"We came with foodie friends for dinner on a Saturday evening this was a birthday surprise had no idea where we were going but was delighted with the choice. Warmly welcomed on arrival and seated with a view over the water. The menu was fabulous Indian 'tapas ' sharing plates and/or more substantial main courses. If that was not enough a mouth watering selection of specials. Very original dishes. With guidance and suggestions from the friendly and informative staff, we worked our way through course after course; revisiting some of our favourites. The food was simply excellent. Wonderfully replete, they kindly brought out a home made birthday cake. An excellent evening, great food and one of the best Indian restaurants Ive eaten in.....and certainly the most creative. Highly recommended."

Went for a big family birthday and had the tasting menu. Trying so many dishes was fun, the food was delicious. Mrs Todiwala and her team were fabulous hosts making it a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Nestled in the east end a little off the beaten track. What a delight. A slightly unusual mix of Indian dishes that collectively adopts the idea of tapas, or small dishes, designed to excite the taste buds. Mains and sides to follow, but you are guaranteed explosions of flavour with every bite, regardless of your choice. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again.

What a great evening it was. The food was outstanding and such a great idea to have small plates of food before the meal as a starter. You get to try everything on the menu (if there's enough of you). Start with say 5 dishes, then have more, before moving onto your main course if you have room! The staff are very friendly and Cyrus and Pervin are the perfect hosts. Will definitely being going back.

What a treat! Visited on a busy Saturday evening, great atmosphere and the food was amazing- liked the small plate concept so you can taste a good variety of dishes from the well crafted menu. Every dish had an element that raised it from good to fabulous. Tried the samosa, chicken wings, dosa, duck, lamb and prawn. To top the evening off Mr and Mrs Todiwala were cooking and serving. They made us feel so welcome.

I recently had a lovely anniversary dinner at Cafe Spice Namaste and subsequently found out on their Instagram that they were hosting watercolour paint and dine sessions in tandem with the Petals Studio shortly after. I therefore came back within a week to dine with them a second time. The food is incredible, the service very friendly, and the view of the dock and passing airplanes very beautiful. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic place to eat. I had always wanted to eat at Mr Todiwala’s kitchen and it didn’t disappoint. We were greeted by his wife, who was a fantastic host and advised us on their menu and their selection of specials. The food was brilliant, well cooked and very very tasty. We will be back and it was well worth booking a hotel close by just to go to this restaurant in the evening. The whole experience with Mr Todiwala and his wife made my birthday treat so special.
