"Came here with family after the cinema since we'd heard good things and we're glad we did. It was quiet, so no wait for a table. The menu had quite a variety to work from, pizzas, burgers, pasta and more! I forgot to take food pictures since it looked so good when it arrived that we started eating straight away : My son was a bit disappointed in his burger, since he's used to having a choice of getting it Medium and it came well done by default."

"Now as most people who know me are aware that this girl loves her burgers, can't get enough of them I'm always willing to try new varieties etc. I ordered online from Frankie Benny's a burger chips with a starter. It was delivered on time it was still quite warm, just not hot. Which was okay as at least it wasn't cold it was being delivered approx 4 miles from the restaurant to my home. It arrived in a box which opens up like a plate saved me having to use anything else apart from my fingers to eat with. The burger was nicely cooked after I removed the soggy lettuce tomato I demolished it very quickly. A girl who loves her food says Yummmm!! Chips were a little hard for me, as they had lost heat in their travels so I didn't eat them. I have visited Frankie Benny's many many times I've always enjoyed the food their drinks. The staff are friendly helpful. You can also see into their open kitchen to see the food being prepared. I do recommend this place for you to try. Have an awesome day!! "Visited Christmas eve, booked for 8pm, rang to say we may be a few minutes late to be told they close at 9pm,now I hadn't been told this very disappointed to say the least, there was 6 of us, we arrived on time and we ordered drinks and had 3 cokes a few cocktails when they arrived there was no syrup in the coke so just like drinking water, the manager came over and said quite abruptly I've tasted the coke and there's nothing wrong with it, so basically called us liars, I tasted it it was water, one of the team said it was a new recipe but I'm sorry coca cola is coca cola.i have visited here with family and never been treated so rudely. "Visited on Saturday afternoon, was very busy and we were left waiting in the doorway for at least 5 minutes before anyone came over to us. We were seated right at the back near the kitchen which was the busiest part, almost all tables were full. I don't know why we were seated here as there were many empty tables near the front. We ordered the chicken variety starter and the house burger. The starter arrived within 10 minutes and was generally good. The chicken on the scewers was dry but everything else was ok and presentation was good. The mains arrived and looked fine but the burgers were overcooked and tasted like carboard. The waiter completely lost interest in us once he delivered the main course, we planned to ask for another drink but didn't get the chance to ask. He was only interested in new customers coming in. We didn't finish the burgers and chose to leave. Again it took forever to catch the writers eye and ask for the bill. We paid by the F&B App, we used the 2 for 1 mains deal, it slightly made up for the food. I like the new App to pay as you don't feel so pressured to leave a tip when people don't deserve it."

"First visit and probably my last,wasn’t impressed at all with the presentation of my pizza,I did ask the server if the pizzas were thin she said yes,but didn’t think they would be as thin as they were ,also very insipid looking not very appetising to look at, I ordered a margarita pizza which I asked for olives which were green first time Ive had green olives on my pizza, also red onions which were chopped up into small pieces, when the pizza arrived at the table my plate underneath was black from the oven,and my pizza bottom was black as well not burnt black ash from the oven not appetising at all,I did take photographs of it, spoke to the server and told her to tell the chef, but it was like nobody cared, very poor show. Also your toilets were a mess toilet paper all over the floor no soap to wash your hands .Look at the pic and see if you would like that?"

"that was just a normal place to eat, we would eat here again; No. the service was mediocre, there were so many children at the point that it was difficult to hear the other person who spoke to them. when they made a birthday song, they played the music so loud that it was too much in a restaurant. the bathroom looked like it had not been touched in hours, maybe all afternoon, no toilet paper in one of the stands."

"The restaurant experience was very disappointing. Upon arrival, they claimed that there was no booking under my name despite providing confirmation. Eventually, we were seated after a 20-minute wait but the service was so slow that we ended up waiting 2 hours before leaving. When the desserts finally arrived, they assured us that the child's dessert would be ready in 2 minutes. However, we had all finished our desserts and had to remind them about my son's dessert, which still hadn't been served. Overall, I would not recommend visiting this restaurant again."

"I am a great fan of frankie and Benny’s, eating is generally always consistent and really quite delicious! I can say confidently that I have tried at least 1/3 of the menu and it is all really delicious! No matter what they choose, they will almost always get a really delicious meal! during the week they have in the rule a promotion for two courses and I recommend that for a cheaper meal, as a single meal can cost the same as the price the meal deal itself! this special industry is really beautiful and the staff is super friendly! I've never had a problem with eating. if they are on the royal mile, they should consider that this particular facility can be quite busy, so please note that in the head."

