"nice venue, personal attentive and very friendly. very busy for a Thursday who gave a good atmosphere. I ordered the butter chicken, looked gr8 out, but the chicken was very hard, so was overboiled, unusual for an Indian restaurant. the aromen were beautiful. we have the set £25 menu that was a good value. not many options for diners who are ceoliac and need gluten-free food, which was very disappointing. they had no separate frit so that non-glue-containing menu items were excluded due to cross-contamination. I would expect a Michelin Star cook to take the time to ensure that diners with food allergies have the same choice."

Good Food, Great Service. Highly recommend anyone who would like to try the richness of Indian cuisine.

We opted for the early set meal option at £25 each. However, with one drink, extra bread costing £7, and a £7 service charge, our bill ended up being around £90 instead of the expected £50. Despite this, it was a delightful experience, and we truly enjoyed our meal. View menu

We booked a table for New Years Eve and had the early bird menu which was five courses. We loved all the courses but particularly the main courses of Sea bream and Lobster and the fabulous Dal! The service was also great but not obtrusive will definitely be back soon!

I had a wonderful experience with my family at this restaurant. It had a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. The murgh tikka starter was perfectly cooked and delicate, and the saag dish was very enjoyable.

Found the whole experience underwhelming. The quality of food did not justify the elevated price tags. The rest of the experience was average at best and not much different to other standard local restaurants. Riwas should not pretend to be a cut above the rest on the back chef Atul's reputation and website images. View menu

I had a truly wonderful experience. It wasn't as bustling as a typical Saturday dinner. The staff were professional, friendly, attentive, and very helpful. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. I have no complaints and would definitely return and recommend it to others.

This was our first time in the restaurant and we chose to have the tasting menu with a glass of champagne. The food arrived quickly and was very tasty. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We were just a bit disappointed with the overall look of the restaurant, and lack of ambience. May be it was because it was a Thursday evening. Pleasant, tasty but something lacking.

"Very disappointing. Our table was on the first floor via a steep narrow staircase. This is not suitable for an infirm or elderly person. The staff are welcoming and attentive. The table settings are nice. One is served with warm, somewhat hard, bread roll and butter. and a small soft roll sprinkled with parmesan, presumably an 'amuse bouche '. Everything is served with a flourish. We each had a main dish, without starter. Servings are small on large plates. My wife ordered one of two meat dishes on the menu sirloin steak which proved somewhat chewy and indifferent flavour. The alternative would have been rabbit. There were two fish dishes which would have been my choice but one with ginger to which I have an aversion which the chef apparently was unable remove. The other fish on offer was coley which is generally regarded as a cheap alternative to cod or haddock. It is used extensively in manufacture of fish fingers. The only other offering was a vegetarian dish with main ingredient of cauliflower. I often choose a vegetarian dish but this was without doubt the worst I had ever encountered. A small piece of cauliflower accompanied by other small, pretty tasteless objects that I could not identify but described as 'nori dumpling, chestnut mushroom, spring greens '. Finally, my wife chose a dark chocolate delice which she pronounced as ok but unremarkable. We have dined in restaurants of many standards worldwide and The Greyhound is both pretentious and for us, one of the worst for food."
