"We arrived about 2.30pm and the place was pretty packed out which I like to see… to me it means they must be doing something right for the place to be busy. The lad (with the dark hair) who greeted us was so friendly and said we could wait for a table and it would be a bout 10 mins, we were more than happy to do this, they kept us informed the whole time about the table being vacated, then they needed to clean it etc. we were seated and ordered quite quick as we had already chosen… we all had all day breakfasts… I can’t stand baked beans and said none for me and I was actually offered an alternative to replace the beans (which is a rarity) I chose mushrooms for my replacement. Our food and drinks came out in good time and was really nice we all enjoyed it. Great value too. The two lads that we dealt with were so accommodating and friendly and the one with the moustache was joking about with us which we liked! We would 110% come here again!"

"Lovely venue. Great space for large family gatherings. Tasty food well presented. Reasonable price. Vegetables a bit sparse for some appetites and gravy with no offer of extra but plenty meat. Couple of our group were late so were bit late ordering so were asked to hurry due to other bookings which have we never experienced before. Be prepared to be timely. Table service was limited but good when food was delivered and plates cleared away. Bar bit on expensive side too. If you are looking for a country pub with good food in a nice surroundings and don't mind paying a bit extra, give it a try."

"Came in for tea and coffee, and ordered two glasses of water. Since the water came in a very small jug, we soon asked for a refill to which we were told that we can’t just order water by an elderly lady and heavy eyeshadow. That same lady came up to our table with the water and started explaining that it’s wrong of us to only order the water (although we also ordered tea and coffee) and told us she will have to charge us for the water and the ice… we did not at any point specify that we wanted tap water, so we were prepared to pay for it anyway. It was extremely embarrassing, as others were around. Perhaps our foreign accents have had something to do with it, either way it has left us very uncomfortable and upset at the condescending way we have been spoken to. All other staff were extremely lovely and polite, and even apologised for the altercation of the elderly woman."

"The food was very nice, however, the speed of service and attentiveness of the staff was abysmal: it took over an hour from when we were seated until our food arrived, as well as taking over ten minutes to bring us some drinks. If you can't get food to tables in under thirty minutes, you need to let people know, as this was a work lunch booking which had been made in advance, and the delays made colleagues late for afternoon meetings."

"I could see myself living here! I always order the poached egg on cheese on toast, along with a slice of Karen's delicious cake, and let me tell you, this woman can bake! I could easily indulge in everything from the cake display. The coffee cake is heavenly, and just yesterday, I tried the cranberry and orange sponge drizzled in white chocolate—absolutely delightful! Karen and her team are incredibly welcoming, making each visit a pleasure. We love coming here and feel compelled to drop by every week. Thank you!"

"On arrival the garden and grounds and view were superb. We found a nice table and all was very clean, the waitress friendly and efficient. Sadly it was not a carvery but a plated meal. When it arrived I was sad to see that the plate was overloaded. Gammon slice, (bit fatty 6 roast potatoes (which could have been a little more crisp. cauliflower, carrots,parsnips, brocholli, pop up Yorkshire pudding. stuffing (a bit tasteless, and gravy. A massive meal which would have done me for two days. It looked good value but sadly I could only find room for half the amount. Sticky toffee pudding with custard was superb. and a good coffee to follow. I feel this pub has missed a trick. Most of the people lunching were 70 plus and would have preferred to have a carvery where they could just take as much as the wanted and not been over faced by such a plateful I shall go again but try their a la carte menue, ot specials if they have them"

"We booked the family room, which was at the back of the hotel sandwiched between the kitchen and restaurant. A dark converted store room which was ok at first glance. The bathroom was cramped and dirty, the shower kept going cold and if you were over foot tall you couldn't get your knees between the toilet and the wall!! The beds had springs coming through and the carpet was dirty and sticky. We decided not to eat in the restaurant as the prices was extortionate, so we went out instead. We had an early start the next morning so just wanted to relax in the evening and watch tv......well that was a joke as the noise from machinery in the kitchen was so loud you couldnt hear the tv and to make it worse the music they had playing in the kitchen we could sing along to!! We asked them to turn it down, which they did for mins then it was back blaring out. I went and asked to see the manager, who was obviously not happy I had disturbed his evening because he was not working. Arrogant and stroppy and not at all apologetic...just said that people dont usually want to sleep at I said I just wanted a peaceful relaxing evening!! Anyhow, I needed to settle the bill as we had a n early start, we were going to miss breakfast so the bar manager said he would sort some cereal to come to our room at and would make sure he printed our bill and leave it through our door. Guess what?? We got neither.....absolutely disgusting service and attitude when we were paying for the night!!"

