"What can I say, Tropicana was amazing. It was me and my missus’ first visit and boy, they did not disappoint. When you first enter the main entrance, you go up a flight of stairs but I like the idea how they made the place very ‘tropical’ with all the palm tree settings and paradise looking pictures and even the sounds of waves made it feel like you was in tropical place. As soon as you enter the main area, again there are more palm tree settings and there’s a circular dance floor right in the middle of the building. You have benches just outside of the dance floor and the bars are on the ‘upper’ section of the building. Food Drink We arrived there for 6PM and I believe happy hour is from 5 till 8. The majority of the cocktails are £10 but they are so worth it. You pretty much get more for your money here than places that do cocktails for £12.50 and get a lot less. The food was good. I got the jerk chicken wings starter and had the buttermilk chicken meal that came with rice and slaw. My Missus got the chicken skewers as the starter and the same main meal. The prices are affordable but I must warn you….the food is spicy. If you don’t like spice, then I suggest you stay away from jerk meals as this could potentially put you off the food……didn’t bother me though. I loved it all the same lol. Entertainment At 8 and 9 there were dancers performing on stage to different music and putting on a good show. The Performers stood at different areas such as around the floor or even on the tables lool. It was really fun and then from then on, the DJ was playing some nice mixes of music which pretty much catered to all ethnicities. The music would range from pop, old school hits, reggaeton, reggae music….I liked the reggae and reggaeton music to be fair and me and missus definitely got down to the music lol! Overall, the night was brilliant and I would definitely do it again. Thank you Tropicana and see you again soon!"

"My wife and I looked for a local Mexican dinner for a Saturday night, and we found this lovely place. Even though we hadn't reserved in advance and the restaurant was fully booked, they were so kind to accept us. We ordered Fajitas, nachos and prawns in garlic sauce. The food was excellent, fresh and tasty. I tried a lot of nachos in different places, but this one was the best so far. The staff and the owner was friendly as well. Unfortunately, my wife forgot her bag at the restaurant when we left, with all the cards driving license, and she didn't even realise it afterwards. In the night, we had the door knocked and were surprised to see the owner at the door with the bag! He was so kind to bring it to our place! Thank you so much for everything, we will be back again!"

"We went to Côte for a pre Christmas breakfast on the 23rd December. We had our American family over so wanted a nice place with good food and service. I couldn’t have chosen better. Lovely staff very polite and attentive. Great food of a high quality. I was so impressed. What actually did it for me was when we paid the bill. I put a cash tip on the tray after we had paid. The bill was delivered by a different waiter to the one who served us. This Waite took the tip and went over to our waiter and gave him the cash. I was so impressed with this gesture. Clearly a great bunch of waiters with strong ethics.I spoke with the manager on leaving and he too was charming and professional. So well done Côte Reigate you are a credit to the chain."

"Went for dinner with my wife, son and daughter over the weekend and we had a very good experience. Luckily we booked a table, because restaurant was really busy. Setting is quite basic, but really nice and attractive. Staff very friendly and attentive, very willing...to recommend dishes and make your stay a good experience. We were four adults and ordered the shack stack which is basically a large selection of seafood. It included some oysters, but because they were really good, we ordered more. Food was tasty, well prepared, well served, and you could tell that was fresh, really fresh. Really a great experience. Very positive surprise. A restaurant on my list to return on my next trip to Falmouth."

"Our friends back in New Jersey told us to make reservations at Mulligans, Kieran the owner went above and beyond making us feel welcomed. We were only in Dublin for a few nights , there was 6 of us . Gerry and Renata got us cold drinks and hot food . The atmosphere is wonderful, you feel like family . The service is outstanding and the neighborhood is upscale but not pretentious or stuffy. Will be one of our stops the next time we are in Dublin"

"y husband and I had lunch today at The Oak. We realise in these trying times restaurants and pubs etc are having a hard time but that does not excuse serving poor quality food. I had the stuffed mushroom to start with my husband had the scotch egg. The starters turned up on a small plate with no garnish to make them even look appetizing the scotch egg was really small although it had a runny yolk with it was an attempt at a bloody mary drink in a small glass) I felt sorry for my mushroom it looked really lonely on the plate I didnt particularly want to eat it but we had waited a while so I took the plunge and I will leave it at that. Next course we both had the lemon chicken burgers with chips chips were cooked in the oven) and that is precisely what we got no garnish presentation of food for me is important as you do eat with your eyes. If I had been lunching at a local cafe or service station I wouldnt have expected anything else but we were not...this is suppose to be a reasonably good restaurant. I did mention this to the waitress when she cleared our plates and she said she would inform the kitchen. We then asked for the bill my husband didnt look to happy then he showed me the bill when we got outside £39.40p which included 2 drinks of lime and soda. The starters themselves came to £13.45 which is why I am writing this review because no way they were worth it I wish I had taken a photo for people to have seen. I am not trying to wangle any freebies of this I am saying to the owners please please realise I know in these times you are struggling but so I am and my husband to do not have money to throw away on a lunch that was equal to local cafe."

"We booked a table for evening meal and got the one we usually have.There did seem initially to be a lack of staff but eventually there were 3 staff on table duty.Unfortunately Paul is no longer there but has been made up to manager of the Sportsman bar within the complex.We had mussels and ham hock terrine,the latter very dry.Lamb shank,the meat fell off the bone,and mixed grill.Desserts were bread and butter pudding which was layered and soggy and lemoncelli mouse with raspberries.Overall it was pleasant but i can see why people have reservations when staff disappear for ages and leave you with dirty plates for long times.Very limited cafe type menu rather than previous restaurant menu."

"If you want a fantastic steak in a calming environment with properly made potent cocktails then with 5 star service, then there really is no other alternative. This restaurant knows how to cook meat with my medium rare T-Bone exactly medium rare and my wife's sirloin was as requested....well done even though I'm sure it's against the chefs creed to do so but the quality of the meat meant it was still tasty. Antonio, Tony and Eddie were as ever consumate hosts making us feel welcome and special. I can't recommend this little slice of grilled meat heaven highly enough and can only say...try it."

"Unfortunately, the food took what seemed to come forever. Table was booked for 8:15 o'clock...meal came 9:25 o'clock! And no, we didn't have any appetizers...just ordered main meals. I wanted to complain when the waitress said that the food won't be much longer - I told her I'm going to complain as waiting was ridiculous! We were not told when we were sitting there was a wait for food... but maybe our food order was messed up, I don't know. We were offered a round of drinks later, but we did not want them to have drinks, so we are offered desserts that have accepted 3 of us, even if we were full, we ordered them from the principle. We have eaten here many times before the food is always excellent, it was also tonight... it's just as shame that we had to wait so long."

"For once I was disappointed when I came for lunch today. We were shown to our table but hadn't even sat down before a staff member was over asking for a drinks order. We said what we wanted and she left. Drinks arrived reasonably quickly unlike the staff who were leaning against the bar and never came over to take our order. Eventually I managed to call one over and we placed out order. It seemed to take forever before the plates arrived (a sandwich and a haggis starter with a bowl of fries). Unfortunately the haggis had been replaced by pate for some reason so that had to go back. At this point I complained to the waiting staff who took my plate away and the bowl of fries. Later the correct order was delivered but the fries were only warm and nowhere hot. Another complaint and the manager apologised and took the fries off the bill. I've been before and had a great experience but this time it was just not up to scratch with staff standing around and not attending to the small number of guests that were there."
