"among a large number of fried chicken restaurants, almost food joints and numerous bangladeshi restaurants is a rustic Italian restaurant with an excellent environment. on Wednesday afternoon for lunch I was amazed to see a style similar to that of a first class restaurant. the restaurant was relatiw full for a Wednesday afternoon in mile ende. the menu consisted of a few dressed in different categories that you would see in any Italian restaurants, but with a higher complication. the waiter came to explain the daily specialties that burrata with black truffles shave up and spaghetti with truffle both for reasonable prices. my friend ordered a margherita pizza that arrived with basilikum and parmesan cheese on the side. the pizza was thin crispy crust with a delicious tomato sauce, a simple dish, but prepared for a very high standard. I ordered the rabbit ragout, which was also very tasty and the pasta came al dente, I also ordered burrata with black truffles, both were very tasty. there was a formal environment with a dedicated wine menu. the waiter explained to me that the restaurant was only open two months. this restaurant can be seen as a hidden gem in mile ende and is definitely recommended to appreciate the good hearty Italian cuisine. prices can be slightly high compared to the surrounding restaurants, but for the quality of food and the ingredients it is definitiv a trip and worth the money."

"It has taken a while to write this review as we were Married at Salford Hall on 29th June 2023. Well the only word that springs to mind is PERFECT !! From our appointment with Lizzy Ops Mgr. who sold this amazing venue to us, then handed over to Keeleigh events Manager/Wedding Planner the whole process has been a joy. Keeleigh was available whenever required, putting us at ease and absorbing our needs. On the day the whole Team were amazing. From the ceremony right through to the evening Keeleigh kept everything flowing perfectly. Venue, Ceremony, Food/Wedding Reception etc was top draw and we are still pinching ourselves with the memories of our amazingly beautiful DAY !! "I gave some low scores for a few reasons. First, I had a table in the restaurant, but there was a problem with the computer. The restaurant was full, and they offered us a table in the winter garden, where my wife and I were the only people. We were quite disappointed, to say the least. However, I must say that the service was excellent, and the food was good. We are certain that when we return, we will definitely choose to sit in the main restaurant."

"My husband and I and our three year old came here at last minute for an early NYE dinner and it was just a wonderful experience. Polite, efficient staff, wonderful food served promptly (I loved my lobster lasagna). The place was cosy and all decked out nicely for the holidays so had a festive atmosphere and prices weren't particularly dear, nor were you forced into a special menu because it was NYE. They were respectful of our wee one so felt child-friendly without being overtly and (clawingly) so which I love. Would come again for another NYE."

"I think what shows is this is a restaurant with strong ambitions. I 'm told the menu has been recently revised, and its a fine menu with an inventive flare. The visiting menu is a very nice concept, that I hope they will continue with. Portion sizes are a little on the smaller side, you will want the starter, but I think this is partly reflected in the pricing which are on the low of average for Kensington. The food is well executed, and flavourful, presentation is good. Service was slightly green, did absolutely everything right (a rare thing), but maybe just not perfectly cohesively. Atmosphere is very pleasant. In summary, its actually a very nice restaurant. PS. The toilets are outstanding!"

"It started very well and after ordering some wine and starters felt pressured to order the main meal with frequent visits by I assume the head waiter. I kept delaying my main as I wanted to enjoy post lockdown with my wife and then was reminded that they needed the table by 130pm. My booking was midday, there was no reference to when the table was needed at time of booking, so couldn’t understand the problem. We don’t lounge around so normally finish within 1.5 to 2 hrs maximum so didn’t need to have been pressured to order. It got to a point I said if we run late put the pizza in a takeaway box and we can sit on the park bench and eat. This isn’t Michelin food it’s a pizza restaurant!"

"Some years back before visiting the theatre we had a delicious mackerel dish here, and were looking forward to a fish and chips lunch. Sadly disappointing, dry fish, dry chips, even dry 'crushed ' peas. Perhaps if we 'd chosen a different dish, but if they can 't do proper fish and chips......... Staff didn 't engage with the customers. Cannot recommend."
