"we often stop here especially for Sunday brunch or fry. this Sunday we arrived without booking and we could get a great table even if it was very busy. I really enjoyed the fig and dolcelatte roast, it was delicious! the service was very good and lucy looked around and made sure everything was perfect! I love this place. the atmosphere, eating and service have never disappointed me! well recommended!"

"it has another wonderful meal with the family. we all selected from the fixed price menu and chose the 3 courses. it had changed since our visit, but equally pleasant. the restaurant was quite busy, although it was a Thursday night. the personal was, as always, very pleasant and attentive. great night outside. we seem to be a regular visitor with different groups of friends and family and all enjoy the eating and ambiente."

"We visit Aqua in Bromley on a fairly regular basis. The staff are always extremely welcoming especially Dasos. We ordered three meze boards and one steak which were all delicious, followed by Irish and Baileys coffees accompanied by Baileys Creme brûlée’s and a poached pear, everything was superb as always and we left having thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Hand sanitiser was readily available, tables were as per government guidelines, we had a screen in between our table and the next and everybody wore masks to go to the facilities. Well done Dasos and your team, keep up the good work"

"I have been to aqua on many occasions now.. first dates.. valentine's.. birthdays ... And on every occasion I have always been happy with the food, drinks and service ... If you visit on a Friday and a Saturday night the atmosphere is one of excitement and happyness.. I can today just for a lunch date as I knew it would be quiet ... "Mezzorama offers a delightful dining experience. The restaurant was almost full when we visited, filled with couples and small families, without any rowdy groups. The food and wine were both excellent, and the service was top-notch. The only suggestion I have is for them to add more dessert options that are not ice cream-based. Although my partner's steak was cooked rare instead of medium as requested, I'm sure they would have gladly fixed it if we had asked. Overall, Mezzorama offers great value for the price."

"I came into the lovely one right on Fulham road. Dare I say, the English breakfast tea at Nero’s is the best I’ve ever tasted, strong but not bitter, zesty but not sourish (completely succumbs other “luxury brands” like tea pigs and Twinings . The lady serving me poured a bit too much milk so I kindly asked her to make me another one with the consequence of having to pay for another one as I reached for my card. However, she did not stop for a moment, nor did she ask me to pay and swiftly made another one within seconds. Not only that but she poured me a generous amount of milk in a nespresso like cup for me to pour. I was impressed, full stop. Efficient, polite and professional. Wonderful. I had just come from an intensive study session from rival company Pret so was not my usual sharp self and proceeded to take out the teabag at the counter (where I would usually go to the small side one that accommodates milk, sugar, etc. . This lovely lady brought out a plate (that the eat in people have the luxury of and allowed me to place the teabag on it once I was done. It’s such a shame that I cannot remember her name to thank her individually. Anyhow, hopefully from this review, this particular branch can get full recognition and credit for their super staff and the services they provide."

"Waiting for the bus home opposite and finding out it wouldn’t come for another 25 mins, I decided to treat myself to a dinner out instead. An extremely warm welcome the instant I walked through the door and the best service I’ve had in a restaurant for a long time! The atmosphere is very relaxed, food delicious, very reasonable and really quick to be served too. The menu is really varied with some great pasta, pizza, salad, meat and seafood options so I’m sure there’s something for everyone. All in all, an accidental discovery, but a fantastic find and I’ll most definitely be back again soon thank you!"

"Excellent meal with great service. Catered very well for a member of our party with specific dietary requirements and altered a dish to suit a vegetarian. Nothing felt like it was too much trouble It wasn’t full at all and unlike in some places we weren’t all squashed together in one small area, but nicely spaced out. There were several birthday parties happening but the extra space between parties meant it didn’t feel too noisy or crowded. Will definately come back"

"I visited this caffe on my last visit to lunch. I had a tomato and olive bread bowl as well as an oyster mushroom bowl. both were not dinge that I would normally choose, but these were quite the vegan options. I was not disappointed, eating was absolutely delicious. the personal was friendly and attentive, without being over a buzz. it was lunch, but the caffe was quiet. I slept in the facility and in the atmosphere. a very pleasant (although fast lunch. would recommend if vegan did not go if they don’t like mushrooms, or call them to check over vegan options before arrival, I am positiw the personal would like to help."

"great food, great size of dishes, fast and courteous service. we were full and satisfied; I would recommend this place. I had a lamb moussaka while my friend had a grilled halloumi salat: both delicious; salat was warm a nice eating the “fork festival” offer included net, burger and chef specialties. it was good for us, as this is what we have come for, but if they were willing to start / desserts it would be full price. while we waited for the meal, we were served with olive and warm bread: we didn't wait long."

"Hugely disappointed at how much the Black Lion has gone downhill. We have been coming here for 2 years and have brought many friends and family for a Sunday Roast as in the past it has been the very best. It now seems that they are under new management and the service and quality of the food has dropped to a minimal standard. We brought our family for a roast expecting our usually lovely experience but were greeted with poor service, the wrong food being brought out, instructions ignored and a vodka and coke served in a pint of coke?! The food was disgusting...somewhat reminent of a school dinner, the meat thinly sliced and the gravy watery. The meal then ended with completely the wrong receipt being brought to the table with 5 extra items added. It's been a good run Black Lion but we will not be returning! Time to find a new roast!"

It was salted well, cooked well and tasted great. Probably the best mozzarella I've ever had. But this is a place better for a small group of 4-5 or a nice one-on-one date. "Upon our arrival, the waiter informed us that we did not have a reservation, even though we showed him confirmation emails and texts from OpenTable. He claimed to have checked at 4pm and our name was not on the list, therefore we could not be seated as they were fully booked. There was no apology, just a poor attitude. It was a very disappointing experience for our pre-show dinner, which we had booked almost a week in advance. We will not be making another reservation at this restaurant."
