"Visited on Saturday afternoon, was very busy and we were left waiting in the doorway for at least 5 minutes before anyone came over to us. We were seated right at the back near the kitchen which was the busiest part, almost all tables were full. I don't know why we were seated here as there were many empty tables near the front. We ordered the chicken variety starter and the house burger. The starter arrived within 10 minutes and was generally good. The chicken on the scewers was dry but everything else was ok and presentation was good. The mains arrived and looked fine but the burgers were overcooked and tasted like carboard. The waiter completely lost interest in us once he delivered the main course, we planned to ask for another drink but didn't get the chance to ask. He was only interested in new customers coming in. We didn't finish the burgers and chose to leave. Again it took forever to catch the writers eye and ask for the bill. We paid by the F&B App, we used the 2 for 1 mains deal, it slightly made up for the food. I like the new App to pay as you don't feel so pressured to leave a tip when people don't deserve it."

"First time visiting Frankie and Benny's with a friend. We were politely welcomed to a seat and asked if we would like anything to drink before the waitress left. We asked for some time to decide what we wanted to order. The waitress returned promptly after serving customers who were ready to order. This was reasonable time for us. We then ordered drinks and two courses each. A starter and a main. The drinks were brought over in good time for us to settle and have a chat. The starters arrived not long after. My friend ordered a garlic bread pizza which he described as greasy but tasty. I decided to have the mozzarella dippers which tasted bland, even with the sauce. A couple of them were overcooked. For our mains we ordered a vegan burger with sweet potato fries and a plain 6oz burger with fries. The vegan burger was very tasty, however the sweet potato fries were slightly overcooked but still rather nice. The plain 6oz burger arrived : not plain. It had to be sent back and corrected. However my friend was pleased with it once it came back. We were rather full afterwards and decided to pass on trying a dessert. We asked for the tab and it came back to us at an incorrect amount. We soon realised they charged for a jug of the cocktail I ordered instead of a glass and 2 servings of coke. We brought this up to the waitress and she fixed the issue with the cocktail but informed us that because we ordered the coke from the main menu, instead of the side menu (even though they are the same price) that the refills would not be free. 7/10 food. 6/10 service. Wouldn't be somewhere I'd go back in a hurry as there are far superior eateries for similar prices."

"I wanted to make a review because this place has changed quite a bit and felt the need to share. I'll split it into sections. Food: Nachos/ Nachos were good, problem is the portions are tiny between 3 adults we maybe had 5 tortillas each. Imagine taking 15 tortillas from a Doritos bag and that's your portion. Bit of a joke. loaded fries/ I had these fries which was between 6 7 pound mark they came with some toppings. I expected it to be loaded, but nothing special about it at all. Another tiny portion. southern fried burger/ my partner had this and looked the as you'd get in the spoons. Spoons is actually better than this. For something so expensive you'd expect a bit more quality. fajitas/ her sister had the fajitas and it looked nice. Again a few small bits of sliced chicken and some dips. The profit mark up on the food must be amazing. For over 17 quid for some small sliced chicken and a few mini wraps. Its taking liberties drinks/ we had 2 Pina coladas and 1 Paloma. Paloma was decent, the Pina colada was average at best. They have changed recipe and it came with ice but thick small pieces. This drink used to come blended and more of a frozen type cocktail. Service I mean it was ok but very basic. Our server had as much enthusiasm as a potato. Leaning on the table while taking our order. She looked like she hated being there. Some people should not be in hospitality. They did do a check back from the manager and the manager bought the food out. I was so disappointed in the Nachos I was going to refuse to pay for them. But we did anyway. Both me and my partner have worked in hospitality for a long time and we know the industry quite well. when food quality is average at best and price is high. This is not a good sign. We used to like coming here the portions were bigger the drinks were better, the service was better. The food was better. I don't know what happened but I won't be returning. If you want a decent burger head to 7bone just along the way. Way better food and portions. Should of known not to go. The place is always quiet but eh oh. Hope you find my review helpful guys. If your in Camberley look at other options as this is not the best place to eat. Thanks"

