"Awful and beyond disappointing. Pay attention to the vast number of negative Google reviews. I was there with two family members, lured by Time Out’s glowing review. However, I should have started asking questions from when I noticed how empty the place was. The food is tasty, but the experience is completely ruined by the shocking service. Staff are not just unkind – I don’t care for extra smiles or ceremony – they are plain rude, aggressive and resentful if you ask any questions or clarifications about the menu. Queries and mild complaints are greeted with denial, accusations that you are a stressful customer, insults and shouts. Also expect to wait at least 45 minutes for your food to start arriving and to be served at least 20 minutes apart – we were watching each other finishing our meals, before the next person was served. No hope to eat together there, unless you share your dishes as they are brought to the table. Also no explanation on the menu about spiciness. Time Out make light of the waiting times, or the abruptness of the service. However, there is no charm in rudeness. Eating out cannot be just about the food in your plate. It’s an experience you pay for, going from the surroundings to the social interactions with people around you. To waive all this, is taking away from all those restaurateurs who put their heart and soul into making their customers enjoy what they pay for. When we left the restaurant, we felt sick with disappointment. Dilara deserve's 1st place on Time Out's Worst Restaurants in London, if there is such a thing."

"A fun place to eat with a good variety of dishes. The server was knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. The place is pretty small. The dishes are indeed 'small '. I find it hard to review as the food was good, but I felt the price was too high for the amount of food. When comparing the amount of food provided to the price it has to compete with some of the most expensive restaurants. The quality is good, but I am not sure if it is quite at the level of £100 pp restaurants which it would cost for me personally to leave feeling full and with a couple of glasses of wine and tip. The sweet spot for this place is for parties of 1 or 2 as it allows the variety that normally you need a larger party for at other restaurants. And for a special dinner for 2 I think it is an excellent choice. Similarly for those with a smaller appetite I think it would be great for larger parties. However for a party of 4 or more, with people who have a way above average appetite (like myself the kind of people who order steaks over 500g at a steakhouse for themselves) I feel you are outside this sweet spot and would be better somewhere you can share larger dishes. I also feel for the amount you can spend on food here there should be a few better wine options, even if only by the bottle as the quality of the wine was way below the quality of the food. In summary, a great place for most people (the 90% of people with a more normal size appetite) but not the sweet spot for me personally."

"Hopefully, this review will be balanced and fair.....I was so excited about this evening, a meal on a tube for an underground enthusiast on her birthday. I think you need a mix of great food, service, ambiance and value..... I know my daughter had emailed...ahead and asked for specific seats... when we arrived, we were not even on tube seats, but rickety, incredibly uncomfortable wooden chairs and a table at such an angle, we kept having to rescue the food. We asked (we were pretty much the first people on), if we could sit on a table that was actually a tube seat and the woman was really rude to us. The service was mediocre... the food was slow (i do understand this isn't a commercial kitchen), and the only warm course was cold. We were not asked throughout the meal how it was (I suspect due to our initial request to change seats). The guy in charge was friendly though The food did taste good, but I would expect that for the price. The menu was interesting and we cleared our plates each course A lot of the time, the serving staff looked bored and redundant when they could have been more proactive...(they never once tried to offer additional drinks which would be a lucrative opportunity) When we were offered bread to start, she barked just take one' which was quite amusing.... We had too leave as soon as the food had finished as the chairs were so uncomfortable our backs were hurting and legs gone numb (first world problems i know). The music was so loud too. They did make an effort at the end with a candle which was a nice touch I think this is a sound concept, and. with some finesse of the timings, service and comfort, could score a 5...... I wouldn't go back, The thing that makes me sad is that my 19 year old daughter had spent the £100 on this meal for us and was gutted as she felt she had let me down... which wasn't the case at all"