"I visited Kitchen for the first time today and had an amazing breakfast that was cooked to perfection. The coffee was delicious and the service from the lady working today was brilliant - she was friendly, smiling, and very helpful. The chef even came out to check on us while we were eating. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and inviting, and the decor was also great. The price for the breakfast was very reasonable and I left feeling satisfied. "I hadn't visited this restaurant in quite some time, and after today, I have no idea why I don't come here more often. The view of the lake from the restaurant is fantastic. My friends and I all opted for the early bird menu. I had smoked mackerel with cheese, salad, and some bread, while my friends enjoyed broccoli soup with poppy seed cake and butter, followed by tuna and egg with salad. They also had steak pie filled with a generous amount of steak, which was delicious, and squid with chips. Three of us ordered the soft serve, and the apple and blackberry crumble with custard was devoured in no time. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. We will definitely be back!"

"I had a delightful impromptu birthday dinner here mid-week yesterday. The location is lovely, right by the castle and the River Medway. The menu offers a wide variety of options to choose from. We enjoyed our meals thoroughly, and the staff was both friendly and efficient. I highly recommend the generous seafood platter as a main course, and if you see the Cointreau chocolate orange cheesecake on the dessert menu, definitely go for it. Overall, a very tasty experience. "Bangrak Thai is well worth a visit, We started with some sharing plates of Squid, Belly Pork and Bangrak Samplers, all the starters were freshly cooked and tasted beautiful, we then had an intermediate course of Tom Yum Soup, I’d really recommend the soup. As we did with the starters we ordered 4-5 different main dishes to share. This is a lovely restaurant in a great central location on the Quayside. Look forward to our next visit."

"I love going to coffee creams, and in the last months I have met friends there for tee. my friends and I also enjoyed eating from the menu, the touch and crispy speck is delicious. the geleto and waffel are a real tasty bite. I took my mam recently and we tried the new waffella dessert. this was a something that was perfect on the hot day, a tower of waffeln, geleto, nutella with a few ferraro roche. I chose pistaziengeleto and my mam chose the chocolate and honey. there was only the right combination of ingredients that all worked together. I can recommend this and the other food very much. I use an electric wheelchair and these things are large and bulky design. the reason why I return with my friends to coffee creams is the combination of service and quality of eating. joe and his team are perfect host, from opening the double to ordering and payment from my table everything is done with a smile and little excitement. these little things make the difference between a ok to a fantastic time out."

"The hype currently surrounding Singburi has reached stratospheric levels, and even though it is quite a trek from home I thought it had to be tested out. Following their Instagram account is key to finding out about the release of reservation slots. I had to book around 3 months in advance for a Saturday evening, and at the time bookings could only be made via the phone on Wednesdays. According to my iPhone, it took 28 attempts on the day before managing to get through to them and secure my booking. Hyped up indeed! Fast forward to the day we arrived on time to a very frosty welcome from who I think was the person in charge of things. She also was the one who took our order and barked at me when I had any questions about menu items. Anyhow, the 3 of us focused our ordering on items from the specials board, which seems to be the unwritten rule. We tried the clams, whole crab curry, crispy tilapia, chicken and liver curry, beef massaman, and the salt fish rice. The food was very nice and we enjoyed the spice levels in some of the dishes. Service continued to be quite unfriendly and robotic but fairly speedy. The bill for our meal came to a very reasonable £110 for the 3 of us. The conclusion a nice authentic Thai meal but I didn’t see what all the fuss was about. The comparison that popped to my mind was 101 Thai Kitchen, another hole in the wall casual spot which is close to where I live and in this case very easy to book perhaps the food at Singburi was one notch better but it wasn’t much of a difference, certainly not enough to justify jumping through hoops to get a booking. I’m glad I crossed it off my list but I doubt I would return. Note: it is BYOB. They do provide a wine bottle opener and glasses if needed. Also note it’s cash only, there is a Tesco just a minute away which offers up to £50 cash back."

"We received a very warm welcome upon arrival, we had two partially sighted friends and the staff were kind enough to bring over the menu board to make our lives easier. We had two dogs with us who were each offered some treats and water. A sausage for the dogs was also produced much to the excitement of our furry babies. The food was of a high quality standard, the eggs cooked to perfection, the hash brown crispy and everything hot and tasty. We had a vegetarian amongst us and the staff upgraded her breakfast with an additional hash brown without us even asking. Overall, very happy and would highly recommended."
