"I've driven/walked past this restaurant many times and one day upon googling I was suprised to learn it was one of the best restaurants in Cambridge. So I had to make a visit. Indeed this is the best Indian restaurant that I've personally visited in Cambridge (so far). I went for the Nalli Ka Gosht and Butter Naan. The meal was an absolute delight with the tenderness and flavour of the Lamb complimenting the sauces beautifully. I will certainly have to come back and try the fish menu. Thanks for making my visit a great experience!"

"The restaurant is top end, in a good central location in Green Park and the exquisite food was just to die for!! I’ve had all of these Indian dishes in other Indian restaurants and in comparison, Gymkhana’s Indian food was absolutely spot on for presentation as well as taste. The waiters are great, regularly checking to see if all is well and helping with dietary requirements. Knocked off one star for not being told certain things would be chargeable on our bill. All in all a good night, as you can see from pics and videos, with my girlfriends for life!"

"This charming small restaurant offers excellent service and delicious food. They also offer a discount on takeout orders. It is not often busy, so making a reservation is not always necessary. It is definitely one of our favorite spots."

"great place and earned the Michelin star at the wall. truly welcoming service with a lot of high quality Indian food. we were first greeted with papad and Chutney-Platter, followed by the interesting non-alcoholic basil fizz and the alphonso mango leti. we had the delicious aloo chat and telicherry squid and shrimps for beginners. the shahi lachs tikka was from the world and one has to try for every fish lover. then for mains we had the cashew pfeffer chicken and gongura lamb. the delicately balanced achaari aloo, dal panchmel (with a scotch bonnet for taste), rice and bread basket served to share. now comes the heavenly portions of desserts - bramley apple and pistachio kulfi and fig and cardamom kheer were amazing. when we celebrated birthday on the table, they also brought a free cake with a candle and a greeting card signed by all employees in trishna, which is a beautiful gesture. this is a very nice place for their taste shops and we come back to the final. this place is beautifully located in marylbone and less than 10 minutes walk from oxford circus, should be on their list in london."

"nice venue, personal attentive and very friendly. very busy for a Thursday who gave a good atmosphere. I ordered the butter chicken, looked gr8 out, but the chicken was very hard, so was overboiled, unusual for an Indian restaurant. the aromen were beautiful. we have the set £25 menu that was a good value. not many options for diners who are ceoliac and need gluten-free food, which was very disappointing. they had no separate frit so that non-glue-containing menu items were excluded due to cross-contamination. I would expect a Michelin Star cook to take the time to ensure that diners with food allergies have the same choice."

"The drinks menu offered plenty of options, including decent wines and a selection of beers and cocktails. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient, even with the restaurant fully booked on a Friday night—kudos to the staff. We even spoke with one of the team members who explained their concept of lighter curries, designed to energize rather than make you feel stuffed. They really hit the mark with that philosophy. The atmosphere was vibrant, filled with a diverse and relaxed crowd all enjoying their meals and conversations. I highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely return the next time I’m in Leeds—no question about it!"

"I dined here today with my father on March 26, 2023. Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience! We have been coming here for 15 years, but we have not visited in a few years. In the past, they used to offer great food, variety, and value with their lunch buffet. However, today my father had the vegetarian buffet and I ordered lamb samosas, chicken coconut curry, and rice. Sadly, all three of my dishes were bland, uninspired, and lacked flavor. My father felt the same way about his meal. Even the poppadoms were stale. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. I suggest avoiding this restaurant at all costs."

"I recently had a lovely anniversary dinner at Cafe Spice Namaste and subsequently found out on their Instagram that they were hosting watercolour paint and dine sessions in tandem with the Petals Studio shortly after. I therefore came back within a week to dine with them a second time. The food is incredible, the service very friendly, and the view of the dock and passing airplanes very beautiful. Highly recommend."

"Visited on a quiet Monday and made to feel very welcome. Not the biggest base menu ever but they’re happy to make modifications and open to suggestions as everything home made. You can taste it too! Excellent."

"I had a wonderful birthday dinner here last Friday and couldn't find anything wrong with the food or the service. The staff were delightful, well-informed about the menu, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. It's quite rare to come across restaurants like this these days. I will definitely be returning!"

"we had a nice meal in namaste last weekend and would highly recommend it. the employees have gone significantly too much work to make the place safe, the restaurant was extremely clean, we had checked our temperature at the arrival, completed track and trace on our phones, and the personal wore masks. eating was amazing, really fresh and authentic. there were many options for vegetarians, and the people in our group who told meat that this was also great. it was a quiet Sunday afternoon when we visited, but the service was great and the staff was very friendly and attentive. we will definitely come back!"

"Gymkhana was a good experience. The food was high end and the price wasn’t as high as I would expect for this location in Mayfair. The dress code is fancy, so dress to impress! The drinks were subpar but the good was AH MAY ZING. I tried the truffle and mushroom biryani this is super recommended. The butter chicken was beautiful too. Kasoori chicken is also recommended. The Gol Guppa were good! I want to come back and try the tandoori chicken, the next table had this and it looked aosososos good. The wait staff were super nice, a little awkward sometimes, but nice. The ambiance in the restaurant was pleasant and comfortable. Felt very high end and fancy. Really loved it. The only reason for a drop in star is because the hostess was a little pushy, she wanted our table back. It’s not like we were there for long, we stayed a 2 hour max but I went for dinner and catch up with a friend, which we continued afterwards but just felt a little pushed out prior."

"our party of 3 visited privthi for the first time on Thursday night and we were all incredibly impressed by the overall experience. it feels intimate and the service was impeccable. we chose the tasting menu that included 6 courses and each cure was as delicious as the last (it is rare that we can not choose a favourite course). the personal ensured that they felt welcome and cared for them, which enabled us the perfect attention to relax. it is booked quite far in advance if they want to book a weekend, but it was worth it in this case. I decided to go back to my 30th birthday party in a few months and we intend to try the bar above for pre-dinner drinks. we will come back eagerly!"

"Group of 4 friends visited for a pre birthday treat. The food was overall nice enough though pricey! We did return one dish due to it being too salty and the waiter rectified this and charged us still. The portion sizes are small and the rice was absolutely miniature hardly enough for one person and priced at £3. I do wish I’d taken a picture to show you all. The drinks prices are also high. The ambience was nice. The staff weren’t particularly friendly or attentive and could be seen rushing around like headless chickens mostly. Do not a service charge is added to the bill. The parking was free if visiting the restaurant. Overall nice but there are better places to eat so won’t be returning."

"The beautiful seaside hotel offers stunning ocean views. The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Despite the challenges of COVID19, the hotel is making every effort to prioritize safety and provide excellent service. They are working tirelessly to meet all guidelines. The hotel is also very welcoming to dogs."
"We stayed nearby so the location was perfect! To be truthful.. we were looking to go into another restaurant but I am so glad we made this mistake. Easter monday; expected it to be busy but staff were attentive when required. The atmosphere was We had a Gosht Sagwala and a Daal Makhani, and out of the 2 The Daal was absolutely beautiful! Do try the chapatis too : Thankyou for having us Gateway to India"