"I am a frequent visitor to Frankie and Benny's in Newcastle, going to this branch a little less frequently than the brnach at the Gate, which is in a far better location near the cinema. This branch feels a little smaller and less private inside, with big glass windows overlooking a busy street.This restaurant chain is classically Italian in flavour, playing non stop easy listening style songs, lots of Sinatra too, as you eat. the decor is done very well, with murals depicting the history of the restaurant's owners.The menu is typical Italian with a personal edge, dishes like Mama's cheese bake' and New York cheesecake' spring to mind. It is done in an attempt to transport you into a different time and place. The food is always tasty and wholesome. Pizzas have a fresh vegetable base, no fake cheese or pizza sauce here. Dishes are always well cooked and done to personal specification.This branch always provides less in portion to the one at the Gate, for some reason, but this is my only complaint. The staff here are friendly, student hip-hop types who are quick to serve, happy and talkative. Great menu for kids and adults alike. Prices are reasonable but a little higher than similar pizza outlets, but worth it for the environment you eat in."

"This was a terrible experience! The service was extremely slow, with not enough staff on hand. My son's chips were lukewarm. I understand that families use this restaurant for parties, but it's not acceptable for children to be unruly and annoy other customers and staff. I will not be coming back anytime soon."

"Nice little F&B franchise. We've been quite a few times in recent months and after a dip in service and quality, this restaurant has definitely picked up. "First visit and probably my last,wasn’t impressed at all with the presentation of my pizza,I did ask the server if the pizzas were thin she said yes,but didn’t think they would be as thin as they were ,also very insipid looking not very appetising to look at, I ordered a margarita pizza which I asked for olives which were green first time Ive had green olives on my pizza, also red onions which were chopped up into small pieces, when the pizza arrived at the table my plate underneath was black from the oven,and my pizza bottom was black as well not burnt black ash from the oven not appetising at all,I did take photographs of it, spoke to the server and told her to tell the chef, but it was like nobody cared, very poor show. Also your toilets were a mess toilet paper all over the floor no soap to wash your hands .Look at the pic and see if you would like that?"

"My family and I have been regular customers at F&B's Didsbury for quite some time now, in fact, it's been years! The deals they offer are always fantastic. I have never had a meal here that didn't taste good, and if there have ever been any issues, the staff have always gone above and beyond to make it right. I would have to say that the best thing about this place is the staff. They always greet us by name and make our experience feel personalized. They are also very eager to keep us as loyal customers, which we don't mind at all! They are very accommodating when it comes to special requests with our orders, and they have a great selection for vegans as well. It's nice to see familiar faces every time we visit, and there is no doubt that my family will continue to come back here. Keep up the great work!"

"frankie benny is generally good. eating in this special restaurant is pleasant: I had some great ribs from here, with many super sweet BBQ sauce. on a separate occasion I ordered to start a garlic bead, and a pizza for my pornstar. When the starter came out, I thought it was the main thing. frankie bennys garlic bread is in the round a pizza base with a garlic mixture above. I probably saw everyone eating pizza after pizza. still, very pleasant. a part of the service I had at f b was completely perfect. Some don't. it seems to be a bit hit and miss in this opposite. I like the 50s decoration and style of layout, it is something else."

"This is not a place to go if you value your time. If you don't and want a cheap meal out and yes, this is the place for you. Though I will weep for your tastebuds. We went to this restaurant about 90 minutes before our movie was to start. There were 4 booths empty and a whole set of tables empty as well, so I thought it wouldn't be long before we'd get a table. The Hostess gave us a buzzer and told us it would be a 15 minute wait and we can sit at the bar area for drinks and wait. I hate it when restaurants do this, shuffling patrons over to the bar area, where invariably the drinks are overpriced. That 15 minute wait turned into 28 minutes. When I went up to the Hostess and complained magically they were able to seat us. Our waitress was very prompt with our drinks order and food order. So kudos to her, whoever she is. My companion had a burger and chips two small onion rings. I ordered the spagetti bolognese (but with penne pasta instead). My companion's burger looks pretty good it had cheese and bacon and looked juicy. Mine looked like they used some store bought jar sauce, and it tasted like it. For the pleasure of rather unappetizing pasta I paid the glorious amount of £8.95. I value it at £2. as the pasta wasn't fresh and neither was the sauce. Don't come here if you value your time. There are better ways to spend your time."

