"Bad food. Loooong wait both for drinks and food. Waiter (owner I was told) got 2 meals wrong. Brought calamari fritti for my husband and I which he never ordered in his life and I can 't stand them as they are like rubber in the UK so would never have ordered that. Waiter insisted I did, not once but 3x! My husband actually asked for whitebait! My husband ordered calf 's liver as a main which is soft and succulent in France, Germany and Greec etc. It was thin and like shoe leather. It is supposed to go into a hot pan, then turned over after a few seconds and taken out of pan served. This is what it should be like "A classic of British cooking, Calf 's Liver is succulently tender and fine grained with a deliciously mild, sweet flavour. More and more people are discovering the delicious flavour of Calf 's Liver due to its place on the menus.« I took it home to give to the dog and foxes!! My friend next to me (we were 13) ordered meatballs which were so salty she couldn 't eat them. Another lady didn 't like how the fish was done. It was mediocre. MY mussels had anorexia. I have photos. They were non existent or if there was one in the shell, it didn 't measure more than 5mm. 20 were empty and the sauce was not nice. Obvs they were not fresh mussels, they were cooked already and just heated up. Lots and lots of small broken shells in the sauce. Must have been the last dregs. Just as well I didn 't swallow one of the shards. Will I go back? No, I 'll go to a real Italian restaurant next time. Bragging about an Italian chef! He needs to go on a cookery course IN ITALY! I lived, ate and cooked there. I know what Italian food is supposed to taste like!!!!! And sooo expensive."

"Head staff were very rude and service terrible .. the main food took forever , sides didn’t come with the main dishes when they did finally arrive . Only one desert came we reminded them two times we was still waiting then the head waiter rudely told us we had to go asap because the table was needed . He still insisted while we politely explained the food had taken forever and we was still waiting on a desert . We ended up rushing and even had our drinks cancelled no finding us somewhere else to finish deserts and drinks absolutely appalling . On a plus the young girl serving was embarrassed and couldn’t understand the behaviour of her superiors , it’s a shame she wasn’t in charge . The only good thing about this place is convenience but there are plenty of better options as it certainly wasn’t a cheap night maybe we should have kept complaining instead of being patient . Avoid ."

"Terrible Experience Unkind Staff and Poor Service I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this bar and restaurant was so frustrating that I feel compelled to share. From the moment we walked in, the staff were unwelcoming and seemed irritated by our presence. It felt like we were an inconvenience to them rather than valued customers. Our server was rude and dismissive, barely paying attention to our requests and acting like we were wasting their time. When we asked simple questions about the menu, they responded with a condescending attitude, as if we were bothering them. The entire atmosphere was uncomfortable, with no warmth or friendliness from any of the staff. To make matters worse, the food took forever to arrive, and when it finally did, it was mediocre at best. Combine that with the rude service, and it was easily one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I definitely won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant night out. There are plenty of other places where the staff actually care about their customers. Avoid this place if you want to enjoy your evening!"

"We visit Aqua in Bromley on a fairly regular basis. The staff are always extremely welcoming especially Dasos. We ordered three meze boards and one steak which were all delicious, followed by Irish and Baileys coffees accompanied by Baileys Creme brûlée’s and a poached pear, everything was superb as always and we left having thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Hand sanitiser was readily available, tables were as per government guidelines, we had a screen in between our table and the next and everybody wore masks to go to the facilities. Well done Dasos and your team, keep up the good work"

"I have been to aqua on many occasions now.. first dates.. valentine's.. birthdays ... And on every occasion I have always been happy with the food, drinks and service ... If you visit on a Friday and a Saturday night the atmosphere is one of excitement and happyness.. I can today just for a lunch date as I knew it would be quiet ... The food was excellent and plentyfull as were the drinks.. as always I will be returned to my local goto restaurant."

"Mezzorama offers a delightful dining experience. The restaurant was almost full when we visited, filled with couples and small families, without any rowdy groups. The food and wine were both excellent, and the service was top-notch. The only suggestion I have is for them to add more dessert options that are not ice cream-based. Although my partner's steak was cooked rare instead of medium as requested, I'm sure they would have gladly fixed it if we had asked. Overall, Mezzorama offers great value for the price."

"I came into the lovely one right on Fulham road. Dare I say, the English breakfast tea at Nero’s is the best I’ve ever tasted, strong but not bitter, zesty but not sourish (completely succumbs other “luxury brands” like tea pigs and Twinings . The lady serving me poured a bit too much milk so I kindly asked her to make me another one with the consequence of having to pay for another one as I reached for my card. However, she did not stop for a moment, nor did she ask me to pay and swiftly made another one within seconds. Not only that but she poured me a generous amount of milk in a nespresso like cup for me to pour. I was impressed, full stop. Efficient, polite and professional. Wonderful. I had just come from an intensive study session from rival company Pret so was not my usual sharp self and proceeded to take out the teabag at the counter (where I would usually go to the small side one that accommodates milk, sugar, etc. . This lovely lady brought out a plate (that the eat in people have the luxury of and allowed me to place the teabag on it once I was done. It’s such a shame that I cannot remember her name to thank her individually. Anyhow, hopefully from this review, this particular branch can get full recognition and credit for their super staff and the services they provide."

We had made the reservation 2 weeks in advance only to find out that they had closed the day after we booked. It was disappointing that they took our reservation knowing they were going to close. "My son and girlfriend always rave about this restaurant in Islington. And at last we were able to join them. Quite frankly it doesn't get any better than this. Great traditional Italian food, served by highly efficient and friendly staff, and pleasant surprise when the bill came too, such great value for money. "great food, great size of dishes, fast and courteous service. we were full and satisfied; I would recommend this place. I had a lamb moussaka while my friend had a grilled halloumi salat: both delicious; salat was warm a nice eating the “fork festival” offer included net, burger and chef specialties. it was good for us, as this is what we have come for, but if they were willing to start / desserts it would be full price. while we waited for the meal, we were served with olive and warm bread: we didn't wait long."

"It was very good. The staff was very friendly and nice and the food took no time to make. it was, unfortunately, a little pricey. I ordered the margarita pizza, and it was very good. It was salted well, cooked well and tasted great. Probably the best mozzarella I've ever had. But this is a place better for a small group of 4-5 or a nice one-on-one date. "Upon our arrival, the waiter informed us that we did not have a reservation, even though we showed him confirmation emails and texts from OpenTable. He claimed to have checked at 4pm and our name was not on the list, therefore we could not be seated as they were fully booked. There was no apology, just a poor attitude. It was a very disappointing experience for our pre-show dinner, which we had booked almost a week in advance. We will not be making another reservation at this restaurant."
