"I was really open for all last night to go into a brand new restaurant is always an experience. at the arrival we were a touch early so explored by the Asian loading, which is tied into caffe, so a large number of ingredients was a very encouraging start. in the restaurant itself I was blown away from the sheer mass of the menu, as many incredible dishes, (we tried as many as possible.) our waiter moved us to many dishes and advised us to try a bit of it and a bit of it. everything was really great and full of balanced traditional taste; really the best Indian food I've ever seen. this evaluation could be an 11-page dissertation, but I will save them all from it. 10/10 and cannot wait to dedicate the rest of the menu!"

"We can't say anything bad about the cuisine which remains standard, and the choice is very vast, almost a little too much, you get lost. On the other hand, the service is non-existent, no draft beer, only bottles so we ask for water which we never saw coming... The waiter avoids us so as not to have to take our order again... The table next door, an Englishman who seemed to be waiting before us ended up leaving, we could see him annoyed at waiting... But all the other restaurants were full. So address to avoid. Our English isn't great, but that doesn't explain the waiter's condescension, and no cleaning of the table between each guest, that makes you want it!"

I have been about 6 times over the past 12 months (once for Christmas Day) and they never disappoint. The management and staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is always amazing. "Wow wow wow. Having lived in Birmingham for over 20 years this is one one the best curry houses I have had the pleasure of attending. "We came here for my friend's birthday last week.. they were quite attentive.. it's only a shame one of our party was running late so it got a bit awkward having to say we weren't ready to order BUT we were asked for drinks and poppadom starters very early on. Really lovely restaurant setting, spacious and generally had a relaxed feel to it. I would definitely recommend getting a Thali as the name is all about it. We were raving about the peshwari naans- girls said it was the best one they'd ever had. I got the MALAI KARI KING PRAWN THALI (GF)(N)(M and whilst it was nice, it didn't make me food dance! As I like spice I would get the Chilli Paneer next time but the prawns were really succulent and everything lent itself to each other. I was full to the brim after my Thali.. would definitely come back again."

"I made a reservation here for my husband's birthday, and we were seated at a table by the window with a lovely view of the river. The food was delicious, but we were frequently interrupted by various staff members asking if our meal was satisfactory or if we wanted more drinks or extra rice. This made it difficult for us to fully enjoy our meal. As soon as we finished our main courses, we were asked if we wanted dessert, which we declined, and we were promptly handed the bill and asked to pay. Interestingly, they informed us that they don't accept cash payments, but tips in cash are welcome! While we really enjoyed the food, the service and the rushed atmosphere were disappointing. If we were to return, it would likely just be for takeout, as we barely had time to relax and finish our drinks before they wanted to turn over the table. We were there for less than an hour."

"I have had a few take away meals from The Vine Spice and enjoyed them, so my wife and I treated friends to a meal at the restaurant there. Sadly and surprisingly I was extremely disappointed. One of our friend 's found that the chicken in their meal was undercooked (it was still pale pink and highlighted this to staff. It was taken away and a replacement given. The chicken in this was cooked fine, but the sauce was now much more watery and lacked flavour due to this (the other had a nice, thick creamy sauce . My wife and I are both vegan and member of staff taking our order didn 't seem too sure what this meant. During our meal, we had 3 different members of staff coming up asking us the same questions rather than one member of staff being given responsibility for this role. All the staff were very polite, but it was a little disconcerting to be trying to have a conversation only for another member of staff interrupt to ask a question asked a few minutes previously (e.g. whether everything was alright, whether we required any more drink etc. Our vegan curries had several hard pieces of veg (we don 't overcook our veg and enjoy a slight bite to them, but numerous bits of veg were virtually raw and must 've been chucked into the sauce moments before dishing up and my wife found some onion with the root still attached. Also, I did find the meal to be expensive for what you get. Given this experience, I won 't be getting any more meals from The Vine Spice ."

"We visited here for dinner with friends on 7th of May 2024. It was my third visit though. First visit was okay so gave it a try for second visit but it’s better than the I thought so followed the third visit and it was flawless. The ambience surpassed my expectations. Very fascinating deco, comfortable seatings, cleanliness and all are spot on. Food is freshly prepared very authentic and aromatic. Each of the items are very tasty and flavoursome but My favourite one is Gurkha Chicken Bhuna. Service was quick smooth than the first visit; it’s definitely improved recently with the effect of a new additional waitress. I strongly recommend to this place if you’re a curry lover . I’ve already decided for my fourth visit . Well done team “Gurkha corner”."

