"dined at bombay brasserie on 12th august for a jubilee festival. we were greeted by a smile and quickly shown on our table. dining room is pretty, spacious by other tables and comfortable. chose every mocktail on the menu and an added virgin mojito, as we were thoroughly impressed how well these were. complimentary papads were a nice touch with a really nice mango chutney. we then continued to choose 3 starter, green carfreal, seah kebab and tikka, all were amazing. packed with taste, punch stronger than that of any boxer and soft as can get, so tender. 3 main courses followed; chicken makhani, mangolorean chicken and biryani accompanied by naan, egg paratha and raita. chicken makhani was really nice and creamy, mangalorean huhn a little let in, but that could be on another type in other restaurants and biryani and brote good, not exceptional. haupthighlights were the drinks and appetizers. service was good, standard service, not intrusive and followed a particular service protocol, but not about the expectation either for a restaurant with the name as large as these. Overall we enjoyed the evening and have come to a conclusion that the drinks and appetizers are worth visiting for"

This may very well be the best Indian food I have ever eaten, and the setting and service were definitely the best I have encountered at an Indian

The appetizers (complimentary pappadum with mango chutney; a yogurt, chickpea, chutney, and fried spinach dish) were delicious, with terrific flavor.

Relaxing and safe environment. Flavours were refined and cooked to perfection. Service was exceptional. Halibut starter is recommended and the freshly made Malabar Paratha are light, crispy, and the perfect accompaniment to some great main courses. Will be returning again!

High end Indian spot, up there with other solid restaurants Zaika, Jamavar, dishoom , butter chicken was heavenly! Presentation here is much better here than any other Indian restaurant I’ve ever been, overall a very good experience, staff are very professional too! 10 10 recommend, top 5 Indian restaurant in London for me!

Bombay Brasserie always delights! We have been celebrating at the restaurant since they opened in 1982 and have thoroughly enjoyed the best Indian food that is on offer in palatial surroundings with a throw back to a certain era and updated discreetly regularly. Well done to the new team under the guidance of the established. Delicious, divine, authentic dishes! Warm greetings of recognition that make us feel so welcome and part of the great service that reflects on the Taj brand.

Fantastic Indian cuisine. All from our starters...Palace chat, achari paneer to mini dosas to biryanis, dals, methi/malabar parathas to dals a side dishes...the food was lip smacking. The spice levels were mellowed down ...probably to suit local pallette. Service is fast, friendly and attentive. One of us celebrating our birthday received a cake as well. The meal concluded with gulab jamuns and raspberry chocolate mousse. A fantastic experience overall. Looking forward to our next visit.