"I was looking forward to going to the cinema next door with my partner on a rare day off we had each and decided to pop in here to try it out and ended up regretting that decision. We was welcomed in by a guy at the front desk and taken to a seat. We checked they had a disabled access toilet for my partner as she is a wheelchair user and they did which is the only plus thing in this review. We were seated at a table in a restaurant that was easily less than a quarter full and did not get seen for over 10 mins, not even for drinks, I had to request someone come over as the guy on front desk was on his phone and the 2 waitresses were standing and chatting to each other. Eventually we got served but the waitress taking our order didn't even look at us whilst doing so and was looking at someone else on another table. The vegan milkshake was good and the expresso martini was below average. We both had hot dogs and the bun was dry as old leather, I left mine but my partner was so hungry she forced her way through. The actual hot dog was also dry and with the speed we was served our meal I'm sure it had been cooked a long time ago and left out to dry. Couldn't find anyone to ask for the bill so in the end a guy emerged from a back office and I said I wanted to pay, he gave the bill then asked a waitress to come and setlle up. Terrible food and diabolical customer service. Will not be returning to this establishment any time in the future."

"Decided to have an evening out at the cinema, then wanted something to eat so we went into Frankie and Benny's. First off our waiter was Alex M, fantastic guy who was funny and very helpful and made time for everyone he was serving. "I have booked my table and asked for a nice table because it was my son and he had requested this restaurant. when I arrived, we were shown on a ground (instead of the beautiful round stands available) and without mention was made the birthday of my sohnes. actually, when we mentioned it at the end (if the waitress asked if we do something nice later) she did not even know. the burgers we had were average and I fought to find something I liked on the menu. I chose the festive menu with south-facing chicken for starter. they were hard and overcooked to damage the upper inner of my mouth, and the meatball pasta was so disgusting that I sent it back. I didn't eat anything else because I was so impressing with one of my foods. the meatballs were solid, terrible pre-formed dinges, which were shaped into elongated balls, and were hard to bite meatballs instead of the soft mint style I had eaten in others. there was a lot of penne pasta and very little sauce also the restaurant was dark and appeared a little tired, not Indian for the experience I had previously had (fastly a while ago I confess) when I went to the near of the show nr batley, which was expensive, but inviting my sohn will be only once, and although he was glad that he had not disappointed the happy birthday. we have paid the full tip for the waitress because they gave a good service. Perhaps this is only this special restaurant, but because of our experience this time we would not eat here again."

"Had the BEST experience at this restaurant, went with my sister, ordered one of the hot dogs, my sister ordered the ribs. We were sat down by a young girl who asked for our drink order, we ordered and waiting a little for them, then our server came over, his name was kieran, we told him we were still waiting on our drinks he came over straight away. Had a lovely chat with him, he asked for our order, the food came quick, he asked if we needed a tip up on our drinks, checked our meal was okay and it was lovely. He was SO attentive, smiley and couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. Could not recommend this service more due to this young man. "The restaurant has a nice ambiance and everything is satisfactory. The only drawback is the slow elevators, which seem to be slower compared to other shopping centers. The parking lot is a good size and well-maintained. It would be beneficial to have more parent and baby rooms available. "I've visited this restaurant a few times, and each experience has been wonderful. On this occasion, I went for an early midweek dinner around 5 PM, which meant the place was nearly empty and somewhat lacking in atmosphere. I ordered the Beef Chimichanga, and it was really delicious. My dining partner had the fajitas, which were also great. The staff member who served us was attentive and friendly. Like many places these days, the prices have increased, and we did flinch a bit when we saw them on the menu. Overall, it was a good experience, but it felt a bit pricey for a midweek dinner, especially since we both only ordered soft drinks."
