"The host was excellent upon our arrival, but our table was not ready on time. This wasn't a big issue as we were able to stand and enjoy a drink while we waited. Unfortunately, there was no space at the bar and we had to stand right next to the DJ. The service was okay, but they forgot our order twice. The food was good, but I would say it was just average. Overall, the experience was okay, but not excellent as it should have been."

"This was place was recommended to me but I was extremely disappointed, the only good thing here was the starter's we got wings and Mac and cheese which we really enjoyed however the mains was an extreme let down. All the dishes came cold and took forever, I had steak which taster horrible I ended up not even eating it and just having my chips. The chicken dish had absolutely no flavour whatsoever it tasted bland and greasy even this we couldn't eat. The only decent thing was the baby back ribs but even those were cold. This place was a real let down. We even got brownie for dessert and it was dry and tasted super old. However the staff were friendly and helpful which was also a good thing about this place. But if you are thinking you will get good food here I wouldn't say so."

"my wife and i live in eastbourne, however we make the journey to this Harvester in Polegate instead due to many factors the main one being the workers. we’ve visited this particular harvester 3 times so far as a couple and each time had a different server, ALL who made the entire visit more comfortable and easy! we had to order slightly awkward vegan things too and that’s enough to make any server annoyed but on every occasion we’ve had nothing but smiles and a ‘can do’ attitude (as cringey as that sounds). a special shout out to Nicole who helped us on this trip particularly who dealt with our requests with no push back in the slightest and even spoke to the kitchen specially for us to make sure there was no confusion! Dietary restrictions: wonderfully accepting and careful in fulfilling these requests. "I had a fantastic evening with my partner and family last night. We was showing to our table with a smile and felt very welcomed. Linda the lady looking after our table was such a lovely lady. She made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us to make sure all the food was good. The staff wished me a happy birthday and didn't mind we brought our own cake with us for dessert. The atmosphere was so relaxed and we had a laugh. Linda was truly amazing and we will be back again soon. We were appreciated the whole time. "We visited The New Inn Rockland St Mary on 7th July for a bithday evening meal. We've been visiting during our summer holidays for a number of years. It was a warm evening and the outside area was packed. We sat inside which was airy and comfortable. The food was delicious, the service was second to none as always and their prices are very reasonable. The Inn is a village focal point for residents, boaters and holiday makers and is highly recommended. We were sorry to hear that the current landlord/landlady are retiring later this year after nine years. We wish them well for the future and thank them for making our holidays a nostalgic visit every year."

"After being hesitant due to its reputation, I'm so glad we decided to visit Sky Lounge yesterday. The staff was extremely accommodating, finding us a table even though we hadn't made a reservation and had a friend in a wheelchair. The service was friendly, efficient, and filled with good humor. Our server was engaging, patient, and provided fantastic recommendations. We felt well taken care of throughout our visit. The atmosphere was lively and the crowd was enjoyable. The views were stunning and the drinks were excellent. While it may be a bit pricey, the experience is definitely worth it. I highly recommend this restaurant to any visitors in the city!"

"My wife and I, we diced to have a relax weekend at Pestana Hotel. The hotel is beautiful and the Spa very busy but over all very good and beautiful. For dinner we diced to stay at the hotel, the food was ok for £35 per person I was expecting bit more. My only big issue was the fact that I didn't know if I entered into a restaurant or a birthday party? The employees speak very loudly and makes you feel uncomfortable."

"This was my first visit to the restaurant since it was under new management. I ordered the fish and chips, but unfortunately, the fish was severely overcooked. The wait for our food was quite long, and we were surprised by the cost of over £1.50 for just one slice of bread and butter. "The ambiance at this restaurant is pleasing. However, we noticed that our orders were taken after another couple that arrived after us, so the service could be more attentive. The breakfast we had was delicious. While the menu didn't mention an option for turkey speck, they were willing to add it to our order or replace it with something else when we asked. They also offer soy milk as an alternative option. One negative aspect to note is the restroom, which definitely needs improvement. There was black mold on the walls, the room was very cold, and we even saw a cockroach scurrying across the floor, with the kitchen located right next to it."

"This is a delightful fish and chip restaurant! A group of around 40 of us arrived at the same time (we had made a reservation), yet they managed to serve us all almost simultaneously. The fish and chips were the best I've ever had! The cod was fresh and flaky, accompanied by a perfect batter. The chips were generously sized, crisp on the outside, and fluffy on the inside—every single one was excellent. We also had the option of mushy peas and tartare sauce. They served us drinks, as well as cups of tea and coffee. There wasn't a single thing to complain about. It's a fantastic restaurant with excellent service. Please don’t change a thing!"

"Although the restaurant is pleasantly decorated, that was the highlight of our visit. We felt that there was a bad attitude to customers from the start. We asked for tap water and instead of being given a jug for the table, we were each given a half filled glass. When we saw the astronomical prices for drinks, for water, for creamy milk drinks we realised that we'd better make our tepid tap water last. The food was average with no extras like you'd expect our cold mezze plate for was basically some dips plus rice in vine leaves. No pitta you have to pay extra for that. Rest of food distinctly average, some not nice at all spinach parcels avoid. Very loud music playing. Large service charge added. Will never go back"

"I recently visited the Harvester with my Mum, Dad and Niece, and am full of praise for this restaurant, and their staff. I don't usually leave reviews, but an exception must be made as the food, service, and cleanliness was tip top. My niece is two so is naturally very active, the staff were superb in accommodating to her needs, and even engaged with her, which she LOVED! Rachel and Jablu are prize assets to this branch, they were amazing from the minute we stepped in, to the moment we left, a true testament to a fantastic chain. "Maison du Mezze at first appears to be well decorated eluding a soft ambiance, good music and inviting smiles. I was sourly disappointed in the quality of food. The starters were sadly the highlight. We were served a range of cold mezzes which were tasty. The hot starters included kibbeh and well grilled softened halloumi. All satisfying. I must say that there was nothing special about the lentil soup, I guess it was foreshadowing the blandness to come. The mains were in all aspects of the term, tasteless. We had kabsa and another fish rice dish. The rice was dry, the fish rubbery and the lamb ok. Finally, our desert, I have never seen the word be so misused. We had a very cold, bland, textureless rice pudding. The disappointment after a long list of let downs was obvious on my face when a lovely waiter came to ask if everything was ok. The other desert was immemorable. Frankly, I would give this place 2 stars, but the service was excellent and the decor divine."
