My wife had mushroom quiche with a choice of three salads,I had Irish chowder which was delightful full of fish and thick broth. Served with a thick slice of bread and butter. We had a lovely breakfast here on the 22nd of August. The eggs Benedict were particularly good as was the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. The poached Moroccan eggs with merguez sausage were also brilliant. We highly recommend the Motte and Bailey cafe. This is high-end grub not at all a greasy spoon.
