"for the first time I and my partner visited the seasoned quarter on a weekend trip to cardiff. the staff was happy and friendly. our waiter was very nice, he explained everything on the menu, pulled out our chairs for us. certain service with a smile. the food was absolutely delicious and there was a lot of it! we really enjoyed it. the only negatiw was that the drinks are very expensive and that eating is a bit expensive. but it was worth everything, and we would visit again!"

"The staff at the restaurant was extremely friendly and welcoming. The price for the food was on the higher side, but it was worth it. Each dish was served promptly and I didn't have to wait long. Overall, I had a great experience."

"We went to Zeera on a quiet Sunday afternoon for my Birthday, as soon as we walked through the door the service was very friendly, helpful and outstanding throughout our meal. You could tell the food was fresh, extremely delicious and a great range to choose from. The only minor drawback I could find was the fact of no outdoor seating, as we visited in July this would have been great. However, the waiter that served us ensured the air con was on so it didn't get too uncomfortable. Overall I would definitely recommend Zeera to anybody for a love of Indian food, you will not be disappointment!"

"It’s taken us well over a year to visit this Nepalese restaurant which made its home on Askew Road in Shepherd’s Bush in June 2014. Monkey Temple takes its name from the Buddhist Swayambhunath Temple and Unesco World Heritage Site, which is home to hundreds of monkeys, considered to be holy by believers After a rather long day for us all, the prospect of someone else cooking was a marvellous one and we didn’t want to stray too far. We hadn’t booked, but a table for three was found in the time it took to have a gin and tonic in the local No sooner had we sat, the staff had taken our drinks order and delivered three crispy poppadoms with the usual bowls of mango chutney, raita...read more"

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"Have to be honest we didn’t eat here but had to share our experience of bad customer service! We recently booked a table for dinner on a tribute night, despite having a booking confirmation, a booking reminder on the day when we arrived we were told there was no table for us. We had a half an hour drive to get to the restaurant so were not very happy to be turned away. The manager was insistent that they had tried to call me to get a £10 deposit per person but despite telling him this was untrue as I have had no missed calls or messages left he was really rude and unhelpful. He kept saying that the emails are automated and nothing can be done. I find this really poor customer service as I had emails agreeing to the table and there was no way of paying deposit online so we were totally in the dark. I finished work early to make this tribute night and was really looking forward to it so left very disappointed. We certainly will not be returning and urge anyone else who has booked a table for one of these nights to ensure you confirm the table is definitely there for you before leaving home."

"in this evening, when the owner was empty shortly after 18 o'clock, he was happy to see us! he already had a phone call. he gave us the feeling that we feel sorry for not coming to us immediately. that was no problem anyway. the service was great, eating was really nice, too much for us. the owner son has been looking for us at the end of our visit, which is a charming young man. this place is fantastic going and supporting her local business. Yes, we had the place to ourselves, but we felt like we all had advantages of a busy and lively hour or something."

"The restaurant offers a diverse selection of dishes ranging from the slow-cooked lamb Chewela to the deliciously creamy butter chicken. The cheesy Seekh kebab is a unique fusion dish, and the Pommi naan and Keema rice complement the curries perfectly. The Kulfi dessert helped to cool down the spiciness of the Chewela and chilli chicken. Additionally, there were plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day. The food was excellent, the staff were knowledgeable, the atmosphere was great, and it is a must-visit in Manchester. I will definitely be returning in the future."

"On Wednesday, 30/11/22, three local middle-aged pescatarian men celebrated a birthday by going out for lunch at Madras, a Sri-Lankan/South Indian restaurant in Lewisham. They had been to the restaurant before when it was known as The Green Cabin. The restaurant had a few faded decorations and furniture, but the food was always tasty and reasonably priced. They arrived around 13:40 and found the restaurant nearly empty, so they chose a table by the window in the hopes of attracting more customers. The menu offered a mix of traditional Indian and South Indian dishes, and they decided to skip alcohol and order lassis instead. They were cautious about ordering too much due to the spiciness of the food. Throughout their meal, they noticed several delivery couriers coming in and out. A family arrived later on, but the restaurant remained relatively quiet. One of the men accidentally ordered a mixed Thali, which turned out to be a pleasant surprise with a variety of delicious vegetarian dishes. They also ordered a Mutton Masala Dosai and some side dishes to share. The food was spicy but delicious, and they managed to finish everything without needing a doggy bag. The bill came to a reasonable £50.90, and they left a £5 tip before heading out into the streets of Lewisham, happy and satisfied."

"I am from india and we were in Scotland for 4 days in March 2017. it was my last night in edinburgh. before we arrived, we tried some Indian restaurants, but we were disappointed with taste. eating in shenaz is perfect and authentic Indian style. for starters we tried chickens dry. it was nicely prepared. 4.5/5 we tried chicken vindaloo and garlic nan. perfectly prepared with Indian spicy and juicy masala gravur. that was the first time we eat india during our 15 days British tour. 5/5 short, this is the best Indian restaurant among all near Indian restaurant. do not hesitate to choose them if they trust my judgment. but prepare for spicy food. cost: 25 30 for 2 personen ambiente: average. make sure to book a table on the phone before they leave. especially at the weekend. we didn't have that table during our first attempt on Friday night. but we booked a table on Saturday night 2 hours ago expected arrival time and got the reservation without any problems."

"With stylish presentation, delicately flavours and silky sauces, Kouchin's menu includes poplar curry house favourites, but its their ‘Connoisseurs Choice’ of unique dishes which catch the eye. Kouchin's ‘Dom Phukt’ cooking tradition dates back to the days of they Moghuls but with addition of modern panache. I'd recommend Grilled Seabass Fillet with roasted pickling spices £12.95; Tawa Duck Breast marinated in garlic, ginger, mustard, coriander honey then grilled on a tawa. Served with stir fried rice, noodles a medium spiced sauce for £11.95, in soft cheese saffron with a crunchy crisped skin, but succulent pink flesh £12.95; or the Lobster In Goan Masala of coconut, star aniseed for £25.95."

"I 'm a lover of hot curries..and I mean really, really hot curries: A Vindaloo is mild to my palate,so I thought I 'd go one step up and order a Chicken Phall from City Spice. I 'm glad to say it didn 't disappoint. The Chicken was perfectly cooked;fibrous, generous, great texture and not at all like that rubbery, watery injected stuff. (as is customary in so many Indian restaurants these days). The sauce was to die for and had the perfect pureed consistency...cooked and roasted to perfection...Thank you Chef, you have a great palate.. The meal had the taste of a true 'BIR ' (British Indian Restaurant) in the same way I remember it from the 80 's, when we used to stagger home drunk and stop at the nearest Indian restaurant on the way home. The portions are very generous too.Don 't hesitate to order from City Spice. I find that the true benchmark for any Indian restaurant/takeaway is how well they cook their hot curries...If the really hot curries are good the rest of the menu will be outstanding. I 'll definitely be a regular customer here!"

"Milan has a lovely cuisine that does not bloat like other brand name Indian restaurants. The food is well made and has an authentic Indian feel. It has a good variety, but not so extensive as to make you undecided about what to order... The location is easy to reach in the city and close to other well known Indian restaurants. The service was very good and friendly. How could you make it to an outstanding score: More attention to moving the dinner smoothly. Gap between starters and main course could be shorter More comfortable chairs"
