"Went early on a Thursday night and had no problem getting a table, but it was getting busier soon after. Lovely genuine atmosphere without trying to much, we felt comfortable from the start. Service was very friendly, but could've probably done with a second person to help out when it got busier. My partner had one of the small Fried Pizzas as a starter with lovely dough and a sauce bursting with flavour. Mains were tagliatelle with mushrooms, sausage made in-house and pecorino (photo). My partner had Carbonara. Both dishes excellent! Just the right portion size and again full of flavour. Opted for the traditional Tiramisu for dessert and wasn't disappointed. One of the chef's approached us as we left, asking if we had enjoyed our evening. Really nice gesture and we were more than happy to compliment on the food. Indeed we had had a splendid evening."

Lovely lovely red wine, gorgeous carbonara, really generous portion sizes. Side salad could have been a meal on its own, very nice! And very friendly staff. View menu

Great atmosphere and great staff, the menu is small but we'll thought out, every dish is unique and delicious The restaurant is all on the ground floor and wheelchair accessible, bathroom has a baby changing area too. that is really the best Italian food I ever had in Britain. every time we visit bristol, we make it a mission to eat here! the handmade pasta is unbelievable, no matter what they get, their peroni on design is the best peroni experience they will ever have, and their fried pizza appetizers are crazy. they need to support this family-run restaurant when they are in town, they will not regret it!

"Visited here in Sept 23 for an executive dinner that we were hosting for various senior business leaders. We booked out the whole venue, which was the perfect size and atmosphere for the intimate and exclusive feel that we wanted, plus a convenient location. The TV that shows into the kitchen was fascinating, and the record player was put to use towards the end of the evening! Caroline from the venue helped us organise the event in advance and was great to deal with. We were fortunate with the weather so were able to enjoy a welcome drinks reception out the front of the venue, and have the door open all evening to let the balmy night in. We had the 7 course taster menu and it was simply OUTSTANDING so many of our guests commented on how delicious it was, particularly the beef steak course! It was so tasty that I even enjoyed the fish dish (not usual for me! . Service on the night was exemplary, the courses were brought out at just the right intervals so you weren't waiting ages but also not being rushed. The chef came out to greet us after the final course, which was a lovely touch and meant we could thank him. Overall, we had really great feedback from our guests, everyone loved it thank you for making our event such a success! We would definitely book again, and I know a few of our guests have already recommended it to their own companies for executive dinners! Would not hesitate to recommend."
