"If you were to make a list of the most glamorous and oversubscribed dining spots in London, what would you include? The Ivy, Covent Garden stalwart and default shorthand for an exclusive celebrity hangout, is a shoe in. Ditto Scott 's in Mayfair, where if you manage to get a booking between the hours of 7 and 9 you are surely something above a mere mortal. There 's Sheeky 's, favoured of West End stars and a very lucky minority of their audiences, and perhaps also Le Caprice, somewhere that generally hides a good number of influential and famous notables behind its lace curtains. And all of the above, astonishingly, are run by the same people Caprice Holdings. If we are to measure a restaurant 's success on its popularity and I can 't think of a better way of doing it then surely they are doing something right. It 's all very well having the best food in Britain but if you can 't sell yourself, if you can 't make the whole package of visiting a restaurant an event , something desirable"

"a first visit in this restaurant in plüsch mayfair. at the arrival they were warmly welcomed and welcomed by friendly staff. full marks here. they were properly sitting and served with a basket of different miniskule brot with butter. not sufficient for a table of 6. no refilling or even asking if one was required. a lot of drinks were ordered before eating. it took 3 requests for the drinks to finally arrive, although the bottle sparkling water was very fast. for the net I ordered the set roast beef sirloin lunch and possibly this would have been a very fine meal. there was a pretty waiting time until the main thing is served. the 2 slices of bark and the yorkshire pudding and crusty bratkartoffels looked very well presented and appetizing, although the bark was intermittently fat and chewing – with gristle somewhere in there. very disappointing in the did and out of the perceiving of the customer, this type of bark corresponds to a thing, and that is cheap / bad quality bark meat. they get 2 slices of roast beef and they would hopefully expect to eat the bark meat without fat and chewiness and it was certainly not warm or hot. the yorkshire pudding was large and airy, but was cold and probably left to lie after boiling. the brat potatoes were crunchy, but much too salty. the selection of vegetables was in order, but they were served stingy portions as they were divided under 3 beef diners. a bit misleading, as the picture of the Brat dinner would recommend that they get individual portions of side-narrow. after lunch I needed a 2 draws of ice much. the ice cream flavor was good, but the 3 pieces were very simple and could not justify this amount. I have the tasty with celestial and lemon curd sauces that were nice to taste. the restaurant was full with a good ambiente and the exit itself is very nicely located in a very expensive and plush area of london. that was, if I had expected a high-quality meal that I feared was not the case. the overall experience was expensive and in no way was it a good value for money. No one makes it to pay more than usual to go and eat, but at the same time they expect to get quality!"

"my friend and I went to capitulate for dinner to celebrate his birthday, as was capitula, we thought the only decent restaurant in blackheath. all the others seem to be pushing down quickly. we have been in the past often in the capitulas, and the food and services were good we had no appetizers and ordered only one main meal (black foam and black bell), because we were not huge hungry because we were eating a lot of birthday cakes earlier! we had a glass of wine and were offered a piece of bread. 35 minutes later we waited for our food. in this time no one came to ask if we were in order or offer us more drinks. I asked the manager if our food was ready. he said it would be 5 minutes without a statement of delay then disappeared 10 minutes later there was no sign of food or manager. That is why we decided to go because we lost interest in eating. we have to go and the manager came by. he told us the delay was due to a big party in the ground floor. this was not the case, there was a group of 8 people who had finished their meal for a long time. we were there earlier when it was much more business and the service was not so bad. while we waited, we saw a customer who had finished their meal, slipped £20 into the manager hand when he left. Perhaps the workers need bribe to provide good services? it is such a scandal, but another blackheath restaurant has become complicit and believes that it with the treatment of its customers without respect. I will vote for one with my feet and will not eat again in this restaurant. I will also leave everyone I don't know to go there"

"Arrived here at approx 10pm and was turned away because “they are closing and can only do takeaway”. On here it clearly states that this branch closes at 11pm. I would understand if it was 10.30 and the staff need time to close down the restaurant, but turning customers away a whole hour before closing time (with no other customers in there) isn’t good customer service. Just seemed like the staff was more concerned about going home early. Looking at previous google reviews this seems to be a recurring issue that clearly hasn’t been resolved."

"The surroundings are very pleasant but unfortunately the gentleman that was providing the live entertainment was really pretty bad,however,the staff realising this did not let him play for very long they did go round asking the diners for their feedback. I had ordered meatballs which were cold when they brought them to the table but quickly changed them for me couldn't apologise enough. I found the staff very friendly they really made us smile making our evening very pleasant which I was delighted with as my husband I were treating our friends to dinner to celebrate their anniversary as we do every year. Entertainment aside we all had a very lovely evening. Thanks again."

"there are many great things about this restaurant and I'm not sure where to start. that is probably one of my best restaurants in Great Britain. not only eating is great, but also the architecture, the mood and service of this restaurant are simply excellent. each room has a very unique and beautiful furnishings. it was good that we decided to have a glass of wine in the first floor before we go to the dining room. it was right after the celebration of the East Bank, so I was told by a waiter that it was much more relaxed today. we then went into a dining room and got a place on the window. we could see beautiful nature with a beautiful ochsen. all waiters were friendly and welcoming. we had a cure for and we thought it was literally a bargain for such a great experience in the peculiar place and in it did a delicious meal. we will be here soon, hopefully we would like to stay in the hotel!"

"Rhubarb is our go-to stopping point when visiting the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Set in the gorgeous Prestonfield House, even before you get to the beautifully decorated dining room, you are wandering around the beautifully landscaped gardens. Once inside, there is an a la carte menu of deliciousness, and during the Edinburgh Fringe, they have a three-course table d'hote menu, which never disappoints in terms of choice, value or quality. There are few restaurants we would return to time and time again, but Rhubarb is one we certainly will. "I and my family were back from easter voyage in somerset and dinner time had arrived. After we have read reviews for many pizzerias in guilford, we have selected this restaurant. When we arrived, we found this little really Italian place, here they can eat or take a part of the authentic Italian delicacies. they have one of the best pizzas that I had in england, and have a variety of rolls and sweets. good choice of weep and an almost perfect espresso. unfortunately I live far away, otherwise I will come back regularly."

"I wanted an iced frappe or a milkshake, so I decided to try this restaurant with a large menu. I prefer to support independent businesses, so I chose to get a milkshake. I opted for a simple one and was a bit disappointed when it arrived in a paper cup for £3.40. It was decent, frothy, and milky, but I couldn't really taste the flavor. "The shop was empty around 7pm which you'd think they'd be happy for custom! The 2 girls in the shop did not seem welcoming AT All, no smiles no customer service! The seats were filthy and the menus were sticky! When seated the lady did...not tell us we would have to order at the till, and was frowning and showed attitude when asked if she would take our order. Then another lady at the back said she told us (from behind the counter out of sight) that we'd have to go to the till. No one smilled all night!! THEY PLAYED EXPLICIT MUSIC WITH SWEAR WORDS IN EVERY VERSE even though my 12 Yr old sister was dining with us! The cakes were very dry and not worth the money and for the extra payment for custard, the teaspoon amount you get is offensive!! Overall experience was ridiculously terrible, will NEVER be going there again! Don't waste your money!"
