"I hadn't visited this restaurant in quite some time, and after today, I have no idea why I don't come here more often. The view of the lake from the restaurant is fantastic. My friends and I all opted for the early bird menu. I had smoked mackerel with cheese, salad, and some bread, while my friends enjoyed broccoli soup with poppy seed cake and butter, followed by tuna and egg with salad. They also had steak pie filled with a generous amount of steak, which was delicious, and squid with chips. Three of us ordered the soft serve, and the apple and blackberry crumble with custard was devoured in no time. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. We will definitely be back!"

The best food I had since last 2 years in manchester. Have tried many places, but this place gave that warm feeling and a essnse of increased appetite when I went there. It's really a nice place to visit with good view and food. Fresh food is what made me write this review. Keep it up guys The Boathouse. Parking: Good amount of parking spots. Kid-friendliness: Yes, kids friendly. You can come with kids here for various water games and have a good meal later.
