"Ceviche had tables lit with candlelight which provided a really nice ambience. I hadn't had Peruvian food before and I was pleasantly surprised. We started with the Pork Chifa Tequenos which were delicious! We then had the Jalea steamed buns were delicious as well and were like Chinese Bao. The bun was delicious and fluffy and the deep fried bass inside was cooked perfectly! We then had the Don Ceviche and Camaron palteado which were quite nice as well. The lime/lemon flavours used in the curing were quite strong but the rest of the ingredients help to cut through it. We then had the Yucas which are fried cassava chips and I would recommend trying these if you haven't had them before....read more"

"terry laybourne is like writing about the church of england. it is easy to take a cheap shot on such an established institution, but on the back of their spirit they ask themselves whether it actually criticize sacrileg. herr laybourne has undoubtedly done more than anyone who has good food for himself in our region. he has brought new talent, promoted local ingredients and given us a taste of something really fine cooking. without him eating in newcastle would be a worse activity. but I didn't always love everything he does. sure, his caffé vivo received five stars and best italian from 2011; his broad chare pub received four stars and best gastropub gong; but his flagship...read more"

"Sunday dinner was very delicious. the jazz is wonderful. the floor manager is a superstar they should hold on to them, as it is difficult to find such rare gems. she has improved our experience with her radiant smiles. the roast lamb was very well cooked and the flower cauliflower cheese was very cheesy and creamy. highly recommended"

"During a recent trip to London, my Australian friends and I stumbled upon this charming bakery on a rainy, chilly day. Seeking refuge from the damp weather, we enjoyed a pot of tea along with some delicious croissants. The cozy bakery was filled with the aroma of freshly baked French pastries, making it the perfect spot to spend the afternoon. We ended our day with a comforting bowl of pumpkin and chili soup topped with feta and parmesan croutons. This hidden gem in London made our visit even more enjoyable. I love the city of London."

"During my visit to Edinburgh with my family, we stumbled upon Hau Han while searching for a good place to eat. I can confidently say that Hau Han is one of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever been to and I highly recommend it. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and we even had the pleasure of meeting the owner Derek and the rest of the staff - Emily and another girl who served us (unfortunately, I forgot to ask for her name before she finished her shift). They went above and beyond, even giving my mother free Chinese donuts to celebrate her birthday. We were extremely satisfied with the food and service we received. I would definitely give it a 10/10 and would come back to Scotland just to dine here again. It's a shame there isn't one in London!"

"In the last 12 months we have eaten here around 5 or 6 times, the food is fantastic ,the chicken satay skewers are the best i and indeed my friends have ever eaten (I would go just for these alone!! The rest of the menu is excellent, a good choice and great value for money, the steaks are worth a visit alone! I normally do not have a desert as the starter and main will always fill me up but on out last visit I also had a eaton mess for desert and was not disappointed, as I said the quality of the food shows to me good quality produce and obviously very well trained and educated chefs. Great service in a really well kept and presented establishment, attentive but not over bearing staff are happy to help and assist. And just to add we recently had a Sunday roast there and it was absolutely fantastic too. I can highly recommend a visit to this place and don't think you would be disappointed to do so. I can honestly say there are no negatives to me about this place at all and cannot praise these hard working guys enough, i am certainly now looking forward to our next visit as there are many more things on the menu I simply must try!!. So there you have it! In a nutshell this is a must visit restaurant and one I will definitely making a regular destination for a good meal. Thanks guys and compliments to you all"

"A huge disappointment as I'd been wanting to try this place out for a long time. Lovely looking pub with friendly staff but sadly it ended there . Friend ordered the soup of the day which consisted of about three mouthfuls of soup in a dish which was certainly not made for soup! I ordered the skate wing from the specials board. The fish was off, I tried two bites but the overwhelming smell of ammonia could be mistaken by no one . This also put doubt into my friend which had also ordered fish. We were offered a replacement choice but received no proper apology, by the chef, and charged full price for the evening and. It even offered pudding or a drink by way of apology! I became unwell with an upset stomach which in turn ruined my New Year's Eve dinner the following eve. And all for the price of £85.00! Will not be recommending this place to anyone. In fact I shall be warning people away. If they had put more effort into making things right I'd have given them a second chance. Unfortunately they didn't."

"Having visited Denny’s in America several times, we finally got to cost the Swansea team e a couple of years ago and it was great. We were really looking forward to our return visit today! Unfortunately this place has gone down hill so so much and we wouldn’t be surprised if it was closed this time next year. We ordered a banana milkshake, black coffee, chicken tenders and fries, a grand slam with a side of fries, extra bacon and extra french toast and a portion of cinnamon bites. At a total cost of £50 ish we expected it to be as good as we remembered. Nope. The chicken tenders were ok-but mostly coating-not much chicken on the 4 tenders. The fries were not fries they were like a hollow/scooping chip and were cold when they arrived. The banana milkshake was good but after waiting 35 -40 minutes for our food the milkshake was well and truly finished before the food arrived. The grand slam was horrible. The bacon was streaky so we expected it to be fatty, but it was all fat, the eggs were too rubbery to even eat. The toast was ok, the potato hash was cold, the fries (same as above- NOT fries) were cold. The cinnamon bites were burnt on the outside and cold on the inside-the frosting was nice. So all in all the onky good things were the coffee and the milkshake- the rest was virtually left u touched it was that bad. £50 is expensive for a coffee and a milkshake, as the rest inedible. Give this place a kiss, there are much better places now unfortunately."