"I used to be at khushis in dunfermline, but only for lunch. my friend and I arrived about 15 minutes early, but sat without problems. free nibbles were released and drinks ordered. we were then for approx. 5-10 minutes to look at the menu that was good, as I really hate being upset by the minute I sit down. food was ordered and quickly brought to our table. we ordered the 4 kebab cellar to begin and the waiter explained what each of them was without being asked what was a nice note I thought. eating was fantastic as it was always when I was there and the bill showed the excellent value for money available."

There are a few parking spots outside the restaurant, and a carpark 50 yards down the road on the left. The atmosphere was great, and I highly recommend dishes like Butter Chicken, Pickle Tray, Curry Chicken, and Onion Bhaji. Vegetarians will find a large selection of dishes to choose from. There is plenty of parking available, including free street parking options. Overall, I give this restaurant a 5-star rating for food, service, and atmosphere."

"You can tell how good an Asian restaurant is by whether the local Asian community frequent it. Chai Station is a go too restaurant. Only serving Veg and Vegan food it's a rare find. No alcohol but you can take your own. All the food is prepared to order and we'll worth the short wait, 5 mins for us. The owner and waitress were both helpful when it came to choices, of which there are many, even carnivores will find many dishes they'll love. Eating out for less than £20 a head is rare these days, add food of this quality as well, you'll probably see a Dodo first. Many thanks, Nick."

"Sneaky overpring for very average food. When we ordered soft drinks, we expected standard bottles or cans were given pints of cola and lemonade and charged £5.50 for each. one starter, one main course, single naan, a japati, popodams and rice came to £64. On paying the bill an extra 10% service charge was added when I questioned this and asked where on the menu it said this I was told this is standard. !!!! I was then told cash only as card machine not working. probably don 't like paying merchant fees) I said I don 't have cash and suddenly card machine was working again. Would never go back again as I felt totally ripped off."

"Our go-to Indian in Carmarthen. Seats about 60. Been there for years. VERY (honestly sometimes a bit TOO quick service. Free popadoms arrive before you have even sat at your table normally! Food is good, tasty and not over heavy/thick with the sauce and the portions are of a decent size. Prices are around the general norm these days. So overall a very decent restaurant, with the only downsides in my option the sometimes over-fast food delivery and the sometimes clouds of smoke that can pervade the restaurant (like a light fog! from the hot skillet dishes, however don’t let those two points stop you from eating at this decent restaurant. Recommend."

"One word: IMPRESSIVE. We got a menu through the letterbox last week, we decided to reluctantly try out this place as it offered vegan options and we thought yeah why not. I say reluctantly because we had recently had some other Indian food that was bland at best. We couldn't order online so decided to call and from then on the experience was above and beyond our expectations. The staff on the phone was mega friendly, very informative and even waited a little bit because I told them I was gonna pop out. We decided to order the lemon rice which I can honestly say is the BEST RICE I have ever tasted. The curry was aromatic and incredibly delicious, the daal was full of flavour, the veggies were fresh and the naan bread... omg the naan bread. I cannot recommend this place enough. Delicious food, vegan friendly! and super fast delivery too. Thank you for completing our evening! The only regret I have is having forgotten to order my lassi! But I will now look forward to ordering more times. To anyone reading this: this is THE place to go to."

"This is a lovely, relaxed and modern looking South Indian restaurant serving vegetarian food. The quality and taste of the food are great and you can get dosa, poori and battura bread, which you can't find in regular Indian food places. The prices are good too for a curry, such as daal or chana massala. The garlic rice is also a favourite of mine. The staff are friendly and don't buzz around you, so there is a nice relaxed atmosphere. Generally this place does not attract the loud beer-guzzling Hammersmith Friday-night crowd, which is a plus (maybe that's because it's a veggie restaurant and they do good value for money lunch menu options. The decor is quite bright and warm, with smooth wooden tables and chairs some people don't like this because of the lack of a private' feel, but for me it means that you know it's definitely very clean and they are not hiding dirt in any hidden-away dark corners."