"Came here last week with my husband for a treat! Staff were attentive, customer service was second to none despite it being very busy. We were served by a lovely girl called Lizzie? Greeted with a lovely smile, gave us just the right time to chose, drinks out quickly and didn't feel rushed one bit! We said what a hard working team they were looked like they gelled well together, enjoying their shift! Great customer service is hard to come by these days so felt it worthy of note!!! "Our visit wasn't the best. When we arrived, we were informed that breakfast was quite hectic, so we had to wait. My main course had to be switched because it was not what I ordered. I also wanted the Mediterranean salad with beef, but when it arrived, it turned out to be just half a salad with some beef on the side, which I expressed to the waitress. We had to make an effort to flag down someone for our next orders. We were seated right behind the service area, which made us feel like we were in the way. On the upside, our waitress was new but very helpful, and we appreciated the 40% discount we received."

"My son took me for dinner here tonight and the food was excellent. I usually suffer from indigestion if I eat pizza as it's usually greasy, but this was light, crispy and really tasty. I also had a pecan pie cheesecake which was delicious. Our waiter, Jamie, was friendly, chatty and very attentive....he definitely deserves praise, as I will certainly return if his service is anything to go by. I hope he gets acknowledged for his excellent service, he certainly earned it. Thanks for a great evening."

"First time visiting Frankie and Benny's with a friend. We were politely welcomed to a seat and asked if we would like anything to drink before the waitress left. We asked for some time to decide what we wanted to order. The waitress returned promptly after serving customers who were ready to order. This was reasonable time for us. We then ordered drinks and two courses each. A starter and a main. The drinks were brought over in good time for us to settle and have a chat. The starters arrived not long after. My friend ordered a garlic bread pizza which he described as greasy but tasty. I decided to have the mozzarella dippers which tasted bland, even with the sauce. A couple of them were overcooked. For our mains we ordered a vegan burger with sweet potato fries and a plain 6oz burger with fries. The vegan burger was very tasty, however the sweet potato fries were slightly overcooked but still rather nice. The plain 6oz burger arrived : not plain. It had to be sent back and corrected. However my friend was pleased with it once it came back. We were rather full afterwards and decided to pass on trying a dessert. We asked for the tab and it came back to us at an incorrect amount. We soon realised they charged for a jug of the cocktail I ordered instead of a glass and 2 servings of coke. We brought this up to the waitress and she fixed the issue with the cocktail but informed us that because we ordered the coke from the main menu, instead of the side menu (even though they are the same price) that the refills would not be free. 7/10 food. 6/10 service. Wouldn't be somewhere I'd go back in a hurry as there are far superior eateries for similar prices."

"The prices at this restaurant are on the higher side, but I had a discount voucher. Honestly, I would be happy to pay full price to dine here, although it would have to be a special occasion rather than a regular outing. My burger was fantastic, and the children's meal was equally delicious, with a wide variety of options for kids—definitely the most extensive selection I've seen, including vegan pizza, which is rarely available for children. It was quite busy, and at times the service felt a bit slow, but it wasn't off-putting. The server appeared somewhat serious at first, but was actually very friendly and accommodating, and the bartender whipped up some amazing gin cocktails. Overall, the dishes were beautiful, with plenty of choices for both adults and kids, great drinks, and attentive staff. It's definitely worth a visit! Just be prepared for a bit of noise, as the acoustics in the building could use some improvement."

"I don't understand why this place has such high ratings. The food is terrible, like really, really bad. It's not just uninspired or inconsistent, it's consistently awful. The loud music and poor building design create a terrible echo that is only made worse by the numerous birthday groups celebrating. Every 5 minutes, your meal is interrupted by even louder music for another birthday. It's great for the person celebrating, but do I have to go deaf because of their poor choice in restaurants? No, thank you. Avoid this place at all costs."

"Been a while since a been in this place its a,lot cleaner then the gate one service is a lot better very polite didnt have some foods in what we asked for we ordered fish and chips garden peas were as dry as a marbles didnt have a option for mushy peas ...even through they describe it as a English dish? NO cherry in the American soda ...shudnt advertise it if they dont add it you get a very small portion of fries ...to the point your not satisfied it will be a while now till a go back as its like there scrimping on the food but your still paying top dollars to eat in there also why is the air con turned up so high it felt like a was dining outside in the street ...waited at least 25mins for main and it wasnt even busy god help anyone if they go in when it is ...."
