The interior looks stunning, and the dining experience was even better, featuring generous portions and prompt service. "My overall experience at the restaurant was quite disappointing. The mobile app was not user-friendly and lacked descriptions for the menu items, which made it challenging to make a choice. I ended up having to ask a waiter for physical menus. The service was also very slow; we ordered four drinks, but only two of them arrived. We had to approach the bar to inquire about the missing drinks, and only then were the others prepared. Additionally, I was informed that Coca-Cola was out of stock, so I had to choose a different beverage. This information should definitely be included in the app. The drinks were also overpriced. It seemed like the restaurant was understaffed, as the employees appeared stressed and overwhelmed, whether they were at the bar, on the floor, or in the kitchen. While the concept of having a food bar is appealing, it doesn’t make sense to operate with such minimal staff in one kitchen, especially when the menu is so extensive—it ultimately affects the quality of service."

"I visited the Crewe branch today with my daughter. We were the only ones in there which wasn't a problem. We were given the menus and once we were approached by the waitress, she couldn't tell me what was in the loaded nachos!!!! Not a great start when waiting staff doesn't even know the dishes. I had to ask her to find out since the menu gave limited information. We ordered nachos as a starter, waited a fairly long time, then I noticed the burger we'd ordered out ready for collection..... Before our starter!! . When I confronted who I thought was the manager, she yelled from one side of the restaurant to the waitress who served us, to query the order! Not very professional. Nachos were OK. I ordered the chicken wings and was very disappointed when they arrived to see 12 small end of the wings rather than a selection of the knuckle and end pieces. No meat at all on the ends. Not value for money. Chips were tasteless. The venue is advertised as different street food companies, so gives you the impression of the likes of a street market in a shopping mall. Nope, everything cooked in one kitchen by the same chefs......... So how they can describe it as a revolution in dining is beyond me. All in all 3/10 and we won't be going back."

"We had an amazing dining experience! We chose the Wagyu dish, which was incredibly delicious—rich, buttery, and tender. The other meats we tried were also fantastic, and the rice and side dishes complemented our meal perfectly. The waitstaff was excellent and always available to help us add more items to our dinner."

"We were the only two customers in the restaurant, yet our food took a long time to arrive and was severely burnt. Our dessert, a simple cookie, took 35 minutes to be served, even though there were no other tables occupied. No one apologized or offered any explanation for the delays. Our table wasn't cleared at all during our visit. Additionally, the manager was quite rude and appeared to be unsure of how to handle the situation."

"However, after placing our orders, we faced a long wait for our food. The pizza arrived 15 minutes before the rest of the meal, and we were not informed that the garlic bread was included. Eventually, three burgers were served, but after another 10 minutes, we had to inquire about my daughter's chicken burger. It turned out the chef had completely overlooked it in our order. The pizza remained untouched, as it was quite bland. I then requested a refund for the missing items, as my daughter didn’t want to wait any longer for her meal. To say the evening was disappointing would be an understatement. The manager eventually came over to apologize and offered a full refund, acknowledging that his staff were doing their best; however, it seemed that the focus on delivery orders took precedence over the dining experience for those present. It may be beneficial to have a cook who can manage both delivery and dine-in orders, ensuring that seated customers are not forgotten."

"My experience at the restaurant felt quite impersonal. There was no atmosphere whatsoever, and the place appeared old and in need of a makeover. We had to wait nearly an hour for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was cold. Additionally, the table we were seated at was quite dirty."

"This restaurant offered Malaysian food, and more specifically, food of Malay origin and not the typical South east asian Chinese style. I had the beef rendang, which is a typical dry beef curry that goes very well with rice. My dish was served in a generous portion, and the beef was cooked to perfection. Service was excellent as well, with a very attentive server who listened well to my allergies (and foods to avoid), and helped me to pick the right dish. Overall this is one place that I would certainly like to return to!"

"the food was good in bengal bertie’s in north finchley, but the restaurant urgently needs more staff, it was half an hour between our poppadoms and in the position to order the rest of the food. they were not busy in the restaurant itself there were only 2 other tables, but the constant stream of Takeaway calls meant that the waiter was constantly on the pone."

"Passing by noticed that they were offering unlimited roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and gravy with the roast dinners and seeing as I was hungry I thought I’d pop in for a roast and a pint. Service was swift and the girl behind the bar was very friendly. Ordered a turkey roast and I was not disappointed. Had a few of the unlimited Yorkies and potatoes after as per the sign on the window and there was no moaning/grumbling like some places tend to do. Would recommend and will have again when in the area."

They seem to have had a refurb since some of the pics on here were posted and it looks really smart inside. The staff were attentive and very friendly. "We went to celebrate my boyfriend birthday. Food was alright but service wasn’t great. Waitress forgot to send one of our main course and we had to ask few times where is our food,eventually arranged when we all finished our main courses. Also some of the starters arrived but we didn’t order them and later on they were added on our bill. No apology or whatsoever, I wouldn’t go back there again even though venue it’s really nice and if the waitress would be nicer to us I’m sure we could have better experience."

"Lovely little restaurant with outstanding food. Definitely start with the chicken momos, they're fantastic. My partner ordered paneer tikka masala and said the sauce was a bit sweet for her taste, but her garlic naan disappeared quickly. I had the nepalese chicken curry, which was similar to other curries I've had but very well balanced and delicious, especially with hot roti. We would love to come back someday."

"never had a bad one. always eat wonderful! we ordered very regularly during the shutdown. eating always comes hot and fresh and is delivered on time. our favourite dishes are tarka dansak (cut in nots) and say poneer with...runny cheese. the madras is excellent and tikka dishes always delicious. I also love the naga huh, but it's hot! the young in hasina also excellent ... it's still open to the business. the restaurant in the time renovated to open for mai highly recommended and I am very fussy!"

"I am from out of town, staying on business. Great side dish but terrible main. Considering its was a Chefs Special, lumps of over cooked chicken in a bland sauce. Absolute rip off. However Staff were quick to replace with my request of a small chicken tikka but still got charged with the main and then asked for a tip. If you are serving this quality food on a Thursday night as your main course for the price you are charging, you have a lot of ground to make up. This place seems to be on the thin end of the wedge. I would not recommend."

"My husband and I regularly order from here and are usually pleased with quality nothing amazing but does the job. Today however, the Chicken Malaya was awful the curry was smimming in water and the chicken was tough. It was as though I was chewing on leather. The prawn on puri was also tasteless. Overall a terrible experience tonight and the food quality left a lot to be desired."

"Went for the first time as part of the Eat out to help out scheme and we already said that we will be coming back. I often just default to a chicken Korma but I was determined to try something new and chose the Haandi lamb and was very happy with it. The peshwari naan and keema rice were delicious as well. There are only a handful of tables so if you are coming from further away and want to eat here you should probably book a table in advance just in case."
