"Having completed eleven luxury sea cruises over the years, experiencing fine dining, I feel my wife and I are qualified to pass judgement on the quality of food and service at eating establishments. As such we feel that this is by far the best eating out place in the Witney area. To celebrate our daughter’s 50th birthday ten of our family members dined here on. Saturday evening. We were allocated a delightful cosy room on our own, which was perfect for our requirements. Despite the restaurant being very busy we received a warm and friendly reception. The meals, both starters and main courses were superb and faultless. The service was extremely efficient and friendly. Although we are what one might term fairly large eaters, none of us could manage the pudding course!, all feeling completely satisfied without that dreadful over stuffed feeling. The staff catered to our very need, brining in a cake which we had supplied ourselves, with lit candles, and leading the singing of Happy Birthday. Unusually, there was no Service Charge for a largish group, but I was more than willing to show my appreciation for a perfect evening with a generous gratuity they simply deserved it, and many thanks to all of the staff for making our daughter’s special evening memorable. We will be back!"

"Had a pre show meal and was pleasantly surprised. Very pretty restaurant with lovely views. Nice Christmas atmosphere, a singer in main restaurant. The staff attentive to our needs. The food was great, beautifuly presented, portions were large. Good value for money and only a few minutes from Cliffs pavilion."

"We had a family lunch here on a Sunday to celebrate my wife's birthday. It's the first time we have visited, but we'd definitely go back. The décor was very good, creating a relaxed and cosy feel to the restaurant. Service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and the team were all attention, helpful and professional. The food was great. The menu is sufficiently varied to be able to cope with a variety of tastes, so long as they enjoy Italian food. We had a variety of food, pasta al forno, pizza, risotto as well as home made tiramisu for dessert and everyone really enjoyed their food. Positioned in the centre of Cirencester, this is a very good, non-chain Italian restaurant that we'd be happy to visit again."

"Loved the food been here twice now and this time we were sat in he back with the tree and the water features which added a lovely touch.both times I have been were weeknights so it is probably much quieter than weekends!"
"Great food, ok service.. My friends and I went here for a Sunday lunch in the summer, there were 6 of us and we'd booked the restaurant on our Taste cards thereby entitling us to 50% off the bill. I explained that we had the cards when I booked and all was fine When we arrived all was rosy until I double checked that they knew we had the card. Firstly, they said they didn't accept the cards on Sunday's (which they do and in fact this has not been changed on the Taste website since), then the service went steadily down hill The saving grace was the food, the antipasti selection to start was lovely, but the real winner was the main course. I had seafood linguine which had been baked...read more"

"What a hidden gem! This restaurant is like a little slice of Italy. We made a reservation before heading to the World Resort to see Peter Kay, and we were pleasantly surprised by how close this place was to all the chaos. The food at this cozy restaurant was fantastic, with an extensive menu offering something for everyone. The dishes we ordered were delicious and the portion sizes were very generous. I started with the Caprese salad, which was light and flavorful, followed by a fantastic dish of monkfish, mussels, and garlic mash from the specials menu. My wife enjoyed the bruschetta with mushrooms and dolcelatte cheese, which was delicious and big enough for two to share. She then had the polio bianca neve, another tasty and delightful dish. The rest of our group had bruschetta with tomatoes and fried calamari, followed by Tagliatelle Pollo e Gamberetti. We managed to squeeze in dessert despite feeling full, and it was all worth it. If you're in the area, don't miss out on this amazing food. Support local businesses and you won't be disappointed. It's just a shame that it's over an hour away from home – but we'll definitely find a reason to come back!"

"Locanda 311 is one of the top Italian restaurants in London. I visited there last year for my first meal out with my girlfriend and returned a year later to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you Locanda 311 for your incredible food and service. We will definitely be returning soon."

"The staff were very friendly, which is the main reason I’m giving them 2 stars. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. We experienced a long wait, and when our meals finally arrived, we found that both of us were missing items from our plates. When we brought this to the staff's attention, they informed us that the items had run out and offered us a substitute instead. The food was extremely greasy and tasted like old oil, and it was served lukewarm to cold. While the staff were kind enough to remove one drink from our bill, I won’t be returning. I forced myself to eat the food because I was starving, but I regretted it afterward. I wouldn't recommend this place, especially on weekends."

"This was my first time dining at this restaurant. The wait staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, starting with the flavorful fried calamari as an appetizer. The salmon with cream sauce and pasta dish was also quite tasty."

"Highly recommend The Ship. My Husband and I haven't been to the restaurant in awhile and we were happy we tried it again. We dined at the restaurant after attending a wake on Tuesday night and were shocked at the inexpensive prices for dinner for 2 it included a bottle of wine, salad, entrée and dessert all for $40.00. More importantly, the food was very good and we plan to dine there in the future."

"This was our first visit to the restaurant. The food was enjoyable, but the decor was rather simple. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't offer a view of the golf course, so there wasn't much to admire. The staff were friendly, but we did have to request that our table be cleared."

