommodating. If you havent had a toasted wrap here, you haven't lived.

Yes, totally agree with Terry W. 's review. In addition they also have a great selection of Cobb loaves, rolls, breads etc that although not baked on the premises, are brought in fresh daily. A really convenient thing given Roseburn doesn 't have a specialist bakery.

On a spottily rainy morning, I toddled in the direction of Murrayfield stadium stopping for some breakfast sustenance at Vigo, a smart little deli in Roseburn. The interior was very charming with a strong emphasis on wood and a lots of nice detailing. I liked it very much. It wasn’t immediately clear what best to have for breakfast so I asked the friendly counter woman. She recommended a ham and cheese stuffed croissant which sounded good to me. I added an espresso.

There is always a good special on, the last time I went there the special was a spicy chicken wrap with salsa and cheese and it was delicious and only cost £2.80! They also have a good range of fillings on other baguettes and sandwiches and all the ingredients that they use are fresh. Furthermore they have a good range of coffees including lattes, espressos and cappuccinos as well as tea and cold drinks. My boyfriend works at Murrayfield, so he is a huge fan of Vigo's. I have had a takeaway from here before, but recently they've opened a cafe in Corstorphine, which we decided to try this week. Before we stepped inside I had already decided I was having the Mexican chicken wrap, however once presented with the menu my mind was torn! The choices are not extensive but I could have ordered almost everything on the menu. After a lot of deliberating I went with the black and blue salad.