"I wanted to try this one, and finally get a chance for last night. have the dragon green katsu burger together with fritten. it was great. I was pleasantly surprised by the french fries when I thought what so delicious can be about french french n a bit seasoned. her, where really good! I found that the green thing was super fat, in the measure where I oil rolling down my kinen. I think it could be one of tho as the katsu, although greasy it was not in the measure as the green drachen. I know it seems a bit expensive, but my guess is that this is on how expensive it is for mock dishes and alternative milk products that are never cheap. without them buying the really bad tasting that are cheap. either I will come back. even my mother liked it, who is clumsy."

"When booking in good shed, I warned that there were 2 vegans eating and to my surprise there was absolutely no problem. There is only one option: Vegetarian record that sounds uncompromising... when it arrived, I was totally blown away! It depends entirely on what's cooked on the menu and like the restaurant seasonal British cuisine, it varies from month to month. I ate at the end of January and the plate consisting of: Beetroot green olive salad, cannelini beans and mushroom bags, bead barley and kale broth (served in an old tea cup too sweet! , frying seasonal British vegetables with (Amazing spiced red cabbage, sautéed baby leeks on toast. I cannot explain how amazing it was to eat British seasonal cooking without meat and milk! The way the plate was laid out meant that everything was different but perfectly complemented. My other (Fleisch-Essbegleiter ordered the chicken and spent all the time tasting from me and said she wished her 'd ordered vegan also! Of course Dessert's standard were not vegan fare, but the Bramley apple sorbet was very nice. I can't say the wine was vegan or either vegetarian, but for a restaurant in a peasant market that has an on-site fisherman and butcher it was a total shock to have such an amazing vegan meal. I definitely go back to see what will be on the vegetarian plate in the summer:"

"I have heard good things about bills to be one of the better chains, so paulo and I had dinner at their restaurant in cambridge. his location on the pretty green street has a very inviting outer. the interieur is cozy with a rustic feeling, but there is a certain concrete on the image. the decoration is a juxtaposition of loaded wood and sparkling chandeliers, with a filling of bills products that crown regale and boards with recipes and products. it was sensory overload and I could not help to buy the feeling that the barrage of informations was a non-so-subtle note to buy, buy. I get it, bills, but I don't need to buy the constant memories of the brand. Service...read more"

"Usually our favourite Miller Carter restaurant but unfortunately tonight our waitresses lack of customer service and helpfulness left us feeling a little cheated. We usually like to enjoy the service provided when we frequent this restaurant and always tip heavily for a good service and an enjoyable experience. However this evening has left a sour taste on our usual experience. The waitress was extremely abrupt and could only be likened to a strict headmaster. She was extremely unhelpful and made it as difficult as possible to use our collected stamps to redeem money off. The food was excellent as always, just the waiting on staff that let it down. This experience was not what you expect when you consider the Miller Carter brand and reputation."

"We popped in on the off chance they would have a table for 2 of us and our dog. The staff were friendly and helpful and found us a good table. We had the roast beef brisket and it was excellent. The best meal we had all week during our stay. A large portion size and really good quality food and cooked perfectly. I have to say from the outside the pub isn’t one we would normally pick, as we would go for a more traditional looking pub, but the inside is lovely and I would highly recommend it. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Little Haven."

"From the minute you walk in you start to relax. Firstly a freindly welcome, next beautiful decor and well layed out. Drinks first, well it was only just midday so a **** Mary, probably the best I've had! The lime covered in fruity red pepper corns sent it to another level, then burgers...the black and gold burger, if burgers can be fine dining this is up there. Great service, lovely atmosphere, superb food and drink at reasonable price. Look forward to our next visit."

"Location is great, just off seven dials in Covent Garden. It's a little like walking into a slightly posh canteen in style, but not a bad thing. Tables all set in rows, exposed brick work, slight school feel grey chairs, but a comfortable atmosphere. The mezze sharing platter was very nice, although I'm not totally sure it's region, but that's just because I didn't order and see the menu. It consisted of olives, spiced nuts, cheese, bread, green chillies and artichokes. It was all very good though, but felt a little like a mish mash of food. That said, it was all finished! We had pork belly and potatoes which was lovely. The pork belly was crispy and chewy and perfectly cooked, it was very filling and really tasty. It came with a potato rosti of some sort which was divine. The garlic and oyster mushrooms were a great accompaniment, very nice.We had cocktails, which were lovely, if not (like London) a little stingy. Too much ice in one and not filled in a martini glass in another, which made us feel slightly robbed. Tasty though.Team were polite and made us feel welcome. A nice visit and we came away feeling very full."

"Such good vibe here! The service was great and the staff were so friendly. I love that they were singing while working, clearly a happy place to work at! We think the food is very authentic. We had calamari and baked aubergine both for main. The garlic bread was so tasty as well and regretting not trying their wood fire pizza! Will definitely come again’"

"We arrived early as our booking slot, so we waited 25 minutes at the bar for a drink we were promised by the manager that we will be served next and we were not when our table was ready, we went to our table, which was sticky and not clean and was ignored for another 15 minutes by the waiter so that we went and went to another restaurant that gave us a table directly and the service was great as you know"
