"The ambience was great although it was a little too cold but it is early March to be fair but it made us a little uncomfortable at times. The food in general was very good. We had Top Side Beef Roast Dinner which again in general was good but the beef had quiet a lot of fat running through it. I realize that can happen sometimes. The starter and deserts were excellent and the staff were faultless and very welcoming."

Booked for early lunch for mum as Birthday as well as mother's day so special. Table settings, food service extremely good amazing value for money at £24 for 2 courses. Would recommend.

I have eaten some paints here and it is pleasant. This time it was not so good because the room felt a bit cold and there was a private function up there with a bad singer who drank our conversation.

I think we chose a quiet time. To meet our family half way, it was perfect, quiet, spaced out tables and seating, clean, comfortable and lovely staff, good food and drink and a lovely setting! I should imagine it’s very busy in summer but we would definitely recommend and return! Thank you Essendon Country Club!