"We came here for a family meal. It's my second visit to Ciao in the last couple pt months. I won't be going there again and there are my reasons why: -I ordered vegetable pasta for main. It was cold, undercooked and lacked a lot of flavour. I'm just shocked that an Italian restaurant cannot get a simple dish right. -During my previous visit, I ordered vegetarian pizza. The base was soggy. There was too much cheese and the vegetables were wet like they were out of a jar. Very disappointing. -One person was left waiting for their meal to arrive. So ours arrived and his arrived 20 minutes later and still, it hadn't fully arrived as it was missing the dry tasteless vegetables. -We ordered hot drinks. They arrived late and were luke warm. -It's busy I get it but don't have a restaurant if you can't deliver to standards. Ciao Ciao!"
"We booked a table for our anniversary yesterday, we arrived to a warm welcome from the friendly staff, the restaurant has a warm ambience that is complimented by the quality of the food. The meal was excellent and all 3 courses were of a high standard, lovely evening and a well recommended venue, we will be back."

"Lovely setting, very homely and welcoming waitress/owner, manager? Service was a bit slow (we didn't mind at all as it was comfortable) but we went at the start of January so I suspect they didn't expect many customers to turn up in their small restaurant! Food was really tasty, presented well and plentiful. We only had breakfast dishes with coffee and smoothies, but thought we will come back to sample more dishes in the evening, very soon! It was a good sign as well that every table was taken."

"My friend and I had an alfresco dinner over a good long catchup. The Agile Rabbit were properly prepared for social distancing with codes on the table to order food and drinks and the tables were suitably separated. The staff were attentive and very friendly and they all were masked which made us very comfortable. Agile Rabbit is literally opposite Herne Hill train station along a short parade of shops. The area has a lovely village feeling to it. Th food didnt take too long to arrive. I order their white truffle burger with french fries and a cocoa cola and my friend had a lasagne with Italian lemonade. My truffle burger was posh with a lovely cut of continental cheese. The beef pattie was juicy and cooked well with the truffle oil carefully balanced. The French fries were surprisingly crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle, considering they were skinny french fries (my connoisseur chips/foodie friend would have approved). My friend really enjoyed he lasagnesaying it was well cooked and the portion was just right for her. This is the first time I've been to the Agile Rabbit and it probably won't be the last. Highly recommended!"

"I frequently visit this pub, whether with friends or just passing through and in the mood for a drink or a snack. The price per person usually ranges from £30 to £40. I rate the food a perfect 5, and the service and atmosphere also receive a 5. Some dishes I highly recommend include the Hamburger, Roast Chicken, Prawn Cocktail, Club Sandwich, Sunday Roast Beef, Mackerel, Sundae, Yorkshire Pudding, Triple Cooked Chips, Southern Fried Vegan Burger with Chips, Tarte Tatin, Rack of Ribs, Pie, Norfolk Chicken Supreme with Truffle, Aguachile, Thai Green Curry, Steak Pie, and the Pie of the Day, as well as the Knickerbocker Glory. Additionally, there’s a free parking lot available."

"Please do not waste your time on this place and their incredibly incompetent staff. I made a reservation for afternoon tea for 3. We arrived early and I told the server we were there for afternoon tea. He acknowledged we were there for tea because he made a comment about our table being booked on a 2 top. After 45 mins of waiting (I gave some leeway because we were early) I asked if there was a problem. I was informed that our reservation was canceled. I said not possible as I confirmed the day before and had an email to prove it. After another 20 minutes, the story changed and I was told that I only booked a table, and not tea service. BUT that they could have it ready in 20 mins. I said OK, but reminded him I said that we were here for tea so why A) did you first say it was canceled and 2) not just start preparing the tea service when we walked in. He told me next time I should really just call because the internet booking is not great. I replied that if it is not great then they shouldn 't have online booking as an option then (not to mention the difficulty in placing an international call) . At that point I said we were no longer interested. The final insult was them still charging us for the 2 ginger ales we had while sitting at the table."
"What a great setting! Overlooking the marina and floor to ceiling glass windows. The restaurant had only a few customers when we arrived. Perhaps we were early but the place was pretty empty. Our waitress seemed to be in training and didn't really make us feel welcome. We ordered appetisers and waited. Our drinks arrived and we began to eat. Having been a regular customer a few years back, at one of the nicest and authentic Italian Bottalinos, in Emersons Green we were beginning to feel that the magic had disappeared and this wasn't authentic italian. My serving of bruschetta looked thrown together, not chef made! Poorly made, over salty, under herby and lacking in the sunshine of Italy. We were not offered extra pepper or parmesan. The next table had to ask for it. The service didn't extend to us. Check back didn't happen. On arrival of the main course it was obvious that the standards of preparation had dropped considerably. My pizza goat was on a thin crust but it was undercooked so unpleasant to eat. The topping was feeble and again without the Italian authenticity expected. The ragu ordered by my husband was bland and brown. As above, no extra parmesan or pepper was offered. No check back was made. I couldn't finish the pizza goat as I wasn't enjoying it. We took it away in a box. It was later binned. We also had difficulty getting the waitress to bring us water. Not sure what was going on. The restaurant wasn't busy. Overall, very disappointing and we won't return there. The prices are for high quality Italian food and we expected a bit of Italian style and atmosphere. So it's very disappointing to see the state of things here."
