"We stopped here for lunch yesterday. I had the Tomato and Red Pepper Soup followed by the Smoked Salmon Sandwich both were incredible. I have never seen such thick cut smoked salmon and I was pleased to hear that it came from a nearby smoke house. My husband had the Crawl (ham and lamb stew) followed by the Chicken, Lettuce and Tomato Sandwich; again both were incredible. Our friend had the homemade beef burger which was succulent and beautifully cooked. The lady that served us, went out of her way to help and her customer service was 5 star. We will definitely visit again."

Went here for Sunday lunch. Roast beef was delicious and the service from the staff was exceptional. Great pub by the harbour.

fantastic fish and chips, the photo does not make this eat fair. the chips beautiful and crispy for cloby chips and fluffy on the inside. fish was huge and in a light teig so not heavy, but the fish fillet was beautiful and think and well cooked. fantastic.

Lovely place for lunch with amazing views. Peaceful surroundings, great food. I had the caesar salad which was amazing! Best salad I've had in ages. My husband had the burger which was equally as tasty. Highly recommended stop off in this stunning village by the sea.

I really enjoyed my lunch here. good fast service and excellent hot eating. I had the gammon with egg, salat and chips all very well cooked and hot, the gammon was very large, but I ate it all after a long coast. good value for money. great location to look over the sea. highly recommended. Highly recommend the Boondoggle (beer battered fish with chips and mushy peas) the batter melts in your mouth! Very accomodating as we asked for one of the main course dishes to have as a starter (Moules Mariniere) which they did and halved the price for us , they were very tasty. Cheese cake was delicious. Fabulous setting, lovely staff, wonderful food and dog friendly! We will definitely return if we are back in the area

I dined at this restaurant with my partner and her parents last night for the first time and had an excellent experience. The food was cooked perfectly and all dishes were served together. I ordered the RibEye cooked medium rare and it was delicious. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant more often. The atmosphere was cozy, the staff was kind, and the service was great. The average price per person was £20-30. I would rate the food a 5 out of 5.

"And lucky old us wow! This was a great surprise, we had no idea we were coming into something so unusual and so good. The garden space is very big and on the lawn, amongst the flowers, herbs and vegetable beds sit tables and chairs, mainly made of roughly hewn wood, plus tenty sheddy structures with heaters, teepee looking things and probably other structures I didn't take in.We were there when it was dark and there were strings of lights throughout the garden and it was all stunning and rather difficult to take in!The service was occasionally scatty but always well meaning and pleasant and mostly very professional and rightly proud of what they do, the place and the food they serve. The food! We were so thrilled with the food after some not very good experiences locally and, as others have said, we wished we'd found it earlier and been able to book another night.I had the pork belly which must have been cooking for hours, apart from the rind (not exactly crackling but still crispy and wonderful) I could cut the meat with my fork love to know how to achieve it. No taste had been lost in the cooking process and the fat was there but was kind of crumbly so it was gorgeous. And it came with great slices of home pickled carrot and fennel which was just delicious with a hint of sweetness and a hint of spice. And a puree which I believe was cauliflower. And don't forget the delicious little black pudding rissole that comes with it.As you can see, I could go on and on! My partner loved his succulent lamb, which was served with the same vegetables. Oh, and we had side dishes of seasonal greens and roasted beetroot and goats cheese these were also yummy and well flavoured, side dish didn't mean unimportant.Sadly, we didn't have dessert, what can I say, bet they're ace. This is far too long, do visit if you can it's a real treat with great cooking and lovely people."
